Be part of a team of 25 young people from RYE member organisations.

Members of RYE member organisations.

Young people aged 18-30 (with a few spots for those up to 35).

Must speak and work in English.

Excellent communication skills and ability to represent rural youth.

Passionate about rural youth issues with some experience.

Wie kann man sich bewerben

Alle Teilnehmer müssen einreichen:

• Eine kurze Beschreibung (auf Englisch) sowie den Namen des Autors und den Ort (Stadt und Land), an dem das Bild aufgenommen wurde.
• Eine unterzeichnete Kopie der Rechteerlaubnis. Es werden zwei Unterschriften benötigt, eine von der Person, die das Bild aufgenommen hat, und eine von den Personen, die auf dem Bild erscheinen.

Under the theme "Reclaiming your Rights" participants will have to submit engaging visuals that put forward the experience of people with disabilities throughout the justice system,  in a single photograph, of which three will be selected for prizes.
All participants must submit:

• One single photo (representing the theme ‘Reclaiming your Rights’).
• A short description (in English) as well as the author name, place (city & country) where the picture was taken.
• A signed copy of the Rights Authorization. Two signatures are needed, one from the person who took the picture and one from the person(s) appearing IN the picture.

Out of the 20 finalists, the Jury will select the 3 final nominees.The three final nominees will receive:

The Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize acknowledges exceptional young activists engaged in the defence and promotion of democracy.

Who can be nominated?

Nominees must be aged between 18 and 30 (at the time of their nomination), from any nationality, gender, or occupation.

Nominations must come from an organisation.

Nominations must include all of the following:

• Completed submission form
• A cover letter of support (max 500 words)
• Short video testimony from the nominee (2 minutes max, can be shot on a smartphone).

Prizes

A cash prize of USD 10,000, full coverage of travel and accommodation expenses for the Athens Democracy Forum. Recipients will have to host a panel session on youth and democracy at the following year's Forum.

The European Youth Event (EYE) will bring together at the European Parliament thousands of young people from all over the European Union and beyond, to shape and share their ideas on the future of Europe.

Who can apply

The contest is open to young musicians aged 16-30, residing in:

- EU member states;

- EU candidate countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine;

- EFTA countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

Each band member must be under 30 years old. and should play music that is accessible to a wide audience.

Each band should submit at least 2 and a maximum of 5 songs in video (Youtube or Vimeo) or audio (.mp3) format.

Each winner will win an all-expenses paid trip to perform (30 minutes) in front of thousands of young Europeans from all over Europe.

I partecipanti possono candidarsi come singoli o come gruppo di massimo 5 persone. Per i gruppi, dovrebbe essere nominato un capogruppo. Il leader del gruppo dovrà compilare il modulo di candidatura e rispondere a cinque domande a scelta multipla e una domanda sussidiaria; riceverà quindi un codice al momento della presentazione della domanda, che comunicherà ai membri del gruppo per consentire la loro registrazione. Sulla base del codice fornito dal capogruppo, i restanti membri del gruppo potranno quindi registrarsi online e inserire i propri dati personali. Tutti i membri del gruppo devono avere ugualmente 18 anni.

I giovani con bisogni speciali sono invitati a partecipare a DiscoverEU. Saranno aiutati con informazioni e suggerimenti, e potrebbero vedere coperti i costi dell'assistenza speciale (accompagnatore, cane per i non vedenti, ecc.).

I candidati dovranno rispondere ad alcune domande a quiz legate alle iniziative dell'UE rivolte ai giovani.

Quem se pode candidatar

• Jovens nascidos entre 1 de janeiro de 2006 (inclusive) e 31 de dezembro de 2006 (inclusive);
• Cidadão ou residente legal da UE, de países terceiros associados ao programa Erasmus+: Islândia, Liechtenstein, Macedónia do Norte, Noruega, Sérvia e Turquia ou Países e Territórios Ultramarinos (PTU) associados à União Europeia: Aruba, Bonaire, Curação, Polinésia Francesa, Territórios Austrais e Antárcticos Franceses, Gronelândia, Nova Caledónia, Saba, São Bartolomeu, Santo Eustáquio, São Martinho, São Pedro e Miquelon, Ilhas Wallis e Futuna;

Como candidatar-se

• Criar uma conta no Portal Europeu da Juventude.
• Responder a um pequeno questionário.
• Planear uma viagem de 1 a 30 dias, entre 1 de março de 2025 (primeira data de partida) e 31 de maio de 2026 (última data de regresso);
• Viaja para, pelo menos, um país estrangeiro.
• Partilha a tua experiência como embaixador da iniciativa DiscoverEU.
• Se tiveres uma deficiência ou um problema de saúde que dificulte a tua viagem, receberás assistência e apoio para te ajudar a participar na ação. Para mais informações, consulte as FAQ C.13;

The European Youth Goals Awards recognise young changemakers across Europe whose projects contribute to achieving the European Youth Goals. The awards are organised by the Cities of Learning Network, which fosters accessible, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences for young people

Eligibility criteria:

• Teams of at least four young people aged 13 to 30, independent or supported by organisations.  
• Projects realised between January 2024 and February 2025.  
• Projects must contribute to one or more European Youth Goals, demonstrating a tangible positive impact on young people and their local communities.  
• Have clear evidence that the project was implemented and achieved its goals.
• Projects should involve young people at every stage, from planning to implementation and evaluation.

Prizes

1st place: €900
2nd Place: €600
3rd Place: €300
Special prize for the best local/national project: €500

Submit the necessary information about the project, explaining why it should win. Alternatively, record up to 15 minutes of video or audio answering the application questions and send it to [email protected] with the subject "European Youth Goals Awards 2025."

Premiile „Obiectivele europene pentru tineret” recunosc tinerii capabili de schimbare din întreaga Europă ale căror proiecte contribuie la realizarea Obiectivelor europene pentru tineret. Premiile sunt organizate de Rețeaua Cities of Learning, care promovează experiențe de învățare accesibile, favorabile incluziunii și atractive pentru tineri

Criterii de eligibilitate:

• Echipe formate din cel puțin patru tineri cu vârste cuprinse între 13 și 30 de ani, independente sau sprijinite de organizații.  
• Proiecte realizate între ianuarie 2024 și februarie 2025.  
• Proiectele trebuie să contribuie la unul sau mai multe obiective europene pentru tineret, demonstrând un impact pozitiv tangibil asupra tinerilor și comunităților lor locale.  
• Să aibă dovezi clare că proiectul a fost implementat și și-a atins obiectivele.
• Proiectele trebuie să implice tinerii în fiecare etapă, de la planificare la implementare și evaluare.

Every year KidsRights organises a prize that aims to award a child whose courageous or otherwise extraordinary efforts have made an impact on behalf of the rights of children worldwide. 

Who can be nominated

• An individual boy or girl above 12 years and under 18 years of age from all over the world; 
• With a clear history of fighting for the rights of children;
• Ability to travel abroad and feel comfortable communicating with other people; 
• The child agrees to be nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize; 
• Group nominations are possible provided that every individual in the group made a provable effort and co-initiated the activities that resulted in an exceptional difference in the rights of children.

How to nominate

Any person above the age of 18 or organisation worldwide can nominate a child between 12 and 17 years old who has a history of standing up and fighting for the rights of him/herself and other children.

Prizes

The winner will receive the statuette "Nkosi", a the "Desmond Tutu study and care fund" to enable the child to study and a worldwide platform to promote his/her ideals to the benefit of children's rights. 

Furthermore, KidsRights will invest a project fund of €100,000 in projects in the country of the winner.

• The International Children’s Peace Prize cannot be awarded posthumously; 
• Group nominations are possible provided that every individual in the group made a provable effort and co-initiated the activities that resulted in an exceptional difference in the rights of the child and the position of vulnerable children, anywhere in the world.
• Organisations are not accepted as eligible nominees.

Any person or organisation worldwide can nominate a changemaker between 12 and 17 years old who has a history of standing up and fighting for the rights of him/herself and other children.

Tutti gli anni KidsRights organizza un premio che intende premiare un/una ragazzo/a il cui coraggio o altri comportamenti straordinari  hanno avuto un impatto per quanto riguarda i diritti dei bambini di tutto il mondo. 

Il/la ragazzo/a deve:
- essere sopra i 12 anni e sotto i 18 anni di età; (non deve avere più di 17 anni al momento della scadenza della nomina), da tutto il mondo;
- avere una storia di lotta per i diritti per se stesso e gli altri bambini;
- capacità di viaggiare all'estero e sentirsi a proprio agio nel comunicare con altre persone;
- accettare di essere candidato per l'International Children's Peace Prize;
Il premio internazionale per la pace dei bambini non può essere assegnato postumo. Le nomine di gruppo sono possibili a condizione che ogni individuo del gruppo abbia fatto uno sforzo dimostrabile e abbia co-avviato le attività che hanno portato a una differenza eccezionale per i diritti del bambino e la posizione dei bambini vulnerabili, in qualsiasi parte del mondo.
Le organizzazioni non sono accettate come candidati idonei.

Premii

Câștigătorul/ câștigătoarea va primi statueta 'Nkosi (care ilustrează modul în care un copil pune lumea în mișcare), o bursă de studiu și de îngrijire, precum și accesul la o platformă mondială pentru promovarea idealurilor sale în beneficiul drepturilor copilului.

La candidatura dovrà far riferimento a un progetto che ha ricevuto il co-finanziamento UE del Fondo europeo di sviluppo regionale, del Fondo di coesione, del Fondo sociale europeo, del Fondo di transizione giusta o un progetto che ha ricevuto il finanziamento UE ai sensi di una delle componenti dei programmi Interreg, a partire dal 1° gennaio 2014. 

Per quanto riguarda il processo di selezione, un gruppo di accademici di alto livello nei rispettivi settori valuterà le domande presentate e selezionerà i finalisti. I finalisti saranno invitati a una "tornata finale" di selezione durante la Settimana delle Regioni dell'UE a Bruxelles.

Come negli anni precedenti, il pubblico avrà l'opportunità di votare il proprio finalista preferito per il Public Choice Award. Tutti i vincitori saranno annunciati durante la cerimonia REGIOSTARS a Ostrava (Repubblica Ceca) il 16 novembre 2023.

I vincitori delle sei categorie e il vincitore del Public Choice vinceranno una campagna di comunicazione locale gestita in collaborazione con la DG REGIO per promuovere le attività premiate nella regione.

Launched by the European Commission, the RegioStars Awards 2019 aim to identify good practice in regional development and to highlight original and innovative projects that could be an inspiration to other regions.

The Award Categories for 2019 are:

- Promoting digital transformation;
- Connecting the green, blue and grey;
- Combatting inequalities and poverty;
- Building climate-resilient cities;
- Modernising health services.

Who can apply:
Project managers (public or private) from all European regions, if their project has received support from the European Regional Development Fund, the Cohesion Fund, the European Social Fund or a project which has received EU funding under Interreg IPA-CBC or Interreg ENI-CBC programmes, after 1 January 2007.
The maximum number of applications per operational or cooperation programme is 5.

All finalists will be invited to a meeting with the Commissioner for regional policy combined with a training in July 2019.

They will also all be invited to the Award Ceremony in Brussels in October 2019 where the winners in the five categories and the winner of the public choice will receive their prize. The project manager and a representative from the managing authority will receive a REGIOSTARS trophy and a certificate from the European Commissioner for Regional Policy.

For each winner, a short video is produced, which will be unveiled during the ceremony and published online, followed by a promotional campaign.

Der von der Europäischen Umweltagentur (EUA) ins Leben gerufene Fotowettbewerb "Climate Change PIX" lädt Bürgerinnen und Bürger aus den teilnahmeberechtigten Ländern ab 18 Jahren dazu ein, sich wieder mit der Natur zu verbinden und all ihre Wunder mit der Kamera einzufangen.

Die Teilnehmer*innen können Fotos einreichen, die eine der folgenden vier Kategorien abbilden:

1.     Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die Natur
2.     Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die Gesellschaft
3.     Gesellschaftliche Lösungen für den Klimawandel
4.     Individuelle Maßnahmen zum Klimawandel
    

Die Gewinner*innen des Wettbewerbs erhalten einen Geldpreis in Höhe von 1.000 EUR in jeder Kategorie und 500 EUR für den Public Choice Award und den Jugendpreis.

Der Jugendpreis wird an den- oder diejenige vergeben, der aus den Beiträgen ausgewählt wird, die von Personen im Alter zwischen 18 und 24 Jahren (geboren zwischen den Kalenderjahren 1997 und 2003, beide eingeschlossen) in einer der vier Wettbewerbskategorien eingereicht wurden.

Lanciato dall'Agenzia europea dell'ambiente (AEA), il concorso fotografico "Well with Nature" invita i cittadini dei paesi eleggibili, a partire dai 18 anni, a cogliere i benefici della natura per la loro salute e il loro benessere. 

I partecipanti possono presentare fotografie che ritraggono una delle seguenti quattro categorie:
-Aria
-Acqua
-Terra
-Suono

Ammissibilità
Possono partecipare al concorso i cittadini dei seguenti paesi: Stati membri dell'UE, Islanda, Liechtenstein, Norvegia, Svizzera e Turchia; nell'ambito degli accordi di stabilizzazione e associazione: Macedonia del Nord, Albania, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Serbia e Bosnia-Erzegovina.

I vincitori del concorso riceveranno un premio in denaro di 1.000 euro per ogni categoria e di 500 euro per il premio Public Choice e il premio per i giovani.

Il premio per i giovani sarà assegnato alla proposta vincente, selezionata tra quelle presentate da persone di età compresa tra i 18 e i 24 anni (nati tra gli anni solari 1998-2004, entrambi inclusi) in una delle quattro categorie del concorso.
Tutti i finalisti saranno proposti per il Public Choice Award e potranno anche apparire nel futuro materiale digitale e cartaceo dell'AEA e dei suoi partner europei.

La votazione pubblica si svolgerà dal 24 ottobre al 7 novembre 2022.

Prémios

Os vencedores do concurso receberão um prémio em dinheiro de 1.000 euros em cada categoria e 500 euros para o Prémio Escolha do Público e o Prémio da Juventude.

O Prémio da Juventude será atribuído ao trabalho vencedor, selecionado entre os trabalhos apresentados por pessoas com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 24 anos em qualquer uma das três categorias do concurso.

Todos os finalistas serão propostos para o Prémio Escolha do Público e poderão também ser incluídos em futuros materiais digitais e impressos da AEA e dos seus parceiros europeus.

Lanzado al mercado por la Agencia Europea de Medio Ambiente (AEMA), el concurso invita a los ciudadanos de los países miembros del AEMA y países cooperantes del oeste de los Balcanes, de 18 años, para compartir sus pensamientos sobre el medio ambiente al hacer una foto que representa a personas o una historia genérica.

Cada participante puede presentar un máximo de cinco entradas de todo ello apoyado por un texto breve.

Los trabajos deben ser subidos a un sitio para compartir en línea, como Flickr, Shutterfly, Snapfish o Photobucket.

Los ganadores recibirán premios en efectivo de 2.000 euros para el 1 º premio, 1.500 euros para el segundo premio, 1.000 euros para el 3 º premio y 500 euros para el premio de la elección pública y el premio de la juventud.

Además, el Premio de la Juventud se otorgará a la obra ganadora, seleccionada entre las presentadas por personas de edades comprendidas entre 18 y 24 años (nacidos entre los años 1990 a 1996).

Todos los finalistas serán presentados para el Premio del Pueblo y pueden también ofrecer en el futuro material digital y de impresión de la AEMA y sus socios europeos.

Para el premio del público, la votación pública estará abierta desde octubre 15 hasta el 15 de noviembre de 2014.

Topics

Participants can submit photographs depicting any of the following three categories:
- Close-ups of nature;
- Nature on my doorstep;
- Zoom out on nature.

Prizes

• Competition winners will receive a cash prize of EUR 1,000 in each category and EUR 500 for the Public Choice award and the Youth Prize.
• The Youth Prize will be awarded to the winning entry, selected among those submitted by persons aged between 18 and 24 (born between calendar years 1996-2002, both included) to any of the three competition categories.

The European Youth Forum is launching the ‘European Youth Capital’ (EYC) 2028. This title is assigned to a European city for one year to empower young people, boost youth participation, and strengthen European identity. Each year, a new European city is given the chance to showcase its innovative ideas, projects, and activities that aim to raise young voices and bring a new youth perspective to all aspects of city life. 

The European Youth Capital initiative aims to support both young people and the city to open up these possibilities and lead the way for other European municipalities to follow. 

A city can become a European Youth Capital if it distinguishes itself in a positive way and has an ambitious programme for empowering youth.

Cities are asked to set out their vision to become the European Youth Capital 2028 and how it can empower young people, boost youth participation, and bring change to their city.

The folllowing key elements are essential to any application for the EYC title:

• Youth Participation
• Co-decision-making;
• European Dimension.

Eligibility

Any Local Authority (defined as a municipality or group of municipalities located in a common geographical area) from Member States of the Council of Europe.

Awards

The city awarded the title will be announced during the Award Ceremony in Ghent (Belgium), European Youth Capital 2028, taking place in November 2025.

Deadlines

- 11 February 2025 (23:59 CET), for submission of detailed application forms.

The application includes a fee of 300 Euros, to be paid before the deadline at the European Youth Forum.

L'initiative Capitale européenne de la jeunesse vise à aider les jeunes et la ville à ouvrir ces possibilités et à montrer la voie à d'autres municipalités européennes.

Le Forum européen de la jeunesse a organisé un webinaire le 11 janvier 2022, pour les villes intéressées par la candidature au titre de Capitale européenne de la jeunesse 2025.

Eligibilité
Ouvert à toute autorité locale (définie comme une municipalité ou un groupe de municipalités situées dans une zone géographique commune) des États membres du Conseil de l'Europe, qui sont parties à la Convention culturelle européenne adoptée en 1954 à Paris. Les municipalités candidates, ainsi que les structures de jeunesse participantes, sont invitées à présenter un programme à facettes multiples mettant en évidence leur approche de la participation des jeunes et leurs projets pour créer un meilleur environnement pour les jeunes dans leur ville.

Dates limites

• Le 21 février 2022 (à 23h59 CET), pour la soumission des notes conceptuelles. La demande comprend des frais de 300 euros, à payer avant la date limite au Forum européen de la jeunesse.

Una città può diventare una Capitale Europea della Gioventù se si distingue in modo positivo e ha un programma ambizioso per responsabilizzare i giovani. Le città sono invitate a presentare la propria visione per diventare la Capitale Europea della Gioventù 2025 e illustrare come dare potere ai giovani, accrescere la loro partecipazione e portare un cambiamento nella loro città.

Forumul European al Tineretului lansează "Capitala Europeană a Tineretului" (EYC) 2028. Acest titlu este atribuit unui oraș european timp de un an pentru a responsabiliza tinerii, a stimula participarea tinerilor și a consolida identitatea europeană. În fiecare an, unui nou oraș european i se oferă șansa de a-și prezenta ideile, proiectele și activitățile inovatoare menite să ridice vocea tinerilor și să aducă o nouă perspectivă a tinerilor în toate aspectele vieții orașului. 

Inițiativa „Capitala europeană a tineretului” își propune să sprijine atât tinerii, cât și orașul pentru a deschide aceste posibilități și pentru a deschide calea pe care alte municipalități europene să o urmeze. 

Un oraș poate deveni o Capitală europeană a tineretului dacă se distinge într-un mod pozitiv și are un program ambițios pentru responsabilizarea tinerilor.

Orașele sunt invitate să își definească viziunea de a deveni Capitala europeană a tineretului 2028 și modul în care aceasta îi poate responsabiliza pe tineri, poate stimula participarea tinerilor și poate aduce schimbări în orașul lor.

Următoarele elemente-cheie sunt esențiale pentru orice candidatură la titlul EYC:

El foro europeo de juventud lanza el programa Capital Juvenil Europea (EYC) 2018. Este título se asigna a una ciudad europea por un período de un año. La iniciativa capital europea de juventud  alienta al desarrollo de nuevas ideas y proyectos innovadores con respecto a la participación activa de los jóvenes en la sociedad y trate de presentar un modelo de desarrollo para otros municipios europeos. La primera capital de juventud europea es Rotterdam que se declaró capital juvenil europea 2009.

Una ciudad puede convertirse en capital juvenil europea si se distingue de forma positiva y tiene un programa ambicioso para la juventud. El título se confiere por un jurado constituido entre miembros de organizaciones de juventud europeas y socios institucionales. Por favor, lee los criterios de solicitud aquí.

Eligibilidad: 

Todos los municipios de los Estados Miembros de la Unión Europea y del Consejo de Europa pueden ser elegidos para conseguir el título de Capital Juvenil Europea.

How to take part

The European Youth Forum will host a webinar on 3 December 2020, for cities that are interested to apply for the European Youth Capital 2024 title.

Eligibility

Open to any Local Authority (defined as a municipality or group of municipalities located in a common geographical area) from Member States of the Council of Europe, which are parties to the European Cultural Convention adopted in 1954 in Paris. Applicant municipalities together with participating youth structures are invited to present a multi-faceted programme highlighting their approach to youth participation and plans for creating a better environment for young people in their cities.

- 17 January 2021 (23:59 CET), for submission of concept notes.
The application includes a fee of 300 Euros, to be paid before the deadline at the European Youth Forum.

The Mediterranean Capitals of Culture & Dialogue initiative, a joint project of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF), annually designates two cities, one from the northern and one from the southern Mediterranean, as Capitals of Culture and Dialogue.

Who can apply

Local or regional authorities representing cities in UfM member states (both coastal and inland) that have not previously held this title.

Selected cities will host a year-long programme of events celebrating Euro-Mediterranean diversity. 

The programme should:

• Highlight local cultural heritage and contemporary creativity;
• Address regional challenges identified by the UfM;
• Engage local cultural institutions, schools, and universities from across the Mediterranean region;
• Partner with civil society organisations, especially members of the ALF National Network;
• Cooperate with the other selected Capital city;
• Conclude with a major celebration on 28 November the Day of the Mediterranean.

Cine poate aplica?

Orașele selectate vor găzdui un program anual de evenimente de celebrare a diversității euro-mediteraneene. 

Programul trebuie:

• Să implice instituțiile culturale, școlile și universitățile locale din întreaga regiune mediteraneeană;
• Parteneriatul cu organizațiile societății civile, în special cu membrii rețelei naționale ALF;
• cooperarea cu cealaltă capitală selectată;
• Să se încheie cu o celebrare majoră la 28 noiembrie, Ziua Mediteranei.

The aim of the programme is to bring together high-school students from the EU Member States and offer them an immersive experience in the Chamber of the European Parliament. 
Each year Euroscola invites thousands to spend a day in Strasbourg and become Members of the European Parliament. 
Students experience a day as an MEP, they get the opportunity to interact and exchange information in a foreign language and they are also given the possibility to introduce their school and the region where they come from.

Budget/projectfinanciering

Aan de deelnemende scholen wordt een tegemoetkoming in de reiskosten verstrekt. Deze wordt berekend op basis van het aantal deelnemers en het aantal af te leggen kilometers. De subsidie verschilt dus per deelnemende groep.

Se invita a un grupo de aproximadamente 500 alumnos de la educación secundaria, normalmente de la misma edad, a pasar un día reflexionando juntos sobre los efectos que la integración europea tendrá en su futuro.

Objetivos:
-dar a la gente jóvenes una visión del funcionamiento del Parlamento Europeo;
-dar a los jóvenes una idea de Europa a lo largo de un día de reuniones y debates en temas europeos;
-hacerle conscientes de cuál es el significado el compromiso democrático.

Acciones:

The aim of the programme is to bring together school children for a day trip in Strasbourg. A group of about 500 secondary-school pupils, usually from the same age group, is invited to spend a day thinking together about the effects that European integration will have on their future.

Aims

• To give young people an insight into the workings of the European Parliament;
• To give young people a taste of Europe in a day of meetings and discussion on topical European subjects;
• To make them aware of what is meant by democratic commitement.

Actions:

• The pupils have to make full use of their knowledge of languages in order to communicate with their opposite numbers from the other European countries, since interpretation is limited;

The Climate Science Olympiad is inviting young people, under 25 years old, from around the world, to take part in the Climate Science Olympiad 2023, find a solution for the world's biggest climate change problem and become climate leaders of tomorrow. 

What it is

The Climate Science Olympiad will take place online, and consists of four rounds: Qualifier, Quarterfinal, Semi finals and Finals.

Problems will cover 7 different topics: clean energy, agriculture, water resources, biodiversity, sustainable economy, sustainable transportation, and global development. 

Who can apply 

Students and young people between under 16 and 25 years old. They can participate alone or in a team of two. 

How to apply

Participants need to simply register here. The qualifying round is a 25-minute climate quiz, which can be taken online at any time.

Schools can register their qualifier events to allow all students to participate in sync. Upon verification, schools can also get printable versions of the sheets and conduct exams in paper form.

Early Bird participants can attempt the Qualifier up to 5 times. Regular participants can attempt the Qualifier up to 3 times. Take part in the referral programme to get 1 additional attempt per person you refer.

Prizes

All participants will be awarded a certificate for participation, a notable addition to any college application or resume.

Every Finalist is awarded a Bronze Medal certificate, and the top 20 and top 10 will be awarded a Silver and Gold Medal certificate, respectively.

Winners of the Climate Science Olympiad in 2024 will be awarded cash or a sponsored trip to Australia at the COP29 UN Climate Summit.

Олимпиадата по изучаване на климата кани млади хора под 25 години от цял свят да участват в изданието за 2023 г., да намерят решение за най-големия проблем с изменението на климата в света и да станат бъдещите лидери по въпросите на климата.

Олимпиадата по изучаване на климата ще се проведе онлайн и се състои от четири кръга: квалификации, четвъртфинал, полуфинали и финали.

Първите два кръга са тест с избираеми отговори. В последните два кръга се изисква подробно предложение за решаване на климатичен проблем от реалния свят.

Проблемите ще обхващат 7 различни теми: чиста енергия, селско стопанство, водни ресурси, биоразнообразие, устойчива икономика, устойчив транспорт и глобално развитие.

Студенти и младежи между 16 и 25 години. Те могат да участват самостоятелно или в екип от двама.

Как да кандидатствам

L'Olympiade des sciences du climat invite les jeunes de moins de 25 ans du monde entier à participer à l'Olympiade des sciences du climat 2024, à trouver une solution au plus grand problème du changement climatique dans le monde et à devenir les leaders de demain en matière de climat.

Qu'est-ce que c'est ?

L'Olympiade des sciences du climat se déroulera en ligne et comprendra quatre épreuves : Qualification, quart de finale, demi-finale et finale.

Les deux premières épreuves sont des questionnaires à choix multiples. Dans les deux derniers tours, une proposition détaillée est requise pour résoudre un problème climatique réel.

Les problèmes porteront sur 7 sujets différents : énergie propre, agriculture, ressources en eau, biodiversité, économie durable, transport durable et développement mondial.

Qui peut postuler ?

Les étudiants et les jeunes de moins de 16 ans et de moins de 25 ans. Ils peuvent participer seuls ou en équipe de deux.

Comment s'inscrire ?

Les participants doivent simplement s'inscrire ici. L'épreuve de qualification est un quiz sur le climat d'une durée de 25 minutes, qui peut se faire en ligne à tout moment.

Les écoles peuvent enregistrer leurs épreuves éliminatoires pour permettre à tous les élèves de participer à la synchronisation. Après vérification, les écoles peuvent également obtenir des versions imprimables des feuilles et organiser des examens sur papier.

Les participants peuvent tenter la qualification jusqu'à 3 fois. Participez au programme de parrainage pour obtenir une tentative supplémentaire par personne parrainée.

Prix

Tous les participants se verront décerner un certificat de participation, qui pourra être ajouté à leur demande d'admission à l'université ou à leur curriculum vitae.

Chaque finaliste recevra une médaille de bronze, et les 20 premiers et les 10 premiers recevront respectivement une médaille d'argent et une médaille d'or.

Die Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade lädt junge Menschen unter 25 Jahren aus der ganzen Welt ein, an der Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade 2023 teilzunehmen, eine Lösung für das weltweit größte Problem des Klimawandels zu finden und die führenden Klimaschützer von morgen zu werden.

Worum es geht

Die Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade findet online statt und besteht aus vier Runden: Qualifikationsrunde, Viertelfinale, Halbfinale und Finale.

Die ersten beiden Runden bestehen aus einem Multiple-Choice-Quiz. In den letzten beiden Runden wird ein detaillierter Vorschlag zur Lösung eines realen Klimaproblems verlangt.

Die Probleme werden 7 verschiedene Themen abdecken: saubere Energie, Landwirtschaft, Wasserressourcen, biologische Vielfalt, nachhaltige Wirtschaft, nachhaltiger Transport und globale Entwicklung.

Wer kann sich bewerben?

Studierende und junge Menschen zwischen 16 und 25 Jahren. Sie können allein oder in Zweierteams teilnehmen.

Wie man sich bewirbt

Die Teilnehmer müssen sich einfach hier anmelden. Die Qualifikationsrunde ist ein 25-minütiges Klimaquiz, das jederzeit online absolviert werden kann.

Schulen können ihre Qualifikationsveranstaltungen registrieren, damit alle SchülerInnen synchron teilnehmen können. Nach Überprüfung können die Schulen auch druckbare Versionen der Bögen erhalten und die Prüfungen in Papierform durchführen.

Early Bird-Teilnehmer können den Test bis zu 5 Mal wiederholen. Reguläre Teilnehmer können den Test bis zu 3 Mal wiederholen. Wenn Sie am Empfehlungsprogramm teilnehmen, erhalten Sie 1 zusätzlichen Versuch pro geworbener Person.

Preise

Alle Teilnehmer erhalten ein Teilnahmezertifikat, das sich in jeder Bewerbung oder jedem Lebenslauf sehen lassen kann.

Jeder Finalist erhält eine Bronzemedaille, die Top 20 und die Top 10 erhalten eine Silber- bzw. Goldmedaille.

Den Gewinnern der Klima-Wissenschaftsolympiade 2024 winken Geldpreise oder eine gesponserte Reise nach Australien zum UN-Klimagipfel COP29.

What it is

The Climate Science Olympiad will take place online, and consists of four rounds: Qualifier, Quarterfinal, Semi finals and Finals.

The first two rounds are a multiple-choice quiz. In the last two rounds a detailed proposal is required to solve a real-world climate problem. 

Problems will cover 7 different topics: clean energy, agriculture, water resources, biodiversity, sustainable economy, sustainable transportation, and global development. 

Who can apply 

Students and young people between under 16 and 25 years old. They can participate alone or in a team of two. 

How to apply

• Participants need to simply register here. The qualifying round is a 25-minute climate quiz, which can be taken online at any time.
• Schools can register their qualifier events to allow all students to participate in sync. Upon verification, schools can also get printable versions of the sheets and conduct exams in paper form.
• Early Bird participants can attempt the Qualifier up to 5 times. Regular participants can attempt the Qualifier up to 3 times. Take part in the referral programme to get 1 additional attempt per person you refer.

Prizes

All participants will be awarded a certificate for participation, a notable addition to any college application or resume.

Every Finalist is awarded a Bronze Medal certificate, and the top 20 and top 10 will be awarded a Silver and Gold Medal certificate, respectively.

Winners of the Climate Science Olympiad in 2024 will be awarded cash or a sponsored trip to Australia at the COP29 UN Climate Summit.

Le Olimpiadi delle Scienze Climatiche invitano i giovani, sotto i 25 anni, di tutto il mondo, a partecipare alle Olimpiadi delle Scienze Climatiche 2023, a trovare una soluzione per il più grande problema di cambiamento climatico del mondo e a diventare i leader climatici di domani. 

Che cos'è
Le Olimpiadi delle Scienze Climatiche si svolgeranno online e sono suddivise in quattro round: Qualificazione, Quarti di finale, Semifinali e Finali. I primi due round sono un quiz a scelta multipla. Negli ultimi due round è richiesta una proposta dettagliata per risolvere un problema climatico del mondo reale.

Chi può candidarsi 
Studenti e giovani tra i 16 e i 25 anni. Possono partecipare da soli o in una squadra di due persone.

Il round di qualificazione è un quiz sul clima di 25 minuti, che può essere fatto online in qualsiasi momento. Le scuole possono registrare i loro eventi di qualificazione per permettere a tutti gli studenti di partecipare in sincronia. Dopo la verifica, le scuole possono anche ottenere versioni stampabili dei fogli e condurre gli esami in forma cartacea. Olimpiada de Științe Climatice invită tinerii sub 25 de ani din întreaga lume să participe la Olimpiada de Științe Climatice, ediția 2024, ca să găsească o soluție la cea mai mare problemă a schimbărilor climatice și să devină liderii climatici de mâine. 

Despre ce este vorba

Olimpiada de științe climatice se va desfășura online și constă în patru runde: calificări, sferturi de finală, semifinale și finală.

Primele două runde constau într-un test cu variante multiple de răspuns. În ultimele două runde este necesară o propunere detaliată pentru a rezolva o problemă climatică din lumea reală. 

Problemele vor acoperi 7 subiecte diferite: energie curată, agricultură, resurse de apă, biodiversitate, economie durabilă, transport sustenabil și dezvoltare globală. 

Cine se poate înscrie 

Studenți și tineri cu vârste cuprinse între 16 și 25 de ani. Aceștia pot participa singuri sau într-o echipă de două persoane. 

Cum te poți înscrie

Cei interesați trebuie să se înregistreze aici. Proba de calificare este un test de 25 de minute despre climă, care poate fi făcut online, în orice moment.

Școlile își pot înscrie probele de calificare pentru a permite tuturor elevilor să participe sincronizat. După verificare, școlile pot obține, de asemenea, versiuni imprimabile ale fișelor și pot desfășura examenele pe suport de hârtie.

Fiecare persoană poate participa de până la 3 ori, plus 1 pentru fiecare persoană pe care o recomandă.

Premii

Toți participanții vor primi câte un certificat de participare, o completare notabilă pentru orice cerere de înscriere la facultate sau CV.

Fiecare finalist va primi un certificat cu medalie de bronz, iar primii 20 și primii 10 clasați vor primi un certificat cu medalie de argint și, respectiv, de aur.

Câștigătorii Olimpiadei de Științe ale Climei din 2024 vor primi bani sau o excursie sponsorizată în Australia la Summitul ONU privind clima COP29.

The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum, the global platform for dialogue between Member States and young leaders worldwide is taking place from 15 to 17 April 2025, at the UN in New York.

The Forum will support 15 young people from diverse backgrounds to participate in the event in person.

Eligibility

- Young people from diverse backgrounds;

- Between 18-35 years old;

- Young people interested in participating in all sessions and preparatory meetings leading up to the event.

A virtuális esemény középpontjában "A COVID-19 helyreállításának felgyorsítása és a 2030-ig tartó menetrend teljes körű végrehajtása a fiatalokkal és a fiatalokért" áll, kiemelve a fiatalok szerepét a COVID-19 utáni helyreállításban és a társadalmi, gazdasági és környezeti átalakulás előmozdításában.

The Forum will provide young people a platform to engage in a dialogue with Member States and other actors to voice their views, concerns and galvanize actions on how to transform the world into a fairer, greener and more sustainable place guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Youth Forum will specifically be reviewing the progress of SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation, SDG 7 on affordable and clean energy, SDG 9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure, SDG 11 on sustainable cities and communities, and SDG 17 on partnerships for sustainable development. The third day of the Forum will be specifically dedicated for the preparation towards the SDG Summit.

Il Forum della Gioventù del Consiglio Economico e Sociale (ECOSOC) si terrà il 19 e 20 aprile 2022. Sarà un evento virtuale che coinvolgerà i giovani di tutto il mondo. Fornirà una piattaforma globale per un dialogo tra gli Stati membri e i giovani leader sulle soluzioni alle sfide che riguardano il benessere dei giovani. 

Il Forum del 2022 si svolge in un momento critico della ripresa dalla pandemia di COVID-19. Sarà un'opportunità per i giovani di condividere le loro prospettive su come trasformare il mondo in un luogo più equo e sostenibile e raggiungere gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile (SDGs) in mezzo alla crisi che ancora permane. 

Affronterà il tema dell'ECOSOC e del Forum politico di alto livello delle Nazioni Unite sullo sviluppo sostenibile (HLPF) del 2022 su "Ricostruire dopo la COVID- 19 mentre si avanza con la piena attuazione dell'Agenda 2030".

The Schwarzkopf-Foundation Young Europe aims to develop politically conscious and responsible young individuals and to foster support for the European process.

Every year the Schwarzkopf Foundation awards, in co-operation with the European Youth Parliament the "The Young Europeans of the Year".

This opportunity allows for the nomination of a young person between 18 and 26 years old, in the year of receiving the prize, who has demonstrated a commitment to improving Europe through efforts toward a pluralistic, open, and supportive society or in the fight against injustice and discrimination.

Candidates should have achieved outstanding results and aspire to actively advocate for their ideas in the future.

The award, totaling EUR 5,000 can be used for an internship at a European institution or to fund a project promoting European integration and solidarity

Le prix du Jeune Européen de l'année est décerné à de jeunes Européens âgés de 18 à 26 ans qui ont fait preuve d'un engagement exceptionnel en faveur d'une Europe pacifique, diversifiée et inclusive.

Les candidats doivent avoir obtenu des résultats remarquables et aspirer à défendre activement leurs idées à l'avenir.

Le prix, d'un montant total de 5 000 €, peut être utilisé pour effectuer un stage dans une institution européenne ou pour financer un projet visant à promouvoir l'intégration et la solidarité européennes.
