The European Economic and Social Committee is organising the 15^th edition of "Your Europe, Your Say", a simulated youth plenary session allowing first time and other young voters to debate and make recommendations which will contribute to the EESC's pre-election activities as well as give their input to the EESC's resolution on the European elections.



The event will take place in Brussels on 6 March 2024 under the theme "Stand up for democracy & speak up for Europe: Youth priorities for the next EU legislative term”.

Who can apply

- secondary school or university students, or youth delegates active in civil society from 16 to 25 years of age;

- be located in an EU Member State or in one of the candidate countries and UK;

- with good knowledge of spoken and comprehended English.

26 selected applicants will be invited to the event. Accommodation for 2 nights as well as a return journey between the country of residence and Brussels will be covered by the organisers. Comitetul Economic și Social European organizează cea de-a 14-a ediție a "Europa ta, părerea ta", o simulare a sesiunii plenare pentru tineri, care permite elevilor de liceu din orice stat membru al UE și din țările candidate oficiale la UE (Albania, Moldova, Muntenegru, Macedonia de Nord, Serbia, Turcia și Ucraina) să se informeze despre CESE și rolul său, să facă schimb de opinii și să propună recomandări pe un subiect specific. Tema din acest an este "Dialogurile tinerilor despre democrație", pentru a crește gradul de conștientizare cu privire la valorile democratice, încurajând în același timp gândirea critică și participarea tinerilor.

Lucrând în grupuri mici în cadrul atelierelor, într-un format de negociere și dezbatere pentru a ajunge la un consens, evenimentul pentru tineri va sensibiliza publicul cu privire la modul în care se ajunge la acorduri sociale între grupuri cu interese diferite. Aceste ateliere de lucru oferă, de asemenea, ocazia de a aborda subiecte provocatoare conexe, cum ar fi libertatea de exprimare, solidaritatea între generații și justiția sau impactul procesului de elaborare a politicilor UE asupra tinerilor.

Studenții participanți vor veni cu recomandări care vor fi prezentate instituțiilor europene și factorilor de decizie și de politică europeană la nivel înalt.

Condiții pentru candidatura unei școli:

Pentru a aplica, o școală trebuie:

• să fie o școală secundară sau o școală de formare profesională cu elevi cu vârste cuprinse între 16 și 18 ani;
• să fie situată într-un stat membru al UE sau într-una dintre cele șapte țări candidate, sau să fie una dintre școlile europene cu sediul la Bruxelles;
• să fie recunoscută de autoritățile din domeniul educației din țara lor;
• să dispună de un computer (pentru a citi și imprima fișiere PDF), cu acces nelimitat la internet și un e-mail oficial;
• să aleagă un profesor și trei elevi care se pot exprima în limba engleză;
• să fie de acord cu procedura de selecție care presupune o tragere la sorți (prin intermediul unei aplicații electronice) dintre școlile candidate din fiecare țară, organizată de CESE;
• să fie de acord ca cei trei elevi selectați și un profesor supraveghetor să participe la eveniment în timpul orelor de curs;
• să se asigure că fiecare dintre cei trei elevi selectați dispune de un calculator/laptop sau de o tabletă cu acces la internet
• să analizeze și să discute în clasă subiectul evenimentului înainte de evenimentul virtual;
• să găzduiască un membru al CESE pentru o sesiune de informare privind UE și CESE, în mod provizoriu între ianuarie și februarie (cheltuielile de deplasare ale membrului CESE vor fi suportate de CESE).
• să informeze elevii selectați, colegii lor de clasă și, eventual, toți elevii școlii cu privire la posibilitatea de a urmări pregătirile pentru eveniment și evenimentul în sine pe Facebook, Twitter și Instagram. 

Termenul limită pentru înscrierea școlilor: 6 decembrie 2022.

Se va accepta un singur formular de înscriere pentru fiecare școală.

După închiderea înscrierilor, va fi aleasă o școală din fiecare stat membru al UE, împreună cu o școală din fiecare dintre țările candidate.

Școlile selectate vor alege apoi trei elevi studenți aflați în penultimul an de orice tip de învățământ secundar (în vârstă de 16 ani) pentru a le reprezenta, precum și un profesor care îi va însoți.  Aceste persoane vor trebui să se poată exprima în limba engleză.

Din motive de egalitate de gen, elevii selectați nu trebuie să fie toți de același sex (cu excepția cazului în care provin din școli unisex).

Școlile trebuie să se asigure că și elevii cu dizabilități pot lua parte la eveniment. Evenimentul va avea loc online între 23 și 24 martie 2023, în Bruxelles, Belgia.

Toate procedurile se vor desfășura în limba engleză.

El Comité Económico y Social Europeo está organziando la quinta edición de "Tu Europa, tu voz" una sesión plenaria simulada que permite que los niños de escuelas secundarias de los 28 Estados miembros de la UE vean cómo se realiza la toma de decisiones el CESE en relación a una materia específica. El tema de este año es "Una ciudadanía europea activa".

Para solicitarlo la escuela:
- Deberá estar situada en un Estado miembro de la UE.
- Ser reconocida por las autoridades educativas en uno o varios Estados miembros.
- Tener un ordenador (que pueda abrir e imprimir archivos PDF), con acceso a Internet y correo electrónico.
- Elegir un profesor y tres estudiantes en su último año de educación secundaria (16 años), que puede expresarse en inglés o francés.
- Considerar y debatir el tema del ejercicio de simulación en clase antes de venir a Bruselas.
- Acoger a un miembro del CESE para una sesión de información sobre la UE y de la Comisión entre mediados de febrero y mediados de marzo de 2015 (gastos de viaje del miembro del CESE a pagar por el Comité). Otras clases de la misma escuela y/o de otras escuelas pueden ser invitadas a esta reunión con los miembros del CESE.

La fecha límite para registrarse: finalizó el 19 de enero de 2015 (CET).

Después de que la inscripción se haya cerrado, serán elegidas las escuelas que participen en el ejercicio de simulación. Las escuelas seleccionadas  deberán a continuación dar los nombres de tres estudiantes de educación secundaria (16 años) que los representen, así como un profesor que los acompañare.
Estas personas tendrán que ser capaces de expresarse en inglés o francés.

The European Economic and Social Committee is organising the 11^th edition of "Your Europe, Your Say", a simulated youth plenary session allowing secondary school pupils from any EU Member State and from the official EU candidates countries (Albania, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey) to learn about the EESC and its role, and to exchange views and propose recommendations on a specific subject. The theme for this year is "Our climate, our future!" and will voice young people's concerns on climate change.

This year's YEYS will simulate an international COP conference: students will be asked to represent a country and negotiate with each other, in order to come up with recommendations to stop climate change.
These recommendations will be submitted to international environment policymakers and discussed during conferences around Europe along the year.
During YEYS the students will also be put in contact with international youth organisations who will help them translate these recommendations into practical measures and make their voice heard.

How to apply
To apply a school must:
- be a secondary- level school, of any type, with pupils of 16-18 years of age;
- be located in an EU Member State or in one of the candidate countries;
- be recognised by the education authorities in one or more Member States or candidate countries;
- have a computer (to read and print PDF files), with internet access and email;
- choose one teacher and three pupils in their penultimate year of any type of secondary education, including vocational training schools (aged 16 years) who are able to express themselves in English;
- consider and discuss the topic of the event in class before coming to Brussels;
- host one EESC Member for an information session on the EU and the Committee, to one or more classes of the selected school, (travel expenses of the EESC member to be paid by the EESC).
- inform the selected pupils, their classmates and possibly all pupils at the school of the possibility to follow the preparations for the event and the event itself on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. 

Deadline for schools to register: 18 November 2019.
Only one registration form per school will be accepted.

After registration has closed, one school from each of the EU Member States, along with a school from each of the candidate countries, will be chosen.
The selected schools will then choose three students pupils in their penultimate year of any type of secondary education (aged 16 years) to represent them, as well as a teacher who will accompany them. 
These people will have to be able to express themselves in English.

For reasons of gender equality, the pupils selected should preferably include at least one boy and one girl.
Schools must ensure that disabled pupils are also able to take part in the event.

The event will take place in Brussels at the headquarters of the European Economic and Social committee from 19 to 20 March 2020.
The EESC will pay the travel and accommodation expenses of the students and accompanying teacher.

Comment postuler

Les candidatures doivent démontrer une utilisation exceptionnelle du multimédia dans un contexte d'apprentissage, notamment des vidéos, audios, simulations, applications, podcasts, vlogs, animations et toute autre excellente utilisation du multimédia éducatif. Les candidatures d'étudiants, d'enseignants, d'écoles, d'installations de production, d'universités, de sociétés de formation, d'agences et de toute autre personne travaillant à la création et à l'utilisation du multimédia éducatif sont les bienvenues.

Le concours peut porter sur tous les sujets possibles.

Les participants peuvent soumettre jusqu'à 12 contributions.

Tout matériel multimédia doit avoir été créé après le 1er janvier 2020. Bien entendu, la contribution peut inclure ou se composer de matériel plus ancien.

El Premio MEDEA para los productores profesionales de medios educativos.

Premio Especial para la promoción del Año de la Ciudadanía Europea 2013

Este premio estará dedicado a los trabajos o producciones que utilizan claramente los medios de comunicación para fomentar la concienciación y promover la ciudadacía europea y los derechos de sus ciudadanos.
En este premio se incluyen todas las producciones de los medios de comunicación educativos, no importa en qué formato se presenten, ya sea formato web, vídeo, juegos o presentaciones interactivas, que ilustren, documenten o promuevan el tema del año europeo.

Premio Especial del Jurado especial de MEDEA
Los jueces podrán, a su discreción, proponer un premio especial a un enfoque o producción en reconocimiento a la innovación excepcional en el diseño pedagógico o técnico que aporta.

Pudo ser presentado hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2013 (medianoche) cualquier material multimedia o programa que fuera creado después del 1 de enero de 2010, y cuyo fin fuera su uso en la educación formal y no formal así como en las formaciones.

The MEDEA Award for User-Generated Educational Media
This award honours the best entry submitted by teachers, students, learners, parents, professors, individual or organisational representatives in higher education, or continuing education and/or training.

The MEDEA Award for Professionally Produced Educational Media
This award is awarded to the best professional educational media product, resource, tool or service produced or managed by a professional company or semi-professional production unit such as a broadcaster, professional multimedia producer or publisher, professional web design company, audiovisual or media department in larger institutions or organisations such as universities, government departments, companies, multinational institutions and organisations, etc where the production is aimed at the higher education or continuing education and/or training sector.

The special MEDEA Jury
The judges may, at their discretion, present a special award to an approach or production in recognition of exceptional innovation in pedagogic or technical design.

In order to provide law students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field, the European Law Students' Association (ELSA), has launched the 12th edition of the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition in cooperation with the Council of Europe. 

The competition, which simulates the procedure of complaints to the European Court of Human Rights, is open to teams of 2-4 students coming from the same university. Students should be from ELSA countries as well as from countries that are members of the Council of Europe.

The simulation of a court trial is often divided into two phases: the written phase and the oral phase. In the written part students, based on a fictive case, draft submissions or memorials on behalf of the applicant and the respondent.

Afin de donner aux étudiants en droit l'occasion d'acquérir une expérience pratique dans ce domaine, l'Association européenne des étudiants en droit (ELSA) a lancé la 9e édition du concours européen de plaidoiries simulés des droits de l'homme en coopération avec le Conseil de l'Europe. 

Le concours, qui simule la procédure de plainte auprès de la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme, est ouvert aux équipes de 2 à 4 étudiants provenant de la même université. Les étudiants doivent être issus des pays ELSA ainsi que des pays membres du Conseil de l'Europe.

La simulation d'un procès est souvent divisée en deux phases : la phase écrite et la phase orale. Dans la partie écrite, les étudiants, sur la base d'un cas fictif, rédigent des conclusions ou des mémoires au nom du demandeur et du défendeur.

La phase écrite mène à la phase orale qui consiste en des simulations d'audiences de tribunal où les étudiants représentent le demandeur et le défendeur. Les équipes examineront une affaire fictive et rédigeront des conclusions écrites pour chaque partie.

Les équipes seront évaluées sur la base de leurs admissions écrites. Les 20 meilleures équipes participeront aux tours préliminaires et 2 équipes gagnantes s'affronteront lors de la finale européenne à la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme à Strasbourg, en France.

Il y a des frais de participation initiaux de 100 € par participant ainsi que des frais pour le tour régional.

Il y aura trois tours régionaux du concours organisés par les groupes locaux et/ou nationaux de l'ELSA.

Um Jurastudenten die Möglichkeit zu geben, praktische Erfahrungen in diesem Bereich zu sammeln, hat die European Law students' Association (ELSA) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Europarat den Europäischen Menschenrechts-Moot-Court-Wettbewerb ins Leben gerufen.

Der Wettbewerb, der das Verfahren für Beschwerden beim Europäischen Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte simuliert, ist offen für Teams von 2-4 Studenten, die von derselben Universität kommen. Die Studenten sollten sowohl aus ELSA-Ländern als auch aus Ländern kommen, die Mitglieder des Europarates sind.

Die Simulation eines Gerichtsverfahrens wird oft in zwei Phasen unterteilt: die schriftliche Phase und die mündliche Phase. Im schriftlichen Teil entwerfen Studierende auf der Grundlage eines fiktiven Falles Stellungnahmen oder Gedenkschriften im Namen des Antragstellers und des Antragsgegners.

Die schriftliche Phase mündet in die mündliche Phase, d.h. in Simulationen von Gerichtsverhandlungen, bei denen die Studierenden den Antragsteller und den Beklagten vertreten. Die Teams untersuchen einen fiktiven Fall und entwerfen schriftliche Eingaben für jede Partei.

Die Teams werden auf der Grundlage ihrer schriftlichen Eingaben bewertet und die besten nehmen an den regionalen Runden teil. Die besten 18 Teams nehmen an der letzten mündlichen Runde beim europäischen Finale am Europäischen Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte in Straßburg, Frankreich, teil.

Es wird eine anfängliche Teilnahmegebühr von 100 € pro Teilnehmer sowie die Gebühr für die Regionalrunde erhoben.

Es wird drei regionale Runden des Wettbewerbs geben, die von lokalen und/oder nationalen ELSA-Gruppen ausgerichtet werden.

Simularea unui proces în instanță este de obicei structurată în două faze: procedura scrisă şi procedura orală. Privitor la procedura scrisă, bazată pe un caz fictiv, studenţii redactează drafturi de întâmpinări în numele reclamantului şi al părţii adverse.

Procedura orală urmează procedurii scrise ceea ce se concretizează prin simulări de audieri în cadrul cărora studenţii reprezintă ambele părţi. Echipele vor analiza un caz fictiv şi vor redacta drafturi pentru fiecare parte.

Echipele vor fi evaluate pe baza drafturilor redactate, cele mai bune 20 de echipe vor participa la runde preliminare și 2 echipe câștigătoare se vor înfrunta în runda finală la finala europeană de la Curtea Europeană pentru Drepturile Omului de la Strasbourg, Franţa.

Taxă inițială de participare este de 80 de euro pentru fiecare participant. 

Concursul are trei runde regionale găzduite de centre locale și/sau grupuri naționale ELSA.

Fiecare echipă va fi repartizată aleatoriu într-o rundă regională:

The European Disability Forum, under the 2023 motto “Breaking Barriers - Stories and voices of women and girls with disabilities” is inviting all EU/EEA citizens or residents from all ages to join the competition and submit one image that breaks down stereotypes and preconceptions surrounding women with disabilities from diverse cultural, background, and/or ethnic contexts.

The competition is open to all who wish to contribute to portraying the empowerment of women and girls with disabilities around the world. 

Who can participate

The competition is open to EU/EEA citizens or residents from all ages and there is no entry fee. 

How to apply

Participants must submit:

• A short description in English including the author’s name, and the city and country where the photo was taken.
• A signed copy of the Rights Authorization. Two signatures are needed, one from the person who took the picture and one from the person(s) appearing IN the picture
• One original single high-resolution photo (300dpi) with image description or one original single artistic representation (comics and drawings) with image description telling the story.

Each participant may submit one entry. Participant should be an individual and not an organisation.

Der Wettbewerb steht allen offen, die einen Beitrag zur Darstellung der Selbstbestimmung von Frauen und Mädchen mit Behinderungen auf der ganzen Welt leisten wollen.

Wer kann teilnehmen

Der Wettbewerb ist offen für EU / EWR-Bürger oder Einwohner jeden Alters und es gibt keine Teilnahmegebühr.

Wie kann man sich bewerben

Alle Teilnehmer müssen einreichen:

• Eine kurze Beschreibung (auf Englisch) sowie den Namen des Autors und den Ort (Stadt und Land), an dem das Bild aufgenommen wurde.
• Eine unterzeichnete Kopie der Rechteerlaubnis. Es werden zwei Unterschriften benötigt, eine von der Person, die das Bild aufgenommen hat, und eine von den Personen, die auf dem Bild erscheinen.
• Ein einzelnes hochauflösendes Originalfoto (300dpi) mit Bildbeschreibung oder eine einzelne künstlerische Darstellung (Comics und Zeichnungen) mit Bildbeschreibung, die die Geschichte erzählt.

Jeder Teilnehmer kann einen Beitrag einreichen. Der Teilnehmer sollte eine Einzelperson und keine Organisation sein.

Forumul European al Dizabilității, sub motto-ul 2023 "Breaking Barriers - Povești și voci ale femeilor și fetelor cu dizabilități", invită toți cetățenii sau rezidenții UE/SEE de toate vârstele să se înscrie în competiție și să trimită o imagine care să elimine stereotipurile și preconcepțiile legate de femeile cu dizabilități din diverse contexte culturale, medii și/sau etnice.

Concursul este deschis tuturor celor care doresc să contribuie la portretizarea emancipării femeilor și fetelor cu dizabilități din întreaga lume.

Cine poate participa

Concursul se adresează cetățenilor UE/SEE sau rezidenților de toate vârstele și nu există taxă de participare.

Cum poți să candidezi

Participanții trebuie să trimită:

• O scurtă descriere în limba engleză care să includă numele autorului, precum și orașul și țara în care a fost făcută fotografia.
• O copie semnată a Autorizației privind drepturile de autor. Sunt necesare două semnături, una de la persoana care a făcut fotografia și una de la persoana (persoanele) care apare (apar) în fotografie.
• O singură fotografie, originală de înaltă rezoluție (300 dpi) cu descrierea imaginii sau o singură reprezentare artistică originală (benzi desenate și desene) cu descrierea imaginii care să spună povestea persoanei (persoanelor).

Fiecare participant poate trimite o fotografie. Participantul trebuie să fie o persoană și nu o organizație.

Out of the 20 finalists, the Jury will select the 3 final nominees.The three final nominees will receive:

Europe on Track is a youth-led project of AEGEE, run by young volunteers who aim to raise awareness, to create a space for discussion and to capture the opinions of youth in Europe on important social issues. This year through the topic “Digital Voices, European Choices: Youth Impacting Tomorrow” the focus will be on digital awareness, digital activism, opportunities and issues social media and new technologies bring for the European youth. As well as the chances and dangers of digital tools such as how social media affects our political, social and personal lives.

Ten ambassadors in 3 teams will travel by train across Europe, while one team will, in line with the topic, take an online route. 

All Ambassadors need to be fully available (in person) from 2nd April 2024 to 8th May 2024 and for online preparation around two hours per week in March. It will be great if all ambassadors could also be available for the 4 days long Final Conference after the 8th of May (exact dates to be determined).

Transportation, accommodation, food, trip from and to your residency, activities related to the project and local transportation are all covered by AEGEE.

Europe on Track ist ein Projekt von AEGEE, das von jungen Freiwilligen durchgeführt wird und das darauf abzielt, das Bewusstsein zu schärfen, einen Raum für Diskussionen zu schaffen und die Meinungen der Jugend in Europa zu wichtigen sozialen Fragen zu erfassen. In diesem Jahr liegt der Schwerpunkt mit dem Thema "Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und Istanbul-Konvention" auf der Aufklärung der europäischen Jugend über geschlechtsspezifische Diskriminierung, integrative und sichere Räume, Zustimmung und sexuelle Belästigung durch nicht-formale Bildungsmethoden aus einer intersektionellen Perspektive. Ziel ist es auch, Meinungen darüber zu sammeln, wie sich das Geschlecht auf das tägliche Leben, die Sicherheit und die Lebenschancen junger Menschen auswirkt, und wie junge Menschen aller Geschlechter Akteure des Wandels sein und sich für die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter einsetzen können.

Sechs Botschafterinnen und Botschafter in 3 Teams werden einen Monat lang mit dem Zug durch 21 Städte in Europa reisen, um Workshops abzuhalten, junge Menschen zu interviewen und Veranstaltungen in Zusammenarbeit mit 200 Freiwilligen zu organisieren. Darüber hinaus werden 2 Online-Botschafterinnen und -Botschafter im gleichen Zeitraum Online-Workshops durchführen, um noch mehr Jugendliche auf dem ganzen Kontinent zu erreichen!

Die 9. Ausgabe findet vom 26. März bis zum 8. Mai 2022 statt.

Europe on Track è un progetto di AEGEE, gestito da giovani volontari che mirano a sensibilizzare, creare uno spazio di discussione e catturare le opinioni dei giovani in Europa su importanti questioni sociali. Quest'anno, attraverso il tema "Uguaglianza di genere e Convenzione di Istanbul", il focus sarà quello di educare i giovani europei sulla discriminazione di genere, spazi inclusivi e sicuri, consenso e molestie sessuali attraverso metodologie di educazione non formale da una prospettiva intersezionale. L'obiettivo è anche quello di raccogliere opinioni su come il genere influenza la vita quotidiana, la sicurezza e le opportunità di vita dei giovani, e come i giovani di tutti i generi possono essere attori del cambiamento e lottare per la parità di genere.

Sei ambasciatori in 3 squadre viaggeranno in treno attraverso 20 città d'Europa durante un mese per tenere workshop, intervistare giovani e organizzare eventi in collaborazione con 200 volontari.
Inoltre, 2 ambasciatori online svolgeranno workshop online nello stesso periodo per raggiungere ancora più giovani in tutto il continente!

La nona edizione si svolgerà dal 26 marzo all'8 maggio 2022.

Toți ambasadorii trebuie să fie complet disponibili (în persoană) în perioada 2 aprilie 2024 - 8 mai 2024, iar pentru pregătirea online, aproximativ două ore pe săptămână în luna martie. Este de preferat ca toți ambasadorii să fie disponibili și pentru Conferința finală de 4 zile de după 8 mai (datele exacte urmează să fie stabilite).

Europe on Track – це молодіжний проект AEGEE, яким керують молоді волонтери, які мають на меті підвищити обізнаність, створити простір для обговорення та зафіксувати думки молоді в Європі щодо важливих соціальних питань. Цього року в рамках теми «Гендерна рівність та Стамбульська конвенція» фокус буде зосереджено на навчанні європейської молоді щодо гендерної дискримінації, інклюзивних та безпечних просторів, згоди та сексуальних домагань за допомогою методологій неформальної освіти з точки зору міжнародного рівня. Мета також полягає в тому, щоб зібрати думки про те, як гендер впливає на повсякденне життя, безпеку та життєві можливості молодих людей, і як молоді люди будь-якої статі можуть бути акторами змін і прагнути до гендерної рівності.

Протягом одного місяця шість послів у 3 командах подорожуватимуть поїздом 20 містами Європи, щоб проводити семінари, опитувати молодих людей та організовувати заходи у співпраці з 200 волонтерами.

Більше того, 2 онлайн-амбасадори проведуть онлайн-семінари в той же період, щоб охопити ще більше молоді по всьому континенту!

Покривають видатки для амбасадорів:

• Видатки на транспорт протягом подорожі
• Проживання та харчування в кожному місті

How does it work

Six ambassadors in 3 teams will travel by train across 21 cities in Europe during one month to deliver workshops, interview young people and organise events in cooperation with 200 volunteers. Moreover, 2 online ambassadors will carry out online workshops in the same period to reach out to even more youth all over the continent!

The 8^th edition will take place from 8^th April to 6^th May 2021.

Eligibility criteria

• Aged between 18 and 30 years old
• Applicants from all over the world but European-based candidates are strongly encouraged
• Be responsible, committed and reliable
• Be open-minded, proactive and initiative-taker

Role of the ambassadors

• To deliver workshops, interview young people, and meet with local stakeholders and political representatives in each of the cities they visit
• Throughout the journey, to prepare written (e.g. blog posts) and graphic (e.g. pictures and videos) material for the social media and external channels of Europe on Track.
• At the end, to carry out an evaluation to help out with measuring the impact of the project
• To participate in an online conference which will take place after the end of the journey

Covered expenses for (physical) ambassadors:

• Transportation during the route
• Accommodation and food in each stop
• Your trip from home to the training location and from the evaluation location back home can be reimbursed under certain conditions
• All activities related to the project and local transportation

Not covered

• Visa fees – the team will try to lower the costs by providing you with invitation letters
• Health insurance
• Pocket money – based on previous experiences, an amount of 200€ (+/- depending on personal spending habits) will be necessary for the trip.

The Climate Science Olympiad is inviting young people, under 25 years old, from around the world, to take part in the Climate Science Olympiad 2023, find a solution for the world's biggest climate change problem and become climate leaders of tomorrow. 

What it is

The Climate Science Olympiad will take place online, and consists of four rounds: Qualifier, Quarterfinal, Semi finals and Finals.

The first two rounds are a multiple-choice quiz. In the last two rounds a detailed proposal is required to solve a real-world climate problem. 

Problems will cover 7 different topics: clean energy, agriculture, water resources, biodiversity, sustainable economy, sustainable transportation, and global development. 

Who can apply 

Students and young people between under 16 and 25 years old. They can participate alone or in a team of two. 

How to apply

Participants need to simply register here. The qualifying round is a 25-minute climate quiz, which can be taken online at any time.

Schools can register their qualifier events to allow all students to participate in sync. Upon verification, schools can also get printable versions of the sheets and conduct exams in paper form.

Early Bird participants can attempt the Qualifier up to 5 times. Regular participants can attempt the Qualifier up to 3 times. Take part in the referral programme to get 1 additional attempt per person you refer.

Prizes

All participants will be awarded a certificate for participation, a notable addition to any college application or resume.

Every Finalist is awarded a Bronze Medal certificate, and the top 20 and top 10 will be awarded a Silver and Gold Medal certificate, respectively.

Winners of the Climate Science Olympiad in 2024 will be awarded cash or a sponsored trip to Australia at the COP29 UN Climate Summit.

Олимпиадата по изучаване на климата кани млади хора под 25 години от цял свят да участват в изданието за 2023 г., да намерят решение за най-големия проблем с изменението на климата в света и да станат бъдещите лидери по въпросите на климата.

Олимпиадата по изучаване на климата ще се проведе онлайн и се състои от четири кръга: квалификации, четвъртфинал, полуфинали и финали.

Die Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade lädt junge Menschen unter 25 Jahren aus der ganzen Welt ein, an der Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade 2023 teilzunehmen, eine Lösung für das weltweit größte Problem des Klimawandels zu finden und die führenden Klimaschützer von morgen zu werden.

Worum es geht

Die Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade findet online statt und besteht aus vier Runden: Qualifikationsrunde, Viertelfinale, Halbfinale und Finale.

Die ersten beiden Runden bestehen aus einem Multiple-Choice-Quiz. In den letzten beiden Runden wird ein detaillierter Vorschlag zur Lösung eines realen Klimaproblems verlangt.

Die Probleme werden 7 verschiedene Themen abdecken: saubere Energie, Landwirtschaft, Wasserressourcen, biologische Vielfalt, nachhaltige Wirtschaft, nachhaltiger Transport und globale Entwicklung.

Wer kann sich bewerben?

Studierende und junge Menschen zwischen 16 und 25 Jahren. Sie können allein oder in Zweierteams teilnehmen.

Wie man sich bewirbt

Die Teilnehmer müssen sich einfach hier anmelden. Die Qualifikationsrunde ist ein 25-minütiges Klimaquiz, das jederzeit online absolviert werden kann.

What it is

• Participants need to simply register here. The qualifying round is a 25-minute climate quiz, which can be taken online at any time.

El principal objetivo del Premio de Investigación sobre Políticas Culturales (CPRA) es estimular la investigación académica en el campo de la política cultural. El área total cubierta por el premio se aplica a la investigación comparativa de la política cultural.

Se hace hincapié en la investigación que analiza diversos aspectos de la diversidad cultural en Europa y que tiene por objeto informar a los responsables políticos y a los profesionales beneficiarios activos en el área. Las propuestas de proyectos de investigación deberán centrarse en las cuestiones relacionadas con los desafíos de la diversidad cultural. Las propuestas pueden abordar este tema de gran actualidad que afecta a la Europa contemporánea en tres niveles:

El término ‘investigación en la diversidad cultural’ se usa inclusivamente para referirse a las políticas culturales, de educación y formación, actividades de la sociedad civil, los aspectos de la política exterior y de seguridad, aspectos de la migración y políticas de ampliación europeas. Sin embargo, un claro énfasis debe ponerse en el papel de las artes y la cultura en este contexto.

Al explorar el papel de las artes y la cultura en un momento de creciente heterogeneidad, el proyecto de investigación debe abordar la urgencia política y cultural de la diversidad en nuestras sociedades y dentro de Europa. Debe proporcionar nuevos conocimientos y sugerir orientaciones prácticas políticas y/o recomendaciones para los responsables políticos y pensadores (nuevas soluciones políticas y propuestas de nuevos instrumentos o procedimientos que crearán las condiciones favorables para la diversidad cultural).

Se dará prioridad a los proyectos de evaluación, comparación e investigación-acción que cubren el espacio europeo o macro-regional. The European Commission is organising an online translation contest to give secondary school young people a first-hand experience of what it is like to be a translator. Students, aged 17 are challenged to translate a short text.

The aim is for young people to experience what it is like to be a professional translator. They should translate as if writing for young people of their own age, to help them understand a message written in another language.

The participants will be judged for their efforts and ability to use terms correctly and write fluently in the chosen language, the general readability of the translation, and the creativity of the solutions found.

Languages:

The students themselves can decide the language of the starting text and into what language they want to translate it, chosen from among the EU official languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish.

Each participant’s choice of language pair must be stated on registration. The choice cannot be changed after the 16 November 2023 deadline.

The contest

• The translation test will be carried out simultaneously in all participating schools between 10.00 and 12.00 PM (Central European Time), on 23 November 2023.
• The test will take place in the schools' premises and the original translations must be saved and submitted on the contest platform.

Participating schools must

• be located in an EU country,
• be recognised by the educational authorities of one or more EU country/countries,
• have the necessary IT equipment in order to carry out the test properly and in impartial conditions,
• register on the contest platform by 16 October 2023, 12 PM CET,
• select between 2 and 5 students born in 2006, who are permanently enrolled in the school, and enter their names and language pairs in the contest platform by 16 November 2023, 12.00 midday CET at the latest.

Selection of schools

Among the schools that have submitted their registration form in due order, a certain number will be selected through a random draw.

The number of schools selected from each EU country will be equal to the number of seats the country has in the European Parliament. The list of selected schools will be published on the Juvenes Translatores website by the end of October 2023.

In the schools, that have been selected at random from among those registering, the nominated students will sit down on that day under the supervision of their teacher and translate the chosen text.

Prize

Winners will be announced by the beginning of February 2024. The best translators, one from each EU country, will be invited to Brussels in spring 2024 for an awards ceremony.

The European Commission will arrange and pay for travel and accommodation for one winner, one teacher and one accompanying adult per country.

La Commission européenne organise un concours de traduction en ligne pour permettre aux jeunes de l'enseignement secondaire de se faire une idée concrète du métier de traducteur. Les élèves, âgés de 17 ans, sont invités à traduire un texte court.

L'objectif est que les jeunes fassent l'expérience de ce qu'est un traducteur professionnel. Ils doivent traduire comme s'ils écrivaient pour des jeunes de leur âge, afin de les aider à comprendre un message écrit dans une autre langue.

Les participants seront jugés sur leurs efforts et leur capacité à utiliser correctement les termes et à écrire couramment dans la langue choisie, sur la lisibilité générale de la traduction et sur la créativité des solutions trouvées.

Les étudiants peuvent décider eux-mêmes de la langue du texte de départ et de la langue dans laquelle ils souhaitent le traduire, parmi les langues officielles de l'UE : allemand, anglais, bulgare, croate, danois, espagnol, estonien, finnois, français, grec, hongrois, irlandais, italien, letton, lituanien, maltais, néerlandais, polonais, portugais, roumain, slovaque, slovène, tchèque et suédois.

Le concours

• L'épreuve de traduction se déroulera simultanément dans toutes les écoles participantes entre 10h et 12h (heure d'Europe centrale), le 23 novembre 2023.
•    L'épreuve se déroulera dans les locaux des écoles et les traductions originales devront être sauvegardées et soumises sur la plateforme du concours.

Les écoles participantes doivent :

• être situées dans un pays de l'UE
• être reconnues par les autorités éducatives d'un ou de plusieurs pays de l'UE
• disposer de l'équipement informatique nécessaire pour effectuer le test correctement et dans des conditions impartiales
• s'inscrire sur la plateforme du concours avant le 16 octobre 2023, 12 heures CET
• sélectionner entre 2 et 5 élèves nés en 2006, inscrits de manière permanente dans l'école, et saisir leurs noms et paires de langues sur la plateforme du concours au plus tard le 16 novembre 2023, 12h00 CET

Sélection des écoles

Parmi les écoles qui ont soumis leur formulaire d'inscription dans les délais, un certain nombre sera sélectionné par tirage au sort.

Le nombre d'écoles sélectionnées dans chaque pays de l'UE sera égal au nombre de sièges dont dispose le pays au Parlement européen. La liste des écoles sélectionnées sera publiée sur le site web de Juvenes Translatores avant la fin du mois d'octobre 2023.

Dans les écoles sélectionnées au hasard parmi celles qui se sont inscrites, les élèves désignés s'assiéront ce jour-là sous la supervision de leur professeur et traduiront le texte choisi.

Prix

Les noms des lauréats seront annoncés au début du mois de février 2024. Les meilleurs traducteurs, un par pays de l'UE, seront invités à Bruxelles au printemps 2024 pour une cérémonie de remise des prix.

La Commission européenne organisera et prendra en charge le voyage et l'hébergement d'un lauréat, d'un enseignant et d'un accompagnateur par pays.

Die Europäische Kommission organisiert einen Schulwettbewerb, um jungen Menschen aus erster Hand zu vermitteln, wie es ist, Übersetzer/in zu sein. Schülerinnen und Schüler im Alter von 17 Jahren werden aufgefordert, einen kurzen Text zu übersetzen.

Ziel ist es, jungen Menschen zu vermitteln, wie es ist, ein professioneller Übersetzer zu sein. Sie sollen so übersetzen, als ob sie für junge Leute ihres Alters schreiben würden, um ihnen zu helfen, eine in einer anderen Sprache verfasste Botschaft zu verstehen.
Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer werden für ihre Bemühungen und ihre Fähigkeit, Begriffe korrekt zu verwenden und fliessend in der gewählten Sprache zu schreiben, für die allgemeine Lesbarkeit der Übersetzung und für die Kreativität der gefundenen Lösungen beurteilt.

Die Sprachen:
Die Schülerinnen und Schüler können selbst entscheiden, welche Sprache der Ausgangstext haben soll und in welche Sprache sie ihn übersetzen möchten, wobei sie unter den offiziellen Sprachen der EU wählen können: Bulgarisch, Dänisch, Deutsch, Englisch, Estnisch, Finnisch, Französisch, Griechisch, Irisch, Italienisch, Kroatisch, Lettisch, Litauisch, Maltesisch, Niederländisch, Polnisch, Portugiesisch, Rumänisch, Schwedisch, Slowakisch, Slowenisch, Spanisch, Tschechisch und Ungarisch.
Bei der Anmeldung muss die Wahl der Sprachkombination jedes Teilnehmers angegeben werden. Die Wahl kann nach Ablauf der Frist bis zum 16. November 2021 nicht mehr geändert werden.

Der Wettbewerb

• Der Übersetzungstest wird am 25. November 2021 zwischen 10.00 und 12.00 Uhr Brüsseler Zeit in allen teilnehmenden Schulen gleichzeitig durchgeführt.
• Der Test findet in den Räumlichkeiten der Schulen statt, und die handschriftlichen Originalübersetzungen müssen an diesen Tagen per Post oder Kurierdienst eingesandt werden.  

Die teilnehmenden Schulen müssen

• in einem EU-Mitgliedstaat ansässig sein,
• von den Bildungsbehörden des Mitgliedstaates als Teil des regionalen oder nationalen Bildungssystems anerkannt sein
• über die notwendige IT verfügen, um den Ausgangstext für den Test ordnungsgemäß zu erhalten, sowie über einen Computer, der PDF-Dateien öffnen und ausdrucken kann (die Tests und die Übersetzungsbögen werden in diesem Format versandt), zwischen 2 und 5 Studierende des Jahrgangs 2004 auswählen und ihre Namen und Sprachpaare bis spätestens 16. November 2021, 12.00 Uhr MEZ, in die Wettbewerbsplattform eingeben.

Auswahl der Schulen:
Unter den Schulen, die ihr Anmeldeformular fristgerecht eingereicht haben, wird eine bestimmte Anzahl nach dem Zufallsprinzip ausgelost.
Die Anzahl der ausgewählten Schulen aus jedem Mitgliedstaat entspricht der Anzahl der Sitze des Mitgliedstaates im Europäischen Parlament. Die Liste der ausgewählten Schulen wird bis Ende Oktober 2021 auf der Website von Juvenes Translatores veröffentlicht.
In den Schulen, die nach dem Zufallsprinzip aus den Anmeldungen ausgewählt wurden, setzen sich die nominierten Schülerinnen und Schüler an diesem Tag unter der Aufsicht ihrer Lehrkraft zusammen und übersetzen den ausgewählten Text.

Preis
Die besten Übersetzer, einer aus jedem Mitgliedstaat, werden im Frühjahr 2022 zu einer Preisverleihung nach Brüssel eingeladen.
Die Europäische Kommission wird für einen Gewinner, einen Lehrer und eine erwachsene Begleitperson pro Mitgliedstaat Reise und Unterkunft organisieren und bezahlen.

Az Európai Bizottság online fordítási versenyt szervez középiskolás diákok számára annak érdekében, hogy a fiatalok első kézből tapasztalhassák meg, milyen is fordítónak le. A versenyben 17 éves diákok vehetnek részt, akiknek egy rövid szöveget kell majd lefordítaniuk. 

The aim is for young people to experience what it is like to be a professional translator. They should translate as if writing for young people of their own age, to help them understand a message written in another language.

The participants will be judged for their efforts and ability to use terms correctly and write fluently in the chosen language, the general readability of the translation, and the creativity of the solutions found.

Languages:

The students themselves can decide the language of the starting text and into what language they want to translate it, chosen from among the EU official languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish.

Each participant’s choice of language pair must be stated on registration. The choice cannot be changed after the 16 November 2023 deadline.

The contest

• The translation test will be carried out simultaneously in all participating schools between 10.00 and 12.00 PM (Central European Time), on 23 November 2023.
• The test will take place in the schools' premises and the original translations must be saved and submitted on the contest platform.

Participating schools must

• be located in an EU country,
• be recognised by the educational authorities of one or more EU country/countries,
• have the necessary IT equipment in order to carry out the test properly and in impartial conditions,
• register on the contest platform by 16 October 2023, 12 PM CET,
• select between 2 and 5 students born in 2006, who are permanently enrolled in the school, and enter their names and language pairs in the contest platform by 16 November 2023, 12.00 midday CET at the latest.

Selection of schools

Among the schools that have submitted their registration form in due order, a certain number will be selected through a random draw.

The number of schools selected from each EU country will be equal to the number of seats the country has in the European Parliament. The list of selected schools will be published on the Juvenes Translatores website by the end of October 2023.

In the schools, that have been selected at random from among those registering, the nominated students will sit down on that day under the supervision of their teacher and translate the chosen text.

Prize

Winners will be announced by the beginning of February 2024. The best translators, one from each EU country, will be invited to Brussels in spring 2024 for an awards ceremony.

The European Commission will arrange and pay for travel and accommodation for one winner, one teacher and one accompanying adult per country.

La Commissione Europea ha organizzato un concorso per le scuole europee mirato ad offrire ai giovani un'esperienza diretta di cosa significa essere un traduttore.

L'obiettivo è che i giovani facciano l'esperienza di cosa significhi essere un traduttore professionista. I giovani dovranno tradurre come se si rivolgessero ai loro coetanei per aiutarli a comprendere un messaggio scritto in un'altra lingua. I partecipanti verranno giudicati per i loro sforzi e la loro capacità nell'utilizzo corretto dei termini e una scrittura fluida nella lingua prescelta, la generale leggibilità della traduzione e la creatività delle soluzioni trovate.

Lingue:
Gli studenti stessi possono decidere la lingua del testo di partenza e in quale lingua desiderano tradurre tra le 24 lingue ufficiali UE, ad es. bulgaro, ceco, croato, danese, olandese, inglese, estone, finlandese, francese, tedesco, greco, ungherese, irlandese, Italiano, lituano, lettone, maltese, polacco, portoghese, rumeno, slovacco, sloveno, spagnolo e svedese.

Il concorso:
- Il concorso si svolge simultaneamente in tutte le scuole partecipanti il 24 novembre 2022.
- A partire da quest'anno il concorso sarà online.

Le scuole partecipanti devono:

Tra le scuole che hanno presentato il loro modulo di registrazione entro i tempi e i modi stabiliti, un certo numero di esse verrà selezionata per estrazione.Il numero di scuole selezionate per ogni Stato membro è uguale al numero di seggi che il paese detiene nel Parlamento europeo. Nelle scuole sorteggiate tra quelle che hanno effettuato la registrazione, gli studenti nominati sosterranno la prova il giorno stabilito sotto la supervisione del loro insegnante e tradurranno il testo scelto.

Premio:

Comisia Europeană organizează acest concurs online de traduceri pentru a le oferi tinerilor elevi de gimnaziu oportunitatea să vadă ce înseamnă să fie traducători. Elevii cu vârsta de 17 ani trebuie să traducă un text scurt. 

Scopul concursului este de a arăta tinerilor ce înseamnă să fii traducător profesionist. Aceștia trebuie să traducă ca și cum textul ar fi scris pentru tineri de vârsta lor, pentru a-I ajuta să înțeleagă un mesaj scris în altă limbă. Participanții vor fi apreciați pentru eforturile și abilitatea de a folosi corect termeni și a scrie fluent în limba aleasă, lizibilitatea generală a traducerii și creativitatea soluțiilor găsite.

Limbi:

Elevii pot decide limba textului de pornire și în ce limbă doresc să îl traducă, alegînd dintre limbile oficiale ale UE: bulgară, croată, cehă, daneză, olandeză, engleză, estonă, finlandeză,franceză, germană, greacă, maghiară, irlandeză, italiană, letonă, lituaniană,malteză, polonă, portugheză, română, slovacă, slovenă, spaniolă și suedeză. Fiecare participant alege o pereche de limbi pe care trebuie să o menționeze la înregistrare. Alegerea nu poate fi schimbată după termenul limită de 16 noiembrie 2023. 

Concurs

• Testul de traducere se va desfășura simultan în toate școlile participante între orele 10:00 și 12:00, ora Bruxelles-ului, pe data de 23 noiembrie 2023.
• Testul va avea loc în spații școlare, iar traducerile originale scrise de mână trebuie să fie trimise în aceste zile prin poștă sau servicii de curierat. 

Școlile participante trebuie:

• Să fie situate într-un stat membru al UE
• Să fie recunoscute de către autoritățile educaționale ale statului membru, ca parte a sistemului educațional regional sau național
• Să aibă echipamentele IT necesare, cu scopul de a primi în mod corect textul sursă pentru test și să aibă un calculator care poate deschide și printa fișiere PDF (testele și foile de traducere vor fi trimise în acest format)
• Să se înregistreze pe platforma concursului până pe 16 octombrie 2023
• Să selecteze între 2 și 5 elevi născuți în 2005 și să adauge numele lor și perechea de limbi folosite pe platforma concursului până la 16 noiembrie 2023, cel mai tarziu la 12:00, ora prânzului.

Selecția școlilor:

Printre școlile care au depus formularul de înregistrare, un anumit număr va fi selectat printr-o tragere la sorți.

Numărul de școli selectate din fiecare stat membru va fi egal cu numărul de locuri pe care statul membru le are în Parlamentul European. Lista școlilor selectate va fi publicată pe website-ul Juvenes Translatores până la sfârșitul lui octombrie 2023.

În școlile care au fost selectate în mod aleatoriu din rândul celor înregistrate, elevii nominalizați vor traduce textul ales, sub supravegherea profesorului lor. 

Premii

Cei mai buni traducători, câte unul din fiecare stat membru UE, vor fi invitați la Bruxelles în februarie 2024 pentru ceremonia de premiere. Comisia Europeană va acoperi cheltuielile pentru deplasare și cazare pentru un câștigător, un profesor și un adult însoțitor pentru fiecare stat membru.

La Comisión Europea organiza un concurso escolar para dar a los jóvenes una experiencia directa de lo que es ser un traductor. Los estudiantes, de 17 años tienen el reto de traducir un texto breve.

El objetivo es que los jóvenes experimenten lo que es ser un traductor profesional. Ellos deben traducir como si escribieran para los jóvenes de su misma edad, para ayudarles a entender un mensaje escrito en otro idioma.
Los participantes serán juzgados por sus esfuerzos y su capacidad para utilizar los términos correctos y escribir con fluidez en el idioma elegido, por la legibilidad general de la traducción y por la creatividad de las soluciones encontradas.

Idiomas:
Los alumnos podrán decidir el idioma del texto de partida y en el idioma que desean traducir, escogidos entre las 24 lenguas oficiales de la UE, es decir, búlgaro, croata, checo, danés, holandés, inglés, estonio, finlandés, francés, alemán, griego , húngaro, irlandés, italiano, letón, lituano, maltés, polaco, portugués, rumano, eslovaco, esloveno, español y sueco.

El concurso:

La prueba de traducción se llevará a cabo de forma simultánea en todas las escuelas participantes en un plazo determinado, entre las 10.00 y las 12.00 del 27 de noviembre de 2014.
La prueba se llevará a cabo en las instalaciones de las escuelas.

Las escuelas participantes deben:
-encontrarse en un Estado miembro de la UE,
-estar reconocidas por las autoridades educativas del Estado miembro en el marco del sistema educativo regional o nacional
-tener la tecnología necesaria con el fin de recibir el texto de origen para realizar la prueba correctamente
-seleccionar entre 2 y 5 alumnos nacidos en 1997 e introducir sus nombres y los idiomas elegidos en la base de datos el 20 de noviembre de 2014 a más tardar.

La selección de las escuelas:
Entre las escuelas que han presentado su formulario de inscripción en el orden debido, un cierto número serán seleccionadas a través de un sorteo al azar. El número de centros seleccionados en cada Estado miembro será igual al número de escaños que el Estado miembro tiene en el Parlamento Europeo. En las escuelas que han sido seleccionadas al azar, de entre aquellas que se inscriban, los estudiantes seleccionados se sentarán ese día bajo la supervisión de su maestro y traducirán el texto seleccionado.

Premio:
Los 28 mejores traductores, uno por cada Estado miembro, serán invitados a Bruselas en la primavera de 2014 para la ceremonia de entrega de premios.

Young people from all the EU Member States are invited to participate in a competition on EU development, integration and European identity issues by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen. 

Theme of the competition:

The European Charlemagne Youth Prize is awarded to projects, which:

- promote the European and international understanding,

- foster the development of a shared sense of European identity and integration,

- serve as a role model for young people living in Europe

- offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.

The projects can focus on the organisation of various youth events, youth exchanges or internet projects with a European dimension.

Application requirements

- applicants should be 16-30 years old;

- must be citizens or residents of one of the EU Member States;

- can apply, either individually or in groups, or an organisation;

- in cases where the applicant is either a group of individuals or an organisation, the application should be submitted in the name of the responsible person representing a group or an organisation.

Applications in all official languages of the European Union are eligible

The projecs submitted for the competition be

- a project can be either national (i.e. carried out in one Member State and targeting participants from this one Member State) or international (i.e. carried out in more than one Member State and/or targeting participants from more than one Member State);

- a project can only be submitted in one EU Member State - in case of international projects, the application must be submitted in the Member State that the project has the closest link to.

Prizes

The prize for the best project is EUR 7,500, the second, EUR 5000, and the third, EUR 2,500.

One representative of the 27 national winning projects selected will be invited to the award ceremony and a stay of several days in Aachen, Germany in May 2022.

The prizes for the best three projects will be presented by the President of the European Parliament and representative of the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen.

As part of the prize, the three laureates will be invited to visit the European Parliament (in Brussels or in Strasbourg).

Selection procedure

The winner of the European Charlemagne Youth Prize will be selected in a two-phase process.

First: national juries consisting of at least two Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and one representative from the youth sector and is selected annually. For more information please contact your national European Parliament Liaison Office.

Second: the European jury consists of the President of the European Parliament, two Members of the European Parliament, three representatives of the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen, and two representatives of the youth sector (including former prize winners).

Млади хора от всички държави-членки на ЕС са поканени да участват в конкурс за развитие на ЕС, интеграция и въпроси на европейската идентичност от Европейския парламент и Фондацията на Международната награда Карл Велики в Аахен.

„Европейската младежка награда „Карл Велики“ се присъжда на проекти, които обхващат:

- проектът може да бъде подаден само в една държава-членка на ЕС - в случай на международни проекти, кандидатурата трябва да бъде подадена в държавата-членка, с която проектът има най-близка връзка.

Награди

Наградата за най-добър проект е 7500 евро, за класирания на второ място проект - 5000 евро и за проекта, класиран на трето място - 2500 евро.

Един представител от избраните 27 национални печеливши проекта ще бъде поканен на церемонията по награждаването, както и няколкодневен престой в Аахен, Германия през май 2022 г.

Наградите за най-добрите три проекта ще бъдат връчени от председателя на Европейския парламент и представител на фондацията на Международната награда „Карл Велики“ в Аахен.

Като част от наградата, първите трима печеливши ще бъдат поканени да посетят Европейския парламент (в Брюксел или в Страсбург).

TEST Европейска младежка награда „Карл Велики“

Млади хора от всички държави-членки на ЕС са поканени да участват в конкурс за развитие на ЕС, интеграция и въпроси на европейската идентичност от Европейския парламент и Фондацията на Международната награда Карл Велики в Аахен.

Тема на конкурса:

„Европейската младежка награда „Карл Велики“ се присъжда на проекти, които обхващат:

- теми свързани с насърчаване на европейското и международно разбирателство;

- теми свързани с насърчаване развитието на споделено чувство за европейска идентичност и интеграция;

- служат като пример за подражание на младите хора, живеещи в Европа;

- предлагат практически примери за съвместен живот на европейците като една общност.

Проектите могат да се фокусират върху организирането на различни младежки събития, младежки обмени или интернет проекти с европейско измерение.

Изисквания за кандидатстване:

- кандидатите да са на възраст 16-30 години;

- трябва да са граждани или жители на една от държавите-членки на ЕС;

- могат да кандидатстват индивидуално, групово или като организация;

- в случаите, когато кандидатът е група лица или организация, заявлението трябва да бъде подадено на името на отговорното лице, представляващо групата или организацията.

Допустими са предложения на всички официални езици на Европейския съюз

Представените за конкурса проекти могат да бъдат:

- национален (т.е. осъществен в една държава членка и насочен към участници от тази държава членка) или международен (т.е. осъществен в повече от една държава членка и/или насочен към участници от повече от една държава членка);

- проектът може да бъде подаден само в една държава-членка на ЕС - в случай на международни проекти, кандидатурата трябва да бъде подадена в държавата-членка, с която проектът има най-близка връзка.

Награди

Наградата за най-добър проект е 7500 евро, за класирания на второ място проект - 5000 евро и за проекта, класиран на трето място - 2500 евро.

Един представител от избраните 27 национални печеливши проекта ще бъде поканен на церемонията по награждаването, както и няколкодневен престой в Аахен, Германия през май 2022 г.

Наградите за най-добрите три проекта ще бъдат връчени от председателя на Европейския парламент и представител на фондацията на Международната награда „Карл Велики“ в Аахен.

Като част от наградата, първите трима печеливши ще бъдат поканени да посетят Европейския парламент (в Брюксел или в Страсбург).

Das Europäische Parlament und die Stiftung Internationaler Karlspreis zu Aachen laden junge Menschen aus allen Mitgliedstaaten der EU ein, an einem Wettbewerb zu den Themen Entwicklung der EU, europäische Integration und Europäische Identität teilzunehmen.

Thema des Wettbewerbs:
Der 'Europäische Karlspreis der Jugend' wird an Projekte vergeben, die:
- die europäische und internationale Verständigung fördern,
- die Entwicklung eines gemeinsamen Gefühls der europäischen Identität und Integration fördern,
- als Vorbild für in Europa lebende junge Menschen dienen
- praktische Beispiele für das Zusammenleben der Europäer als eine Gemeinschaft bieten.

Die Projekte können sich auf die Organisation verschiedener Jugendveranstaltungen, Jugendaustausche oder Internetprojekte mit einer europäischen Dimension konzentrieren.

Voraussetzungen für die Teilnahme:
- Die Teilnehmer sollten 16-30 Jahre alt sein;
- müssen Bürger oder Einwohner eines der EU-Mitgliedstaaten sein;
- können sich entweder einzeln oder in Gruppen bewerben; bei Gruppen- und grenzüberschreitenden Projekten kann das Projekt nur in einem Land eingereicht werden, das eng mit dem Projekt verbunden ist.

Förderfähig sind Anträge in allen Amtssprachen der Europäischen Union.
Die für den Wettbewerb eingereichten Projekte müssen begonnen haben und:
a) zwischen dem 1. Januar 2020 und dem 1. Februar 2021 abgeschlossen sein oder
b) noch laufen.

 
Preise:
Der Preis für das beste Projekt beträgt 7.500 EUR, der zweite Preis 5000 EUR und der dritte Preis 2.500 EUR.
Ein Vertreter der 27 ausgewählten nationalen Siegerprojekte wird am 11. Mai 2021 zur Preisverleihung und zu einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in Aachen, Deutschland, eingeladen.
Die Preise für die drei besten Projekte werden vom Präsidenten des Europäischen Parlaments und vom Vertreter der Stiftung Internationaler Karlspreis zu Aachen überreicht.
Im Rahmen der Preisverleihung werden die drei Preisträger zu einem Besuch des Europäischen Parlaments (in Brüssel oder in Straßburg) eingeladen.

Auswahlverfahren:
Der Gewinner oder die Gewinnerin des Europäischen Karlspreises der Jugend wird in einem zweistufigen Verfahren ausgewählt.

1. : Nationale Jurys, die aus mindestens zwei Mitgliedern des Europäischen Parlaments (MdEP) und einem Vertreter von Jugendorganisationen bestehen, wählen bis zum 15. März 2021 einen nationalen Preisträger aus jedem der 27 Mitgliedstaaten aus.
2. : Die europäische Jury, bestehend aus drei Mitgliedern des Europäischen Parlaments, dem Präsidenten des Europäischen Parlaments und vier Vertretern der Stiftung Internationaler Karlspreis zu Aachen, wählt im April 2021 aus den 27 nationalen Siegerprojekten, die von den nationalen Jurys eingereicht wurden, den Gewinner aus.

- a project can only be submitted in one EU Member State - in case of international projects, the application must be submitted in the Member State that the project has the closest link to.

Prizes

The prize for the best project is EUR 7,500, the second, EUR 5000, and the third, EUR 2,500.

One representative of the 27 national winning projects selected will be invited to the award ceremony and a stay of several days in Aachen, Germany in May 2022.

The prizes for the best three projects will be presented by the President of the European Parliament and representative of the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen.

As part of the prize, the three laureates will be invited to visit the European Parliament (in Brussels or in Strasbourg).

Tema concursului:

'Premiul Charlemagne pentru tinerii europeni' se acordă proiectelor care:

Proiectele pot fi axate pe organizarea de evenimente pentru tineri, schimburi de tineri sau proiecte online care au dimensiune europeană.

Criterii de aplicare:

• aplicanţii trebuie să aibă vârsta între 16 şi 30 de ani;
• să fie cetăţeni sau rezidenţi ai unuia dintre statele membre ale UE;
• participanţii se pot înscrie individual, în grupuri sau prin intermediul unei organizații.

în cazul în care solicitantul este fie un grup de persoane, fie o organizație, cererea trebuie depusă în numele persoanei responsabile care reprezintă grupul sau organizația.

Proiectele pot fi scrise și înscrise în concurs în oricare dintre limbile oficiale ale UE.

Proiectele înscrise în concurs trebuie să fie:

1. Implementate la nivel național (adică desfășurate într-un stat membru și care vizează participanții din acest singur stat membru) sau internațional (adică desfășurate în mai multe state membre și/sau vizează participanți din mai multe state membre);
2. un proiect poate fi depus doar într-un stat membru UE - în cazul proiectelor internaționale, cererea trebuie depusă în statul membru cu care proiectul are cea mai strânsă legătură.

Premii:

Premiul pentru cel mai bun proiect este în valoare de 7.500 de euro, premiul doi este în valoare de 5.000 de euro şi premiul trei este în valoare de 2.500 de euro.

Reprezentanţii celor 27 de proiecte naţionale selectate vor fi invitaţi la ceremonia de decernare a premiilor, la Aachen, Germania, în luna mai 2022.

Premiile acordate celor mai bune trei proiecte vor fi înmânate de Preşedintele Parlamentului European şi de către reprezentantul Fundaţiei pentru Premiul Internaţional Charlemagne din Aachen.

Ca parte a premiului, laureaţii vor fi invitaţi să viziteze Parlamentul European (de la Bruxelles sau Strasbourg).

Procedura de selecţie:

Selecţia proiectului câştigător al Premiului Charlemagne pentru tinerii europeni se va face în două etape:

Etapa întâi: juriile naționale, compuse din cel puțin doi membri ai Parlamentului European (MEP) și un reprezentant al sectorului de tineret, vor desemna cel mai bun proiect la nivel național. Pentru mai multe informații, consultă Biroul Național de Informare din țara ta.

Tema del concurso:
El “Premio Europeo Juventud Carlomagno” premia a proyectos que:

·  Promuevan el entendimiento Europeo e internacional.
·  Fomenten el desarrollo de un sentido compartido de identidad e integración europea.
·  Sirvan como modelo para la gente joven que vive en Europa y ofrezca ejemplos prácticos de europeos que vivan juntos como una comunidad.

Los proyectos pueden enfocarse en la organización de varios eventos juveniles, intercambios juveniles o proyectos de internet con una dimensión europea.

Criterios de participación: 
·  Los participantes deben tener entre 16-30 años.
·  Deben ser ciudadanos o residentes en uno de los 28 Estados Miembro de la UE. 
·  Pueden concursar ya sea individualmente o en grupos.
·  Los proyectos enviados para el concurso deben haber comenzado y deben seguir ejecutandose o han terminado dentro del año(12 meses) que precede a la fecha límite de solicitud actual.

Premios:

·  El premio para el mejor proyecto son 5.000€, el segundo 3.000€ y el tercero 2.000€.
·  Representantes de los 28 proyectos nacionales seleccionados serán invitados a una ceremonia de entrega de premios en Aachen, Alemania, el 12 de mayo de 2015.
·  Los premios para los mejores tres proyectos serán presentados por el Presidente del Parlamento Europeo y un representante de la Fundación del Premio Internacional Carlomagno de Aachen.
·  Como parte del concurso, los tres premiados serán invitados a visitar el Parlamento Europeo (en Bruselas o en Estrasburgo).

The WSA (World Summit Awards) Young Innovators is a special recognition for young social entrepreneurs under 26 years of age, using ICTs to take action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Together with the WSA winners of each year, they are honoured as outstanding digital innovation with social impact.

From 2020 on, EYA (European Youth Award) becomes part of WSA to foster social sustainable impact, offer support and wider opportunities for young digital entrepreneurs globally.

Eligibility criteria

• the participation in the WSA Young Innovators is open to any entrepreneur, company, student group or project team from UN and UNESCO member states 
• at least one of the founding members and the majority of the team must be under the age of 26 (born on or after 1 January 1997)

Le Prix du sommet mondial (WSA) pour les jeunes innovateurs est une reconnaissance spéciale pour les jeunes entrepreneurs de moins de 26 ans, qui utilisent les TIC pour mettre en œuvre des actions en lien avec les objectifs de développement durable (ODD) des Nations Unies.

Depuis 2020, le Prix de la Jeunesse européenne (EYA) a rejoint le Prix du sommet mondial (WSA) pour encourager l’impact social et environnemental, proposer un soutien et de plus grandes opportunités pour les jeunes entrepreneurs numériques du monde entier.

Critères d’éligibilité 

• La participation au Le Prix du sommet mondial (WSA) pour les jeunes innovateurs est ouverte à tous les entrepreneurs, les entreprises, les groupes d’étudiants et les projets d’équipes des Etats membres des Nations Unies.
• Au moins un des membres fondateurs et la majorité des membres de l’équipe doivent avoir moins de 26 ans (être né, au plus tôt, le 1er janvier 1997).

Comment postuler

• Postuler à l’aide du formulaire de candidature en ligne
• Les soumissions pour le WSA Jeunes innovateurs peut contenir des projets web et mobiles tels que des applis, pages web, applications pour portables, installations de kiosques, SMS basés sur les produits, jeux et productions interactives (il n’y a pas de limites concernant les plateformes ou les chaînes)
• Toutes les soumissions doivent être des produits terminés (aucun brouillons, idées ou projets non aboutis ne seront acceptés)

A WSA (World Summit Awards) Young Innovators (Fiatal Innovátorok Világcsúcs-díja) egy különleges elismerés a 26 év alatti fiatal vállalkozók számára, akik az információs és kommunikációs technológiákat (IKT) az ENSZ Fenntartható Fejlődési Céljai megvalósítására használják.

Az egyes évek WSA-győzteseivel együtt az idei évi nyertesek a társadalmi hatással bíró kiemelkedő digitális innovációért kapnak elismerést.

From 2020 on, EYA (European Youth Award) becomes part of WSA to foster social sustainable impact, offer support and wider opportunities for young digital entrepreneurs globally.

Eligibility criteria

• the participation in the WSA Young Innovators is open to any entrepreneur, company, student group or project team from UN and UNESCO member states 
• at least one of the founding members and the majority of the team must be under the age of 26 (born on or after 1 January 1997)

How to apply

• apply through the online application form
• submissions for the WSA Young Innovators can contain all mobile and web-based projects, such as: apps, web pages, applications for wearables, kiosk installations, SMS based products, games and interactive productions (there is no limitation regarding the platforms or channels the projects work with)
• all submissions have to be launched products (no drafts, ideas or unfinished projects can be accepted)
• all information entered in the application form must be in English

Il WSA (World Summit Awards) Young Innovators è un riconoscimento speciale per i giovani imprenditori sociali sotto i 26 anni, che usano le TIC per agire sugli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite (UN SDGs). Insieme ai vincitori dei WSA di ogni anno, vengono premiate le innovazioni digitali eccezionali con impatto sociale.

Dal 2020 in poi, l'EYA (European Youth Award) diventa parte del WSA per promuovere l'impatto sociale sostenibile, offrire supporto e maggiori opportunità per i giovani imprenditori digitali a livello globale.

Criteri di ammissibilità
-La partecipazione al WSA Young Innovators è aperta a qualsiasi imprenditore, azienda, gruppo di studenti o team di progetto degli stati membri delle Nazioni Unite o dell'UNESCO 
-Almeno uno dei membri fondatori e la maggioranza del team devono avere meno di 26 anni (nati il 1 gennaio 1996 o dopo)
 
Come candidarsi:
-fare domanda attraverso il modulo di domanda online
-le candidature per il WSA Young Innovators possono contenere tutti i progetti mobili e basati sul web, come: app, pagine web, applicazioni per wearables, installazioni per chioschi, prodotti basati su SMS, giochi e produzioni interattive (non ci sono limitazioni riguardo alle piattaforme o ai canali con cui i progetti lavorano)
-tutti i prodotti devono essere già stati lanciati (non si accettano bozze, idee o progetti non finiti)
-tutte le informazioni inserite nel modulo di domanda devono essere in inglese

Os Prémios Juventude da Cimeira Mundial (WSYA) convidam uma vez mais jovens designers, criadores de conteúdos eletrónicos, escritores e bloggers de todo o mundo para participarem com os seus projetos numa competição internacional de multimédia:  usando a internet e telemóveis para colocar os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento do Milénio (ODM) em Ação! Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Os Prémios Juventude da Cimeira Mundial selecionam e promovem as melhores práticas em e-content e criatividade tecnológica, demonstram o potencial dos jovem para criar excelentes conteúdos digitais e servem como uma plataforma para as pessoas de todos os estados membros da ONU trabalharem juntos nos esforços para reduzir a pobreza e a fome, e para combater a falta de cuidados de saúde, a desigualdade de gênero, a falta de educação, a falta de acesso a água potável e a degradação ambiental.

Critérios de elegibilidade:
 - Os projetos tem de estar concluidos à data de 01 de janeiro de 2012 (um produto, projeto ou aplicação que tenha sido submetido anteriormente deverá documentar quais as alterações ou melhorias introduzidas e/ou adições feitas no periodo depois);
 - Os projetos devem ter sido elaborados e executados por jovens com menos de 30 anos (data de nascimento 01.01.1984);
 - Os produtos devem ser totalmente funcionais e operacionais aquando da submissão da candidatura;
 - Os produtos devem ser acessiveis através da Internet;
-  As submissões devem ser isentas de comentários ofensivos e/ou conteúdos plagiados e devem ser executados por uma pessoa autorizada; 
 - Em caso de candidaturas múltiplas de um mesmo candidato, cada produto, projeto ou aplicação requer um registo e um recibo separados.

Prémio:
Em cada categoria haverá três vencedores e dois vice-campeões.
Será dado aos vencedores a oportunidade de mostrarem sua plataforma na cerimónia Prémio Cimeira Mundial da Juventude (WSYA) lugar e data a definir.

WSA (World Summit Awards) – Tineri inovatori reprezintă o recunoaștere specială pentru tineri antreprenori sociali cu vârsta sub 26 de ani, care utilizând tehnologia informației și a comunicațiilor (TIC) acționează pentru atingerea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabilă ale Organizației Națiunilor Unite (ODD ale ONU).

Împreună cu câștigătorii WSA din fiecare an, aceștia sunt recunoscuți pentru inovații digitale remarcabile cu impact social.

Criterii de eligibilitate

• participarea la WSA – Tineri inovatori este deschisă pentru antreprenori, companii, grupuri de studenți sau echipe de proiect din statele membre ONU și UNESCO
• cel puțin unul dintre membrii fondatori și majoritatea membrilor echipei trebuie să aibă vârsta sub 26 de ani (născut la sau după 1 ianuarie 1997)

Cum poți candida

• prin completarea și trimiterea formularului de candidatură online      
• materialele trimise pentru WSA - Tineri inovatori pot fi proiecte pentru dispozitive mobile și web, cum ar fi: aplicații, pagini web, aplicații pentru dispozitive portabile, instalații de tip chioșc de informare, produse bazate pe SMS, jocuri și producții interactive (nu există nicio limitare privind platformele sau canalele cu care lucrează proiectele)
• toate proiectele trimise trebuie să fie produse lansate (nu pot fi acceptate proiecte în stadiu de pregătire, idei sau proiecte neterminate)
• toate informațiile incluse în formularul de candidatură trebuie să fie în limba engleză

El Premio de la Cumbre Mundial de Juventud es un concurso global para iniciativas online o a través de móviles que tiene como fin incrementar la concienciación y ayudar a resolver los asuntos globales más tensos. Por ello, se invita a jóvenes diseñadores y creadores de contenidos digitales (por debajo de los 30) de todo el mundo a desarrollar un contenido creativo de Internet que promueva los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio.

El Premio de la Cumbre selecciona y promueve las mejores prácticas de creatividad tecnológica y contenido digital, demuestra el potencial de los jóvenes para crear contenidos digitales y sirve de plataforma para que las personas de todos los estados miembros de las Naciones Unidas trabajen juntos.

Las propuestas deben enmarcarse dentro de una de las seis categorías:
1.Lucha contra la pobreza, el hambre y la enfermedad.
2.Educación para todos.
3.Poder 2 mujer.
4.Crea tu cultura
5.Respeto del medio ambiente.
6.Persigue la verdad

Criterios de elegibilidad:
-Los proyectos deben ser completados después del 1 de enero de 2012 (para los proyectos o productos terminados con anterioridad, los solicitantes tendrán que documentar cualquier alteración, mejora o cambio que hayan hecho en un periodo posterior).
-Los proyectos deben iniciarse y ejecutarse por un joven por debajo de 30 años (nacido después del 1 de enero de 1984).
-Los productos deberán ser funcionales y estar plenamente operativos cuando se presenten.
-Las solicitudes deberán estar libres de ofensas o contenido plagiado y se deberán realizar por una persona autorizada.
-En el caso de múltiples participaciones del mismo participante, cada producto, proyecto o aplicación requiere un registro separado.

Premio:
En cada una de las categorías habrá tres ganadores y hasta tres finalistas. Los ganadores tendrán la oportunidad de mostrar su plataforma en el evento de entrega del Premio de la Cumbre Mundial de Juventud,

The aim of the foundation is to support the development of young people to be politically conscious and responsible personalities and to support the European process.

The Schwarzkopf-Foundation Young Europe was founded in 1971 in Hamburg. The Foundation has an office in Berlin to coordinate its activities in eastern Europe.

Since 1991 the Foundation supports the European Youth Parliament. The EYP aims to promote the European dimension in education and to give students in the 18-26 age group the opportunity to participate in a practical, positive learning experience.

Every year the Schwarzkopf Foundation awards, in co-operation with the European Youth Parliament the "The Young Europeans of the Year".

This is an opportunity to nominate a young person between 18 and 26 years old, in the year of receiving the prize, who will make Europe a better place by working for a pluralistic, open and solidary European society or in the fight against injustice and all forms of discrimination.

The candidates should have achieved outstanding results and wish to actively promote their ideas in the future.

The award is financed with EUR 5.000 to be used for an internship in a European institution.

It is also possible to use the award to finance a project which promotes European integration and solidarity.

L'objectif de la fondation est de soutenir le développement des jeunes pour qu'ils deviennent des personnalités politiquement conscientes et responsables et de soutenir le processus européen.

 La fondation Schwarzkopf Young Europe a été créée en 1971 à Hambourg. La fondation dispose d'un bureau à Berlin pour coordonner ses activités en Europe de l'Est.

Depuis 1991, la Fondation soutient le Parlement européen des jeunes. Le PEJ vise à promouvoir la dimension européenne dans l'éducation et à donner aux étudiants de la tranche d'âge 18-26 ans l'occasion de participer à une expérience d'apprentissage pratique et positive. Plus d'informations ici.

Chaque année, la Fondation Schwarzkopf décerne, en coopération avec le Parlement européen des jeunes, les "Jeunes Européens de l'année".

C'est l'occasion de désigner un jeune âgé de 18 à 26 ans, dans l'année où il recevra le prix, qui rendra l'Europe meilleure en œuvrant pour une société européenne pluraliste, ouverte et solidaire ou en luttant contre l'injustice et toutes les formes de discrimination.

Les candidats doivent avoir obtenu des résultats remarquables et souhaiter promouvoir activement leurs idées à l'avenir.

Le prix est financé à hauteur de 5 000 €, à utiliser pour un stage dans une institution européenne.

Il est également possible d'utiliser le prix pour financer un projet qui promeut l'intégration et la solidarité européennes.

Die Schwarzkopf-Stiftung "Junges Europa" wurde 1971  in Hamburg gegründet. Die Stiftung hat ein Büro in Berlin, um die Stiftungsaktivitäten in Osteuropa zu koordinieren.
