The JM Jazz World Orchestra is a project launched by Jeunesses Musicales International giving the opportunity to young musicians from all around the world to take part in training sessions, workshops and finally in a concert tour as a member of the JM Jazz Orchestra.

The session will be in summer 2023. JM Jazz World sessions begin with a week of rehearsals, followed by a 7-10 day concert/festival tour.
The project will be under the artistic leadership of Luis Bonilla (USA), a California raised, Costa Rican trombonist, composer and arranger.

The programme is open to musicians between the ages of 18 and 26 playing: saxophone, trombone, trumpet, horn, tuba, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, piano and vocals and if you improvise, all other instruments are welcome. It is essential that. they read sheet music, but the most important thing is their love for jazz!

How to apply
Participants should complete the application form, attaching the following documents:
- a full CV with information about faculty of music, academy and school of music, and experience acquired as a jazz musician;
- a written recommendation from a music teacher professor or similar;
- a signed statement from either your parents, yourself, university, school or a JMI National Member or Associate Section, stating that their travel costs to and from the tour will be covered; 
- links to videos with them performing at least 2 different pieces: a theme and an improvisation. The candidates need to be clearly heard, with an important soloist part;
- a copy of their passport.

Le JM Jazz World Orchestra est un projet lancé par les Jeunesses Musicales Internationales qui donne l'opportunité à de jeunes musiciens du monde entier de participer à des sessions de formation, des ateliers et finalement à une tournée de concerts en tant que membre du JM Jazz Orchestra.

• Un CV complet avec des informations sur la faculté de musique, l'académie et l'école de musique, et l'expérience acquise en tant que musicien de jazz

• Une déclaration signée par vos parents, vous-même, l'université, l'école ou un membre national ou une section associée des JMI, indiquant que leurs frais de voyage à destination et en provenance de la tournée seront pris en charge

Hogyan lehet jelentkezni?

A jelentkezőknek ki kell tölteniük a jelentkezési lapot, amelyhez csatolniuk kell az alábbi dokumentumokat:
- teljes önéletrajz, amelyen fel kell tüntetni a zenei intézményt, ahol a pályázó tanult/tanul, és a jazz zenészként szerzett tapasztalatokat;

Orchestra Internaţională de Jazz JM este un proiect lansat de Jeunesses Musicales International care oferă posibilitatea tinerilor muzicieni din întreaga lume să ia parte la sesiuni de formare, ateliere și în cele din urmă să participe la un turneu de concerte în calitate de membri ai Orchestrei de Jazz JM.

3. Una declaración firmada de cualquiera de los padres, en representación y dirigido a la institución, escuela o miembro nacional JMI o Sección Asociado, afirmando que los gastos de viaje a / desde Croacia serán cubiertos por el propio participante.

Transparency International School on Integrity is an annual state-of-the-art anti-corruption and accountability training for future leaders. Școala de integritate Transparency International este un program anual de formare de ultimă generație în domeniul anticorupției și al responsabilității, destinat viitorilor lideri. The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to approximately 1,000 undergraduates, graduates, and PhD students of all subjects and nationalities per year, who are pursuing their degree at universities, universities of applied sciences (‘Fachhochschulen’), or universities of the arts (‘Kunsthochschulen”).

The European University Institute provides advanced academic training to PhD students. The EUI carries out research in a European perspective (fundamental research, comparative research and Community research).

Doctoral programmes are offered in the following Departments:

   the Department of History and Civilisation

   the Department of Economics

   the Department of Law

   the Department of Political and Social Sciences.

Research students can study for periods from one to three years. Three years for the Institute's doctorate; one year's study in comparative, European and international law (the Ll.M.); or in exceptional cases, one or two years' doctoral training at the Institute before defending a thesis in the home university of the student.

Candidates should have an adequate knowledge of two official languages of the European Union. They should propose a specific thesis project that should be within the research areas covered by the Institute. Guidelines on how to set out the research proposal can be found on the (reverse side) of the application form.

Institutul Universitar European (IUE) propune cursuri avansate de formare  pentru doctoranzi. IUE desfăşoară activități de cercetare dintr-o perspectivă europeană (cercetare fundamentală, cercetare comparată şi cercetare comunitară).

Programele de doctorat sunt oferite în următoarele departamente:

Studenţii pot studia pentru o perioadă cuprinsă între un an și trei ani. Trei ani pentru pregătirea doctoratului în cadrul Institutului; un an de studiu în drept comparat, european şi internaţional (LI.M.); sau, în cazuri excepţionale, un an sau doi ani de pregatire pentru doctorat în cadrul Institutului înaintea susţinerii tezei la universitatea de provenienţă a studentului.

The European University Institute provides advanced academic training to PhD students. The EUI carries out research in a European perspective (fundamental research, comparative research and Community research).

PhD programmes

Doctoral programmes are offered in the following Departments:

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution (HEI) may carry out within the Erasmus+ Programme.

The award of an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education is a pre-requisite for all higher education institutions (HEIs) located in one of the countries listed below and want to apply and participate in learning mobility of individuals, cooperation for innovation and good practices among organisations and institutions and/or support to policy development projects under the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 Programme.

For HEIs located in third countries not associated to the Programme, the ECHE is not required, and the quality framework will be established through inter-institutional agreements between HEIs.

Eligible applicants

World Nomads is inviting aspiring content creators, of any nationality, to a 3-4 day Content Creation Trip where they will create content on assignment to meet a supplied brief.
The trip must be within a 4-hour flight of the winner’s home city. Destinations and content to be shot on the trip will be workshopped and agreed upon in consultation with the mentors and World Nomads.

Eligibility
You need to be 18 or over at the time of the application deadline (October 16, 2022).

World Nomads invite les jeunes créateurs de contenu, quelle que soit leur nationalité, à participer à un voyage de création de contenu de 3 à 4 jours au cours duquel ils créeront du contenu sur commande pour répondre à un briefing fourni.
Le voyage doit se dérouler dans un rayon de 4 heures de vol de la ville d'origine du gagnant. Les destinations et le contenu à tourner pendant le voyage seront déterminés en concertation avec les mentors et World Nomads.
 

Eligibilité
Vous devez avoir 18 ans ou plus au moment de la date limite de dépôt des candidatures (16 octobre 2022).
 

Comment postuler

• Partagez une image, une vidéo, un blog ou un article de vlog montrant votre créativité et votre passion pour le voyage ; 
• Remplissez le formulaire, créez un lien vers votre contenu (accessible au public) et dites pourquoi vous devriez gagner (150 mots maximum) ; 
• Vous ne pouvez soumettre qu'une seule candidature ;
• Les candidatures peuvent être soumises par une équipe de 2 personnes maximum (veuillez noter que les prix resteront les mêmes s'ils sont attribués à une candidature individuelle ou d'équipe et que les deux gagnants doivent être disponibles pour effectuer le voyage de création de contenu) ;
• La soumission doit être en anglais ou comporter des sous-titres en anglais.

Prix

Les 4 lauréats des bourses d'études recevront chacun des prix d'une valeur de 6 335 USD (environ 6 400 €) :

• Un budget de voyage de 2 500 USD (environ 2 530 €) ;
• Un mentorat professionnel de Nomadasaurus ;
• Un kit caméra et objectif Sony ZV-E10 sans miroir pour Vlog ;
• Un équipement audio de RØDE Audio ;
• Un cours de voyage numérique Bright Trip ;
• Une assurance voyage.

Chaque gagnant devra utiliser son budget de voyage pour réserver un voyage de 3 à 4 jours, au cours duquel il créera du contenu sur commande.

È possibile presentare una sola candidatura. Le candidature possono essere presentate da un team di massimo 2 persone (si prega di notare che i premi rimarranno invariati se assegnati a un singolo o a un team ed entrambi i vincitori devono essere disponibili a completare il Content Creation Trip).
Le candidature devono essere in inglese o includere sottotitoli in inglese.

Premi
I 4 vincitori delle borse di studio riceveranno ciascuno un premio del valore di 6.335 dollari USA:

Călătoria trebuie să se desfășoare la o distanță de 4 ore de zbor de orașul de origine al câștigătorului. Destinațiile și conținutul care urmează să fie filmat în timpul călătoriei vor fi analizate și convenite de comun acord cu mentorii și World Nomads.

• Completează formularul, creează un link către conținutul tău. (accesibil publicului) și spune-ne de ce ar trebui să câștigi (în 150 de cuvinte sau mai puțin);
• Poți trimite o singură candidatură
• Înscrierile pot fi trimise de o echipă formată din maximum 2 persoane (te rugăm să reții că premiile vor rămâne aceleași dacă sunt acordate unei înscrieri individuale sau unei echipe și că ambii câștigători trebuie să fie disponibili pentru a finaliza Călătoria de creare de conținut).
• Propunerea trebuie să fie în limba engleză sau să includă subtitrări în limba engleză.

The summer school at the centre for media and pluralism and media freedom will provide the opportunity for 20 journalists and media practitioners to learn about the latest developments regarding the new eu digital framework affecting professional journalism and the media sector, as well as to share their experiences, ideas and points of view.

The summer school will take place from 26-30 June 2023 in Florence, Italy.
The working language of the summer school is english.

Who can apply
Early and mid-career journalists and other stakeholders in the news industry are invited to apply.

Up to twenty scholarships will be offered, covering travel expenses (up to 350 eur), accommodation for 5 nights, tuition fees, all course materials, access to the eui library, wi-fi access at the eui, social activities, lunches and coffee breaks on lecture days.
