In the framework of the “Seeds for Integration” project, the Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions (OBESSU) has launched the Seeds for Integration Grants.
The aim is to provide seed-funding to secondary school students on local, regional or national level to empower them to implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the integration of refugee students and pupils with migration background.
The objectives are to:
- engage all students, regardless of their origins, into a debate over the situation of refugee and migrant children in Europe in the context of education, and to forge a dialogue between schools on a local, regional and national level about the above topic;
- foster and support initiatives of school students that are empowering their peers with migration background to share with the school community their experiences and the challenges they face in the field of education, thus raising awareness to the issues refugeeand migrant pupils might encounter during their everyday life.
- build closer ties between the communities’ migrant students are coming from and the school community.
Grants
Depending on what is the plan and level of activity, it is possible to apply for a Seeds for Integration grant under three possible pillars:
Pillar 1 - Up to 1000 or 4000 Euros will be granted to:
- grass-root initiatives of secondary school students;
- student unions active on local, regional or national level having a creative idea about how to support the integration of pupils and students with refugee and migrant background. The amount is assigned according to the size of the union and project idea.
Eligible applicants
- secondary school students studying in a European country;
- their team has to have at least 3 members, all secondary school students. The person who will be communicating with OBESSU must have at least medium level English language knowledge;
- the applicant should have a bank account for payment in Euros (student union bank account or a bank account of another organisation that will support the team in administration);
- the initiative has to be finished until the end of 2019.
Specific eligibility criteria per grant scale:
Small scale grants
- all members of the team should attend the same secondary level school or the proposed initiative has to be a collaborative activity between 2 or more schools;
- the initiative has to have a local or regional impact.
Large scale grants
- the application has to be submitted by an OBESSU Member, Candidate or Affiliate Organisation;
- the initiative has to be implemented on a national level.
Deadline: applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Project proposals will be evaluated throughout the year.
Pillar 2 - Up to 7500 Euros granted to:
- OBESSU Member;
- Candidate organisation;
- Affiliate organisation
interested to promote the "Seeds for Integration" project so that even students living in rural areas and small towns know what is the project about and use the opportunities offered.
National school student unions applying for this pillar, will have to implement a so-called Inclusion Work Package (IWP) with the objective of promoting the project on a national level and contributing to increase the quality of the applications.
Tasks
- organise at least one big or several smaller events for a total of 100 students promoting “Seeds for Integration” project;
- empower students interested in applying for funding, by assisting them during the process;
- make sure that all the documentation (promotional materials, Call for applications, Application form guideline, Application form) is accessible to each student.
Eligible applicants
- Any OBESSU Member, Candidate or Affiliate Organisation which representative person, in charge of communicating with OBESSU, has at least medium level English language knowledge (level B1/B2).
Deadline: 20 January 2019, 23:59 CET.
Pillar 3 - Up to 10.000 Euros granted to:
- Secondary school student organisation (formal or non-formal / working on local, regional or national level);
- partnership projects between secondary school and university students implying cooperation between ESU and OBESSU organisations
- interested to improve the position of refugee and migrant students in their country.
Tasks
- doing a research about the inclusivity of learning environment;
- organising a campaign in order to increase the number of students with refugee/migrant background;
- bringing together students from host communities and those with refugee and migrant background through different sports events;
- organising an art-exhibition in order to present the realities of refugee and migrant communities;
- preparing music/food festival for the local community

A “Seed for Integration” elnevezésű projekt keretében az OBESSU (Organising Bureau of European School Student Union) elindította középiskolás diákoknak szóló támogatási programját.
A kezdeményezés célja, hogy a helyi, regionális vagy nemzeti szinten működő diákszövetségek, illetve iskolai diáktanács hiányában saját iskolájukat képviselő diákok független csoportjai kezdőtőke-támogatáshoz jussanak. Ezzel a hozzájárulással a szervezet a menekült és migráns háttérrel rendelkező diákok beilleszkedését támogatja.

În cadrul proiectului “Seeds for Integration”, Biroul de Organizare al Asociațiilor de Elevi din Europa (OBESSU) a lansat Granturile “Seeds for Integration”.
Obiectivul este de a oferi finanțare elevilor din învățământul liceal la nivel local, regional sau național, pentru a le permite să implementeze inițiative menite să sporească integrarea elevilor refugiați și a celor care provin din familii de migranți.
Obiective:
-Implicarea tuturor elevilor, indiferent de originea lor, într-o dezbatere privind situația copiilor refugiați sau migranți în Europa, în contextul educației, precum și de a crea un dialog între școli la nivel local, regional și național având ca tema subiectul de mai sus;
-încurajarea și susținerea inițiativelor elevilor care îi abilitează pe colegii lor cu backgroud de migrație să împărtășească cu comunitatea școlară experiențele și provocările cu care se confruntă în domeniul educației, sporind astfel conștientizarea problemelor cu care se pot întâlni zilnic elevii refugiați migranți.
-Crearea unor legături mai strânse între comunitățile de unde provin elevii migranți și comunitățile școlare.
Granturi:
În funcție de planul și nivelul de activitate, se poate solicita un grant prin Pilonul 1, Pilonul 2 sau Pilonul 3.
Pilon 1 – Se vor acorda până la 1000 sau 4000 de euro pentru:
- inițiative ale elevilor de liceu;
- asociații ale elevilor active la nivel local, regional sau național care au idei creative privind modul în care poate fi sprijinită integrarea elevilor refugiați și migranți. Suma este alocată în funcție de mărimea asociației și de ideea proiectului.
Solicitanți eligibili
- elevi de liceu care studiază într-o țară europeană;
- echipa lor trebuie să aibă cel puțin 3 membri, toți elevi de liceu. Persoana care va comunica cu OBESSU trebuie să aibă cunoștințe de limbă engleză cel puțin de nivel mediu;
- solicitantul trebuie să aibă un cont bancar în euro (cont bancar al asociației sau cont bancar al unei alte organizații care va sprijini echipa administrativă);
- inițiativa trebuie finalizată până la sfârșitul anului 2019.
Criterii de eligibilitate în funcție de grant:
Granturi la scară mică
- toți membrii echipei trebuie să frecventeze același liceu sau inițiativa propusă trebuie să fie o activitate de colaborare între două sau mai multe școli;
- inițiativa trebuie să aibă un impact local sau regional.
Granturi pe scară largă
- candidatura trebuie să fie depusă de către un membru, o organizație candidată sau afiliată OBESSU;
- inițiativa trebuie pusă în aplicare la nivel național.
Termen limită: în derulare. Propunerile de proiecte vor fi evaluate pe parcursul anului.
Pilonul 2 – Se vor acorda până la 7500 de euro pentru:
- organizații membre OBESSU;
- organizații candidate;
- organizații afiliate
interesate să promoveze proiectul "Seeds for Integration", astfel încât și elevii care locuiesc în zonele rurale și orașele mici să cunoască proiectul și să folosească oportunitățile oferite.
Asociațiile naționale ale elevilor care solicită acest pilon trebuie să implementeze un așa-numit pachet de incluziune (IWP) având ca obiectiv promovarea proiectului la nivel național și creșterea calității candidaturilor.
Sarcini
- să organizeze cel puțin un eveniment de dimensiune mare sau mai multe evenimente mai mici pentru un număr de 100 de elevi care promovează proiectul "Seeds for Integration";
- să împuternicească elevii interesați să solicite finanțare, asistându-i în timpul procesului;
- să se asigure că toate documentele (materiale promoționale, apeluri pentru granturi, ghidul formularului de candidatură, formularul de candidatură) sunt accesibile fiecărui elev.
Solicitanți eligibili
- Orice membru, organizație candidată sau afiliată OBESSU, având o persoană responsabilă pentru a comunica cu OBESSU, care cunoaște limba engleză la nivel mediu (nivel B1/B2).
Termen limită: 10 ianuarie 2019, 23:59 CET.
Pilonul 3 – se acordă până la 10.000 de euro pentru:
- organizații ale elevilor din învățământul liceal (formale sau nonformale/la nivel local, regional sau național);
- proiecte de parteneriat între elevi de liceu și studenți care implică cooperarea între organizațiile ESU și OBESSU;
- interesate să îmbunătățească situația studenților refugiați și migranți în țara lor.
Sarcini
- să efectueze activități de cercetare privind incluziunea în cadrul mediului educațional;
- să organizeze campanii pentru creșterea numărului de elevi refugiați sau care provin din familii de migranți;
- să îi aducă împreună pe elevii din comunitățile gazdă și pe elevii refugiați sau migranți prin intermediul diferitelor evenimente sportive;
- să organizeze expoziții de artă care să prezinte realitățile comunităților de refugiați și migranți;
- să pregătească festivaluri de muzică/gastronomice pentru comunitatea locală.

En el marco del proyecto "Semillas para la integración", la Oficina de organización de sindicatos de estudiantes de escuelas europeas (OBESSU) ha lanzado las becas semillas para la integración.
El objetivo es proporcionar financiación inicial a los estudiantes de secundaria a nivel local, regional o nacional para que puedan implementar iniciativas dirigidas a mejorar la integración de estudiantes refugiados y alumnos con antecedentes migratorios.
Los objetivos son:
- involucrar a todos los estudiantes, independientemente de sus orígenes, en un debate sobre la situación de los niños refugiados y migrantes en Europa en el contexto de la educación, y forjar un diálogo entre las escuelas a nivel local, regional y nacional sobre el tema anterior;
- Fomentar y apoyar las iniciativas de los estudiantes escolares que están empoderando a sus compañeros con antecedentes migratorios para compartir con la comunidad escolar sus experiencias y los desafíos que enfrentan en el campo de la educación, lo que aumenta la conciencia sobre los problemas que los alumnos refugiados y refugiados pueden encontrar durante su vida cotidiana. .
- Crear vínculos más estrechos entre los estudiantes migrantes de las comunidades y la comunidad escolar.
Becas
Dependiendo de cuál sea el plan y el nivel de actividad, es posible solicitar una beca bajo una de las tres modalidades posibles:
Pilar 1: se otorgarán hasta 1.000 o 4.000 euros a:
- iniciativas de base de estudiantes de secundaria;
- sindicatos de estudiantes activos a nivel local, regional o nacional que tengan una idea creativa sobre cómo apoyar la integración de alumnos y estudiantes con antecedentes de refugiados y migrantes. La cantidad se asigna de acuerdo con el tamaño del sindicato y la idea del proyecto.
Solicitantes elegibles
- estudiantes de secundaria que estudian en un país europeo;
- su equipo debe tener al menos 3 miembros, todos estudiantes de secundaria. La persona que se comunicará con OBESSU debe tener al menos un nivel medio de inglés;
- el solicitante debe tener una cuenta bancaria que permita que el pago se realice en euros (cuenta bancaria del sindicato de estudiantes o una cuenta bancaria de otra organización que apoyará al equipo en la administración);
- La iniciativa debe estar terminada a finales de 2019.
Criterios específicos de elegibilidad por escala de becas:
Becas a pequeña escala
- todos los miembros del equipo deben asistir a la misma escuela de nivel secundario o la iniciativa propuesta debe ser una actividad de colaboración entre 2 o más escuelas;
- La iniciativa debe tener un impacto local o regional.
Becas a gran escala
- la solicitud debe ser presentada por un miembro de OBESSU, candidato u organización afiliada;
- La iniciativa debe ser implementada a nivel nacional.
Plazo: se aceptan solicitudes de forma continua. Las propuestas de proyectos serán evaluadas a lo largo del año.
Pilar 2 - Hasta 7500 euros concedidos a:
- Miembro de OBESSU;
- Organización candidata;
- Organización afiliada interesado en promover el proyecto "Semillas para la integración" para que incluso los estudiantes que viven en áreas rurales y pueblos pequeños sepan de qué se trata el proyecto y aprovechen las oportunidades que se ofrecen.
Los sindicatos de estudiantes de escuelas nacionales que soliciten este pilar, deberán implementar el llamado Paquete de Trabajo de Inclusión (IWP) con el objetivo de promover el proyecto a nivel nacional y contribuir a aumentar la calidad de las solicitudes.
Tareas
- organizar al menos uno grande o varios eventos más pequeños para un total de 100 estudiantes que promueven el proyecto "Semillas para la integración";
- capacitar a los estudiantes interesados en solicitar fondos, asistiéndolos durante el proceso;
- asegúrese de que toda la documentación (materiales promocionales, convocatoria de solicitudes, guía del formulario de solicitud, formulario de solicitud) sea accesible para cada estudiante.
Solicitantes elegibles
- Cualquier Miembro de OBESSU, Candidato u Organización afiliada cuya persona representativa, a cargo de la comunicación con OBESSU, tenga al menos un nivel de conocimiento del idioma inglés (nivel B1 / B2).
Fecha límite: 10 de enero de 2019, 23:59 CET.
Pilar 3 - Hasta 10.000 euros concedidos a:
- Organización de estudiantes de escuela secundaria (formal o no formal / que trabaja a nivel local, regional o nacional);
- proyectos de colaboración entre la escuela secundaria y estudiantes universitarios que implican la cooperación entre ESU y las organizaciones OBESSU
- Interesados en mejorar la posición de los estudiantes refugiados y migrantes en su país.
Tareas
- hacer una investigación sobre la inclusión del ambiente de aprendizaje;
- organizar una campaña para aumentar el número de estudiantes con antecedentes de refugiados / migrantes;
- reunir a estudiantes de las comunidades anfitrionas y aquellos con antecedentes de refugiados y migrantes a través de diferentes eventos deportivos;
- organizar una exposición de arte para presentar las realidades de las comunidades de refugiados y migrantes;
- Preparando festival de música / comida para la comunidad local.

Im Rahmen des Projekts „Seeds for Integration“ hat das Organisationsbüro der Europäischen Schülergewerkschaften (OBESSU) die Seeds for Integration Grants ins Leben gerufen. Ziel ist die Bereitstellung von Startkapital für Schüler der Sekundarstufe auf lokaler, regionaler oder nationaler Ebene. Sie sollen in die Lage versetzt werden, Initiativen zur Verbesserung der Integration von Flüchtlingsstudenten und Schülern mit Migrationshintergrund umzusetzen.
Die Ziele sind:
- alle Schüler ungeachtet ihrer Herkunft in eine Debatte über die Situation von Flüchtlings- und Migrantenkindern in Europa im Kontext der Bildung einbeziehen und einen Dialog zwischen Schulen auf lokaler, regionaler und nationaler Ebene über das oben genannte Thema führen;
-Förderung und Unterstützung von Initiativen von Schülern, die ihre Gleichaltrigen mit Migrationshintergrund befähigen, ihre Erfahrungen und Herausforderungen im Bildungsbereich mit der Schulgemeinschaft zu teilen und so das Bewusstsein für die Probleme zu schärfen, denen sich Schüler mit Migrationshintergrund im Alltag möglicherweise gegenübersehen.
- eine engere Beziehung zwischen den Migrantenschülern der Gemeinden und der Schulgemeinschaft aufbauen.
Zuschüsse
Abhängig von der Planung und dem Umfang der Aktivitäten ist es möglich, einen Antrag auf ein Seeds for Integration-Stipendium unter drei möglichen Säulen zu stellen:
Säule 1 - Bis zu 1000 oder 4000 Euro werden gewährt:
- Basisinitiativen von Schülern der Sekundarstufe;
- auf lokaler, regionaler oder nationaler Ebene tätige Studentengewerkschaften, die eine kreative Idee haben, wie die Integration von Schülern und Studenten mit Flüchtlings- und Migrationshintergrund unterstützt werden kann. Der Betrag richtet sich nach der Größe der Gewerkschaft und der Projektidee.
Zulässige Bewerber:
- Schüler der Sekundarstufe, die in einem europäischen Land studieren;
- Ihr Team muss mindestens 3 Mitglieder haben, alle Schüler der Sekundarstufe. Die Person, die mit OBESSU kommunizieren wird, muss mindestens mittlere Englischkenntnisse haben;
- Der Antragsteller sollte über ein Bankkonto für die Zahlung in Euro verfügen (Bankkonto des Studentenwerks oder ein Bankkonto einer anderen Organisation, die das Team in der Verwaltung unterstützt).;
- Die Initiative muss bis Ende 2019 abgeschlossen sein.
Spezifische Zulassungskriterien pro Zuschussskala:
Kleine Zuschüsse
- Alle Mitglieder des Teams sollten dieselbe weiterführende Schule besuchen. Andernfalls muss die vorgeschlagene Initiative eine gemeinsame Aktivität von zwei oder mehr Schulen sein;

Größere Zuschüsse
- Der Antrag muss von einem OBESSU-Mitglied, einem Kandidaten oder einer Partnerorganisation eingereicht werden;
- Die Initiative muss auf nationaler Ebene umgesetzt werden.
Deadline: Bewerbungen werden fortlaufend angenommen. Projektvorschläge werden das ganze Jahr über evaluiert.
Säule 2 - Bis zu 7500 Euro gewährt an:
- OBESSU Mitglied;
- Kandidatenorganisation;
- Partnerorganisation
daran interessiert, das Projekt "Seeds for Integration" zu fördern, damit auch Studenten, die in ländlichen Gebieten und Kleinstädten leben, wissen, worum es im Projekt geht, und die sich bietenden Möglichkeiten nutzen.
Nationale Schülergewerkschaften, die sich für diese Säule bewerben, müssen ein sogenanntes Inklusionsarbeitspaket (IWP) durchführen, um das Projekt auf nationaler Ebene zu fördern und zur Verbesserung der Qualität der Bewerbungen beizutragen.
Aufgaben
- Organisation mindestens einer großen oder mehrerer kleinerer Veranstaltungen für insgesamt 100 Studenten, die das Projekt „Seeds for Integration“ fördern;
- Befähigung von Studierenden, die sich für eine Förderung bewerben möchten, durch Unterstützung während des Prozesses;
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Unterlagen (Werbematerialien, Aufforderung zur Einreichung von Bewerbungen, Leitfaden zum Bewerbungsformular, Bewerbungsformular) für jeden Schüler zugänglich sind.
Zulässige Bewerber
- Any OBESSU Member, Candidate or Affiliate Organisation which representative person, in charge of communicating with OBESSU, has at least medium level English language knowledge (level B1/B2).

Säule 3 - Bis zu 10.000 Euro gewährt:
- Schülerorganisation der Sekundarstufe (formell oder nicht formell / auf lokaler, regionaler oder nationaler Ebene tätig);
- Partnerschaftsprojekte zwischen Schülern der Sekundarstufe und Studenten implizieren die Zusammenarbeit zwischen ESU- und OBESSU-Organisationen
- Interesse an der Verbesserung der Position von Flüchtlings- und Migrantenstudenten in ihrem Land.
Aufgaben
- eine Untersuchung über die Inklusivität der Lernumgebung durchführen;
- Organisation einer Kampagne, um die Zahl der Studenten mit Flüchtlings- / Migrationshintergrund zu erhöhen;
- Zusammenbringen von Schülern aus Aufnahmegemeinschaften und Menschen mit Flüchtlings- und Migrationshintergrund durch verschiedene Sportveranstaltungen;
- Organisation einer Kunstausstellung zur Darstellung der Realität von Flüchtlings- und Migrantengemeinschaften;
- Vorbereitung des Musik- / Food-Festivals für die lokale Gemeinde
