The European Youth Forum is launching the ‘European Youth Capital’ (EYC) 2026. This title is assigned to a European city for a period of one year during to empower young people, boost youth participation and strengthen European identity. Each year, a new European city is given the chance to showcase its innovative ideas, projects and activities that aim to raise up young voices and bring a new youth perspective to all aspects of city life. 
The European Youth Capital initiative aims to support both young people and the city to open up these possibilities and lead the way for other European municipalities to follow.

A city can become a European Youth Capital if it distinguishes itself in a positive way and has an ambitious programme for empowering youth.
Cities are asked to set out their vision to become the European Youth Capital 2026 and how it can empower young people, boost youth participation, and bring change to their city.

The European Youth Forum will host a webinar on 10 January 2026, for cities that are interested to apply for the European Youth Capital 2026 title.

Eligibility
Open to any Local Authority (defined as a municipality or group of municipalities located in a common geographical area) from Member States of the Council of Europe, which are parties to the European Cultural Convention adopted in 1954 in Paris. 
Applicant municipalities together with participating youth structures are invited to present a multi-faceted programme highlighting their approach to youth participation and plans for creating a better environment for young people in their cities.

Awards
The city awarded the title will be announced during the Award Ceremony in Lublin (Poland), European Youth Capital 2023, taking place in November 2023.

Deadlines
-  6 February 2023 (23:59 CET), for submission of concept notes.
The application includes a fee of 300 Euros, to be paid before the deadline at the European Youth Forum.

- 5 June 2023 (23:59 CET), for submission of detailed application forms.

Le Forum européen de la jeunesse lance la "Capitale européenne de la jeunesse" (CEJ) 2025. Ce titre est attribué à une ville européenne pour une période d'un an afin de donner plus de pouvoir aux jeunes, de stimuler leur participation et de renforcer l'identité européenne. Chaque année, une nouvelle ville européenne se voit offrir la possibilité de présenter ses idées, projets et activités innovants visant à faire entendre la voix des jeunes et à apporter une nouvelle perspective de la jeunesse à tous les aspects de la vie urbaine. L'initiative Capitale européenne de la jeunesse vise à aider les jeunes et la ville à ouvrir ces possibilités et à montrer la voie à d'autres municipalités européennes.

Le Forum européen de la jeunesse a organisé un webinaire le 11 janvier 2022, pour les villes intéressées par la candidature au titre de Capitale européenne de la jeunesse 2025.

Eligibilité
Ouvert à toute autorité locale (définie comme une municipalité ou un groupe de municipalités situées dans une zone géographique commune) des États membres du Conseil de l'Europe, qui sont parties à la Convention culturelle européenne adoptée en 1954 à Paris. Les municipalités candidates, ainsi que les structures de jeunesse participantes, sont invitées à présenter un programme à facettes multiples mettant en évidence leur approche de la participation des jeunes et leurs projets pour créer un meilleur environnement pour les jeunes dans leur ville.

Dates limites

• Le 21 février 2022 (à 23h59 CET), pour la soumission des notes conceptuelles. La demande comprend des frais de 300 euros, à payer avant la date limite au Forum européen de la jeunesse.

Teilnahmeberechtigung
Offen für alle Gebietskörperschaften (definiert als eine Gemeinde oder eine Gruppe von Gemeinden, die in einem gemeinsamen geographischen Gebiet liegen) aus den Mitgliedstaaten des Europarates, die Vertragsparteien des 1954 in Paris angenommenen Europäischen Kulturabkommens sind.

Az Európai Ifjúsági Fórum (European Youth Forum) felhívást tesz közzé az Európa ifjúsági Fővárosa 2025 címre. Az Európa Ifjúsági Fővárosa címet egy európai város kaphatja meg egyéves időtartamra annak érdekében, hogy növelje a fiatalok részvételét és megerősítse európai identitásukat.
Az egy év alatt az Európai Ifjúsági Fővárosa címet elnyert városnak lehetősége nyílik bemutatni azokat az innovatív ötleteit, projektjeit és tevékenységeit, amelyekkel célja, hogy fiatalos perspektívát vigyen a város életébe. Az Európai Ifjúsági Főváros című kezdeményezés célja, hogy mind a fiatalok mind a város nyitottá váljanak ezekre a lehetőségekre, és példát mutassanak más európai önkormányzatok számára is.

Az Európai Ifjúsági Főváros pozitív hatással bír számos területen:

• Új lehetőségeket nyit meg
• Pozitív változásokat hoz

Questo titolo viene assegnato a una città europea per un periodo di un anno durante il quale si intende conferire più potere ai giovani  e rafforzare la loro partecipazione, rafforzare l'identità europea. Ogni anno, una nuova città europea ha la possibilità di mostrare le sue idee innovative, i progetti e le attività che mirano a dare voce ai giovani e portare una nuova prospettiva a tutti gli aspetti della vita cittadina. 

Una città può diventare una Capitale Europea della Gioventù se si distingue in modo positivo e ha un programma ambizioso per responsabilizzare i giovani. Le città sono invitate a presentare la propria visione per diventare la Capitale Europea della Gioventù 2025 e illustrare come dare potere ai giovani, accrescere la loro partecipazione e portare un cambiamento nella loro città. 

Il titolo è conferito da una giuria  congiunta di organizzazioni giovanili europee e partner istituzionali.

La capitale europea della gioventù crea un impatto positivo in molti settori:

Forumul European al Tineretului lansează "Capitala Europeană a Tineretului" (EYC) 2026. Eligibilitate

El foro europeo de juventud lanza el programa Capital Juvenil Europea (EYC) 2018. Este título se asigna a una ciudad europea por un período de un año. La iniciativa capital europea de juventud  alienta al desarrollo de nuevas ideas y proyectos innovadores con respecto a la participación activa de los jóvenes en la sociedad y trate de presentar un modelo de desarrollo para otros municipios europeos. La primera capital de juventud europea es Rotterdam que se declaró capital juvenil europea 2009.

Una ciudad puede convertirse en capital juvenil europea si se distingue de forma positiva y tiene un programa ambicioso para la juventud. El título se confiere por un jurado constituido entre miembros de organizaciones de juventud europeas y socios institucionales. Por favor, lee los criterios de solicitud aquí.

Eligibilidad: 

Todos los municipios de los Estados Miembros de la Unión Europea y del Consejo de Europa pueden ser elegidos para conseguir el título de Capital Juvenil Europea.

The Climate Science Olympiad is inviting young people, under 25 years old, from around the world, to take part in the Climate Science Olympiad 2023, find a solution for the world's biggest climate change problem and become climate leaders of tomorrow. 

What it is

The Climate Science Olympiad will take place online, and consists of four rounds: Qualifier, Quarterfinal, Semi finals and Finals.

The first two rounds are a multiple-choice quiz. In the last two rounds a detailed proposal is required to solve a real-world climate problem. 

Problems will cover 7 different topics: clean energy, agriculture, water resources, biodiversity, sustainable economy, sustainable transportation, and global development. 

Who can apply 

Students and young people between under 16 and 25 years old. They can participate alone or in a team of two. 

How to apply

Participants need to simply register here. The qualifying round is a 25-minute climate quiz, which can be taken online at any time.

Schools can register their qualifier events to allow all students to participate in sync. Upon verification, schools can also get printable versions of the sheets and conduct exams in paper form.

Each person can participate up to 3 times plus 1 per person they refer.

Prizes

The top 10 teams will be awarded the following:

• 1^st - $5000
• 2^nd - $3000
• 3^rd - $2000
• 4^th-7^th - $1000 each 
• 8^th-10^th - $500 each

In addition to the prize money, winners will also get a chance to present their solutions at the United Nations Climate Summit 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Олимпиадата по изучаване на климата кани млади хора под 25 години от цял свят да участват в изданието за 2023 г., да намерят решение за най-големия проблем с изменението на климата в света и да станат бъдещите лидери по въпросите на климата.

Олимпиадата по изучаване на климата ще се проведе онлайн и се състои от четири кръга: квалификации, четвъртфинал, полуфинали и финали.

Как да кандидатствам

Le Olimpiadi delle Scienze Climatiche invitano i giovani, sotto i 25 anni, di tutto il mondo, a partecipare alle Olimpiadi delle Scienze Climatiche 2023, a trovare una soluzione per il più grande problema di cambiamento climatico del mondo e a diventare i leader climatici di domani. 

Che cos'è
Le Olimpiadi delle Scienze Climatiche si svolgeranno online e sono suddivise in quattro round: Qualificazione, Quarti di finale, Semifinali e Finali. I primi due round sono un quiz a scelta multipla. Negli ultimi due round è richiesta una proposta dettagliata per risolvere un problema climatico del mondo reale. 

I problemi riguarderanno 7 diversi argomenti: energia pulita, agricoltura, risorse idriche, biodiversità, economia sostenibile, trasporto sostenibile e sviluppo globale. 

Chi può candidarsi 
Studenti e giovani tra i 16 e i 25 anni. Possono partecipare da soli o in una squadra di due persone. 

Come iscriversi
I partecipanti devono semplicemente registrarsi qui.
Il round di qualificazione è un quiz sul clima di 25 minuti, che può essere fatto online in qualsiasi momento. Le scuole possono registrare i loro eventi di qualificazione per permettere a tutti gli studenti di partecipare in sincronia. Dopo la verifica, le scuole possono anche ottenere versioni stampabili dei fogli e condurre gli esami in forma cartacea. Ogni persona può partecipare fino a 3 volte più 1 per ogni persona a cui fa riferimento.

Despre ce este vorba

Olimpiada de științe climatice se va desfășura online și constă în patru runde: calificări, sferturi de finală, semifinale și finală.

Primele două runde constau într-un test cu variante multiple de răspuns. În ultimele două runde este necesară o propunere detaliată pentru a rezolva o problemă climatică din lumea reală. 

Problemele vor acoperi 7 subiecte diferite: energie curată, agricultură, resurse de apă, biodiversitate, economie durabilă, transport sustenabil și dezvoltare globală. 

Cine se poate înscrie 

Studenți și tineri cu vârste cuprinse între 16 și 25 de ani. Aceștia pot participa singuri sau într-o echipă de două persoane. 

Cum te poți înscrie

Cei interesați trebuie să se înregistreze aici. Proba de calificare este un test de 25 de minute despre climă, care poate fi făcut online, în orice moment.

Școlile își pot înscrie probele de calificare pentru a permite tuturor elevilor să participe sincronizat. După verificare, școlile pot obține, de asemenea, versiuni imprimabile ale fișelor și pot desfășura examenele pe suport de hârtie.

Fiecare persoană poate participa de până la 3 ori, plus 1 pentru fiecare persoană pe care o recomandă.

DepicT! este un festival internaţional de scurtmetraje care le oferă tinerilor regizori din întreaga lume oportunitatea de a-şi prezenta filmul la Festivalului de scurtmetraje şi animaţie Encounters şi de a câştiga până la 2.500 de lire sterline, expunere publică şi alte premii exclusive. 

Condiții de participare

El Concurso Internacional de Cortometrajes ofrece a los jóvenes cineastas de todo el mundo la oportunidad de mostrar su talento durante los encuentros del Festival de Cortometrajes y Animación y tener la oportunidad de ganar hasta 3.000 £,  una exposición y otros premios exclusivos.

Los cortometrajes deben tener menos de 90 segundos de duración, estar realizado en cualquier técnica de producción (con excepción de los anuncios) y haber sido terminado después de septiembre de 2012.

Natečaj finančno podpira Fundacija Goi Peace, ki je Unescov partner za Mednarodno desetletje kulture miru in nenasilja za vse otroke sveta (2001 – 2010). Cilj natečaja je omogočiti mladim sodelovanje v ustvarjanju kulture miru.

Tema letošnjega mednarodnega natečaja za mlade za najboljši esej je »Moja vloga pri ustvarjanju boljšega sveta". Prosim izrazite svojo vizijo mirnega in harmoničnega sveta in kako lahko ti in mladi pripomorete k doseganju te vizije.
Prosim oddajte vaše inovativne ideje in konkretne načrte / projekte, ki se nanašajo na družbene, kulturne, okoljske ali ekonomske težave, s katerimi se sooča vaša skupnost.

Navodila
1. Avtorji esejev ne smejo biti starejši od 25 let. Kategorije: otroci (do 14 let), mladostniki (15 – 25 let)
2. Eseji morajo biti napisani v angleščini, španščini, nemščini ali francoščini in ne smejo biti daljši kot 800 besed.
3. Na naslovnici eseja morajo biti navedeni naslednji podatlki: kategorija (otroci ali mladostniki), naslov eseja, ime in priimek, naslov prebivališča, telefonska številka in številka faksa, elektronski naslov, državljanstvo, starost, dopolnjena po 30. juniju 2008, spol, ime šole in razred ali stopnja izobrazbe, število besed v eseju.  Učitelji voditelji skupin mladih lahko predložijo zbirko esejev iz njihovega razreda ali skupine. Priložite seznam udeležencev ter ime in kontaktne podatke učitelja ali voditelja, ki predlaga eseje.
4. Eseje se lahko pošlje s pisemskimi pošiljkami ali po elektronski pošti.
5. Eseji morajo biti v originalu in še neobjavljeni.
6. Esej ima lahko samo enega avtorja.

Tema:
El tema de este año del Concurso Internacional de Redacción es ‘mi papel es ser ciudadano de la tierra".En nuestro mundo de hoy, nos enfrentamos a numerosos problemas: destrucción ambiental, agotamiento de recursos, las guerras y los conflictos, la pobreza, y muchos más que hacen de nuestro futuro incierto. Dada esta situación, ¿qué cree usted que es el mejor camino a seguir para la humanidad? ¿Cómo desea cumplir con su papel como ciudadano de la Tierra?

Pautas:
1.Las redacciones pueden presentarse por cualquier persona hasta los 25 años (hasta el 15 de junio de 2014)en una de las siguientes categorías: niños (hasta los 14 años); jóvenes (de 15 a 25 años).

The theme of this year's International Essay Contest is "A Letter from Myself in 2030".

• Imagine what an ideal world ten years from now would be like.
• Write a letter from yourself in 2030 to your present (2020) self, in which you describe the state of the world, the way people are living, and what you, yourself, are doing in society. In addition, include any important message that you might wish to tell your present self.

Guidelines

1. Essays may be submitted by anyone up to 25 years old (as of 15 June 2020) in one of the following age categories: Children (ages up to 14); Youth (ages 15 - 25).
2. Essays must be Essays must be 700 words or less, typed or printed in English, Spanish, German, French or 1600 characters or less in Japanese, typed or printed.

The World Forum for Democracy is an annual gathering of leaders, opinion-makers, civil society activists, representatives of business, social innovators, academia, and media to debate key challenges for democracies worldwide and encourage democratic innovation. The 2023 edition, taking place in Strasbourg (France) from 6 to 8 November 2023, will focus on the topic of "Democracy= Peace?".

The labs are the heart of the World Forum for Democracy. Their idea is to address specific issues through the critical analysis of tested initiatives.
The labs will allow participants to learn about ground-breaking initiatives that offer responses to the key questions above based on an analysis of their real impact and replicability.
The initiatives should help understand how democracy and democratic institutions and practices can help accelerate the fight against democratic backsliding.

The initiatives should be presented in short speeches of ten minutes and critically assessed by multidisciplinary panels and participants in the labs.

How to apply
Interested public or private organisations worldwide are invited to express their interest in presenting an initiative aimed at enhancing democracy and reversing democratic decline from all over the world.

Examples of possible initiatives and their challenges (non-exhaustive):

• Innovative forms of civic engagement and public-private partnerships
• Cross-border partnerships related to democratic governance and peacebuilding
• Advocacy for  underrepresented groups, women, minorities, children, indigenous communities, immigrants, refugees and non-citizens (stateless and undocumented persons)
• Fostering democracy and peace through education, new platforms for conflict resolution and peace-building 
• Learning from the past, fighting historical revisionism, innovative approaches to presenting the past, i.e. museums, media, collaborative events, documentaries, multi-perspectivity 
• Public accountability, anti-corruption, transparency of public and private finance
• Addressing the wealth gap, new ways of lifting people out of poverty, crowdfunding activism, social enterprises, rural development 
• Reconciliation and trust-building processes, truth-telling, restorative justice
• Protection for activists promoting peace and non-violence as a way of life
• Promoting social, economic and or civic empowerment of women and girls
• Study, data collection or analysis of hate crimes, extremism, inequalities, polarisation, propaganda, cyber warfare etc. 
• Alternative economic practices.

Il Forum mondiale per la democrazia è un incontro annuale di leader, opinionisti, attivisti della società civile, rappresentanti delle imprese, innovatori sociali, del mondo accademico e dei media per discutere le sfide chiave per le democrazie di tutto il mondo e incoraggiare l'innovazione democratica. L'edizione del 2022, che si svolgerà a Strasburgo (Francia) dal 7 al 9 novembre 2022, sarà incentrata sul tema "Democrazia: Una nuova speranza?".

I laboratori sono il cuore del Forum mondiale per la democrazia. L'idea è quella di affrontare questioni specifiche attraverso l'analisi critica di iniziative sperimentate. I laboratori permetteranno ai partecipanti di conoscere iniziative innovative che offrono risposte alle domande chiave di cui sopra sulla base di un'analisi del loro impatto reale e della loro replicabilità. Le iniziative dovrebbero aiutare a capire come la democrazia e le istituzioni e le pratiche democratiche possano contribuire ad accelerare la lotta contro il regresso democratico.
Le iniziative dovrebbero essere presentate in brevi discorsi di dieci minuti e valutate criticamente da panel multidisciplinari e dai partecipanti ai laboratori.

Come candidarsi
Le organizzazioni pubbliche o private interessate di tutto il mondo sono invitate ad esprimere il loro interesse a presentare un'iniziativa volta a rafforzare la democrazia e ad invertire il declino democratico da tutto il mondo.

Esempi di possibili iniziative e le loro sfide (non esaustivo):
- Democrazia deliberativa e politica pubblica
- Costruire comunità resilienti, partecipative e connesse attraverso nuove forme di impegno civico e partnership pubblico-privato

- Mostrare modelli democratici non tradizionali che migliorano la partecipazione dei cittadini

- Promuovere la responsabilità dei funzionari eletti e la loro comunicazione con i cittadini, colpire la corruzione, migliorare l'integrità della vita pubblica
- Processi di riconciliazione, racconto della verità, giustizia riparativa
- Advocacy, protezione, sostegno o aiuto agli attivisti che promuovono i valori democratici
- Promozione del dialogo interculturale, della diversità culturale e dell'espressione artistica come metodo di impegno dei cittadini con la democrazia
- Incentivi alla governance etica, alla partecipazione democratica o disincentivi a comportamenti sociali polarizzanti e intolleranti e all'estremismo politico
- Prevenire la sovversione dei processi democratici, sostenere il fact-checking e contrastare i pregiudizi
- Inclusione di non cittadini, bambini o altri gruppi esclusi nel processo democratico
- Monitoraggio dei crimini d'odio, estremismo, disuguaglianze, polarizzazione o altre tendenze sociali/politiche negative

Forumul mondial pentru democrație de la Strasbourg este o reuniune anuală a liderilor, factorilor de decizie, activiștilor din societatea civilă, reprezentanților mediului de afaceri, a persoanelor inovatoare din domeniul social, a reprezentanților mediului academic și din mass-media dedicată dezbaterilor privind principalele provocări cu care se confruntă democrațiile din întreaga lume și încurajării inovării în domeniul democrației. Ediția 2023 va avea loc la Strasbourg (Franța), în perioada 8 – 9 noiembrie 2023 și se va concentra pe tema "Democrația = Pace?".

Laboratoarele reprezintă punctul central al Forumului mondial pentru democrație. Prin intermediul acestora se urmărește abordarea unor aspecte specifice prin analiza critică a inițiativelor testate.

Laboratoarele vor permite participanților să învețe despre inițiative inovatoare care oferă răspunsuri la întrebările cheie de mai sus pe baza unei analize a impactului real și a faptului că pot fi replicate.

Inițiativele trebuie să contribuie la înțelegerea modului în care democrația și instituțiile și practicile democratice pot contribui la accelerarea luptei împotriva regresului democratic.

Inițiativele trebuie prezentate în discursuri scurte de zece minute și evaluate critic de către grupurile multidisciplinare și participanți în cadrul laboratoarelor.

Cine poate să candideze

Organizațiile publice sau private interesate din întreaga lume sunt invitate să își exprime interesul de a prezenta o inițiativă menită să consolideze democrația și să inverseze declinul democratic din întreaga lume.

• Forme inovatoare de implicare civică și parteneriate public-privat
• Parteneriate transfrontaliere legate de guvernanța democratică și consolidarea păcii
• Apărarea grupurilor subreprezentate, a femeilor, a minorităților, a copiilor, a comunităților indigene, a imigranților, a refugiaților și a persoanelor fără cetățenie (apatrizi și persoane fără documente).
• Promovarea democrației și a păcii prin educație, noi platforme pentru soluționarea conflictelor și consolidarea păcii 
• Învățarea din trecut, combaterea revizionismului istoric, abordări inovatoare de prezentare a trecutului, de exemplu, muzee, mass-media, evenimente colaborative, documentare, multiperspectivități 
• Responsabilitatea publică, anticorupția, transparența finanțelor publice și private
• Abordarea decalajului de bogăție, noi modalități de scoatere a oamenilor din sărăcie, activism de crowdfunding, întreprinderi sociale, dezvoltare rurală 
• Procesele de reconciliere și de consolidare a încrederii, aflarea adevărului, justiția restaurativă
• Protecția activiștilor care promovează pacea și non-violența ca mod de viață
• Promovarea emancipării sociale, economice și/sau civice a femeilor și fetelor
• Studiul, colectarea de date sau analiza infracțiunilor motivate de ură, a extremismului, a inegalităților, a polarizării, a propagandei, a războiului cibernetic etc. 
• Practici economice alternative.

The Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Institute of the Mediterranean are calling the 16^th year of the international short story contest ”A Sea of Words” aimed at young people from the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Under the motto "Artificial Intelligence and Youths: Ethical Commitment and Critical Thinking”,  young authors are invited to write a story about the impact of AI in their societies, particularly emphasising the dilemmas in terms of ethical values and criteria that it poses and how to promote talent and creativity in the face of exploitation and manipulation.

Eligibility

• The contest is aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years old (1993-2005), citizens or nationals of one of the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.
• The stories must be original, cannot exceed a length of 2,500 words and can be written in any of the official languages of the 43 participant countries. 
• Only one story per author will be accepted.
• People who have been selected in any of the previous editions are not eligible.

How to participate
The document must be sent in Word format to: [email protected] The message must include the title of the work along with the author's personal data: name, telephone number, postal address, email address and date of birth

Prizes
The authors of the 10 best texts will be invited to Barcelona on 23 November 2023, in the framework of the Mediterranean Day, to participate for 3 days in the awards ceremony, creative workshops and cultural exchanges.

Az Anna Lindh Alapítvány és au European Institution of the Meditarrenean tizedik alkalommal hirdeti meg a nemzetközi „Szavak tengere” novellaíró pályázatot az Euro-mediterrán térség 43 országának fiataljai számára.

Az idei, tizedik évfordulós pályázat mottója a „Fiatalok, sztereotípiák és radikalizáció”, és lehetőséget nyújt a fiataloknak arra, hogy bemutassák arra vonatkozó tapasztalataikat, hogyan látják magukat és a társadalom milyen sztereotípiákat kapcsol hozzájuk.

A jelentkezők köre

A pályázat 18 és 30 év közötti, az Euro-mediterrán térség 43 országából származó polgároknak szól.

Díjak

A legjobb 15 novella szerzői részt vehetnek egy írói workshopon 2017. október 18-án, egy vezetett túrán Spanyolországban 2017. október 19-én, és meghívást kapnak a Barcelonában rendezendő díjátadó ceremóniára 2017. október 17-én. A 10. évforduló alkalmából a korábbi évek három olyan győztese is részt vesz a programokon, akik sikereket értek el az irodalom területén. A kiválasztott történetek eredeti nyelven és angol fordításban egy digitális formátumú könyvben jelennek meg 2017 decemberében.

A novellák legfeljebb 2500 szó hosszúságúak lehetnek, és a részt vevő országok bármely hivatalos nyelvén beküldhetők. Feltétel, hogy egyedi és még nem publikált művek legyenek.

A történeteket egyénileg és csoportosan is benyújthatják.

A Fundação Anna Lindh o Instituto Europeu do Mediterraneo promovem pelo 6.º ano o concurso internacional de contos  ”A Sea of Words”- Um mar de palavras dirigido a todos os jovens dos  43 países do espaço Europa - Mediterraneo.

Este ano, inserido no âmbito do Ano Europeu do Cidadão o concurso convida os jovens a criar contos sobre solidariedade entre cidadãos, com o objetivo de mostrar as diferentes sensibilidades e realidades da região Euro-Mediterrânica, do ponto de vista dos jovens que vivem aí,

Elegibilidade
O concurso destina-se a jovens com idades entre os 18 e os  30, que sejam cidadãos de um dos 43 países do espaço euro-mediterrânico.

Prémios

Os autores dos 15 melhores contos serão premiados com a publicação dos seus contos e serão, também, convidados para a cerimónia de entrega dos prémios em Barcelona, Espanha, a 16 de setembro de 2013.

Nos dias seguintes à apresentação dos prémios os jovens vencedores serão convidados a participar de um programa de visitas e atividades culturais na cidade de Barcelona e outra cidade espanhola a designar.

Sub motto-ul "Inteligența artificială și tinerii: Angajament etic și gândire critică", tinerii autori sunt invitați să scrie o poveste despre impactul inteligenței artificiale în societățile lor, punând în special accentul pe dilemele în materie de valori și criterii etice pe care aceasta le ridică și pe modul de promovare a talentului și a creativității în fața exploatării și a manipulării.

Eligibilitate

• Concursul se adresează tinerilor cu vârsta cuprinsă între 18 și 30 de ani (1993-2005), cetățeni sau reședinți ai uneia dintre cele 43 de țări din spațiul euro-mediteranean.
• Poveștile trebuie să fie originale, nu pot depăși 2.500 de cuvinte și pot fi scrise în oricare dintre limbile oficiale ale celor 43 de țări participante. 
• Va fi acceptată o singură povestire pentru fiecare autor.
• Persoanele care au fost selectate în oricare dintre edițiile anterioare nu sunt eligibile.

Cum poți să participi?

La Fundación Anna Lindh y el Instituto Europeo del Mediterráneo convocan la séptima edición del concurso internacional de cuentos breves y relatos «Un mar de palabras», dirigido a jóvenes de los 43 países del espacio Euromediterráneo.
Este año, el concurso está dirigido a la produccion de historias o relatos breves para la lucha contra el discurso racista y discriminatorio.

Requisitos:
- Este concurso está dirigido a jóvenes entre 18 y 30 años de edad y ciudadanos de uno de los 43 países del espacio Euromediterráneo.

Premios:
Los autores de las mejores 15 relatos breves serán premiados con la publicación de sus relatos y serán invitados a la ceremonia de entregas de premios en Barcelona, en España el 20 de octubre de 2014. Durante los días siguientes a la presentación de los premios, los ganadores serán invitados a participar en un programa de visitas culturales y actividades en Barcelona.

he Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Institute of the Mediterranean are calling another edition of the international short story contest ”A Sea of Words” aimed at young people from the 42 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean space.

This year, under the motto “Young People Faced with Climate Change in the Mediterranean and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, the contest gives Euro-Mediterranean youths the opportunity to tell about their own experiences and emotions in relation to these environmental changes that are transforming people’s lives and the societies in which they live. 

Eligibility

The contest is aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years old, citizens of one of the 42 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.

Prizes

• The authors of the 10 best stories will be invited to the awards presentation ceremony in Barcelona, Spain, and to a creative writing workshop during a few days long cultural exchange.
• The organisation will cover all travel expenses, visa, meals and accommodation.
• The stories selected will be published in a book in digital format with the texts in the original language and their corresponding English translation.

Requirements

PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival is a youth video festival that encourages and empowers global youth to explore the pressing social issues of migration, diversity, social inclusion, and the prevention of xenophobia and to share their creative vision with the world.

Every year, PLURAL+ gives young people around the world the opportunity to express their vision and their creativity through multimedia production.

PLURAL+ invites young people of up to 25 years old or less to submit original and creative short films focusing on the themes of migration, diversity, social inclusion, and the prevention of xenophobia.

Who can participate

Young people up to 25 years old or less at the time of the production of their videos.

PLURAL+ is organised into three age categories:

1. up to 12 years old
2. 13 to 17 years old and
3. 18 to 25 years old.

Multiple youth may work together to make one video, as long as all members of the group are maximum 25 years of age.

How to participate

- Video entries can be of any genre (animation, documentary, drama, music video, comedy etc) as long as they have the potential to make the audience think in constructive ways about the PLURAL+ themes: migration, diversity, social inclusion, and the prevention of xenophobia.

- Videos must be between one and five minutes in length, including title/s and opening/closing credits.

- Videos must have been produced after 1 January 2020 and, if not in English, must have English subtitles.

- If selected, entrants must be prepared to submit a digital copy of their video in either of the following formats: MOV (preferred), MP4, AVI, QT, MKV, or FLV. HD is preferred (1920×1080), but not required.

How to submit videos

To submit a video for consideration, entrants must first complete the online form.

Videos may be submitted:

1. Through a video-streaming website (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo). If submitting through this option, the entrant will be asked to include the URL of the video in the online form.

Prizes

The Fishbowl Challenge is a venture-building launchpad for young college entrepreneurs driving tech-powered social change around the world. It brings together college students to address the pressing problems of our time in these 3 critical areas: Agriculture; Healthcare and Sustainable Energy.

La Fishbowl Challenge è una piattaforma di lancio per giovani imprenditori universitari che promuovono il cambiamento sociale basato sulla tecnologia in tutto il mondo. Riunisce studenti universitari per affrontare i problemi più urgenti del nostro tempo in queste 5 aree critiche: Agricoltura; Sanità; Empowerment economico; Energia rinnovabile e sostenibilità; Tecnologia dell'istruzione.

Si tratta di un programma intensivo di 6 mesi che offre agli studenti la possibilità di reclutare o unirsi a un team eterogeneo a livello globale, passando dall'idea all'impresa con il supporto di mentori industriali di alto livello.

Fishbowl Challenge este o rampă de lansare a proiectelor pentru tineri studenți antreprenori care promovează schimbări sociale bazate pe tehnologie în întreaga lume. Aceasta reunește studenți și urmărește abordarea problemelor presante ale zilelor nostre în 3 domenii critice: agricultură, sănătate și energie durabilă.

Este un program intensiv de 6 luni care le oferă studenților oportunitatea de a recruta sau de a se alătura unei echipe globale diverse, în timp ce parcurg etapele de la idee la companie, cu sprijinul unor mentori din industrie.

Candidature

Afin de soumettre un projet, les candidats devront se créer un profil sur le site du James Dyson Award, puis fournir :

• Une description de leur projet : ce qui les a inspiré, le processus de développement qu’ils ont choisi, le fonctionnement et l’usage de leur innovation. La première partie doit être remplie en français et la seconde partie en anglais. La description ne doit pas dépasser 200 mots.
• Des images, croquis, sketchs de leur projet : au crayon, à l’ordinateur, sous toutes les formes qu’ils souhaitent. Il faudra également soumettre une image de leur projet avec un fond blanc. Chaque image doit peser minimum 1MB mais ne doit pas dépasser 3MB.
• Une vidéo de leur projet. Cet élément n’est pas obligatoire mais vivement recommandé. Elle doit reprendre leur démarche, montrer les différentes facettes du développement. Elle ne doit pas durer plus de 3mn. La vidéo doit être uploadée sur Youtube ou Vimeo.

Les participants peuvent envoyer autant de projets qu’ils souhaitent.

Aplicație

Solicitanții trebuie să se înregistreze și să încarce dovada că sunt studenți sau proaspăt absolvenți la unul dintre subiectele eligibile.

Odată înregistrați, aceștia trebuie să completeze formularul online, explicând:

• De unde au fost inspirați

Aplicanții pot încărca până la cinci imagini, de până la 3 MB fiecare, pentru a-și susține lucrarea, inclusiv o imagine principală. De asemenea, ei pot include și un videoclip, care adesea ajută la explicarea unei idei sau a unui proiect.

Videoclipurile ar trebui să aibă o durată mai mică de 3 minute și să arate atât procesul de dezvoltare a proiectului, cât și prototipul în acțiune. Videoclipurile trebuie să fie încărcate mai întâi pe YouTube sau Vimeo.

The Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize for Journalism is awarded annually to in-depth journalism pieces undertaken by EU-based professional journalists.

The Prize plays tribute to the Maltese anti-corruption investigative journalist and blogger who was assassinated in a car bomb attack in 2017.

The Prize, endorsed by the European Parliament, highlights the importance of professional journalism in safeguarding freedom and equality, and promotes the core values of the European Union.

Who can apply

Individual professional journalists or teams of professional journalists of any nationality.

How to apply

Entries must have been published/broadcast in print, audiovisual or online media outlets based in one of the 27 EU Member States between 1 September 2022 and 31 July 2023. They can be submitted via the online platform in all EU official languages. A summary in English (500 words maximum) must be provided in the submission form.

Entries may have one or several authors. Participants must be the authors and holders of the copyright and the moral rights to their work. Applications may be submitted by authors themselves or by professional media organisations and associations on their behalf.

Should a journalist or team of journalists wish to participate with more than one entry, they are allowed to do so. However, they must submit a separate application per entry.

Prize

The winner will receive €20, 000 and will be invited to participate in the Award Ceremony of the Prize. The European Parliament will cover the winner’s travel costs.

O Prémio presta homenagem ao jornalista de investigação e bloguista maltês anticorrupção, assassinado num atentado à bomba em 2017.

Jornalistas profissionais individuais ou equipas de jornalistas profissionais de qualquer nacionalidade.

Como candidatar-se

As candidaturas devem ter sido publicadas/transmitidas em meios de comunicação social impressos, audiovisuais ou online sediados num dos 27 Estados-Membros da UE entre 1 de Setembro de 2022 e 31 de Julho de 2023. Podem ser apresentadas através da plataforma online em todas as línguas oficiais da UE. O formulário de candidatura deve incluir um resumo em inglês (máximo de 500 palavras).

Os trabalhos podem ter um ou vários autores. Os participantes devem ser os autores e os detentores dos direitos de autor e dos direitos morais do seu trabalho. Cum se depune candidatura

Înscrierile trebuie să fi fost publicate/ promovate în presa scrisă, audiovizuală sau online, cu sediul într-unul dintre cele 27 de state membre ale UE, între 1 septembrie 2022 și 31 iulie 2023. Acestea pot fi trimise prin intermediul platformei online în toate limbile oficiale ale UE. Un rezumat în limba engleză (maximum 500 de cuvinte) trebuie să fie furnizat în formularul de trimitere.

The WSA (World Summit Awards) Young Innovators is a special recognition for young social entrepreneurs under 26 years of age, using ICTs to take action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Together with the WSA winners of each year, they are honoured as outstanding digital innovation with social impact.

From 2020 on, EYA (European Youth Award) becomes part of WSA to foster social sustainable impact, offer support and wider opportunities for young digital entrepreneurs globally.

Der WSA (World Summit Awards) Young Innovators ist eine besondere Anerkennung für junge Sozialunternehmer unter 26 Jahren, die IKT nutzen, um Maßnahmen zur Erreichung der Ziele der Vereinten Nationen für nachhaltige Entwicklung (UN SDGs) zu ergreifen.
Zusammen mit den WSA-Preisträgern jedes Jahres werden sie als herausragende digitale Innovation mit sozialer Wirkung geehrt.
Ab 2020 wird der EYA (Europäischer Jugendpreis) Teil des WSA, um eine sozial nachhaltige Wirkung zu fördern, Unterstützung und breitere Möglichkeiten für junge digitale Unternehmer weltweit anzubieten.

Kriterien für die Teilnahmeberechtigung
- die Teilnahme am WSA Junge Innovatoren steht allen Unternehmern, Unternehmen, Studentengruppen oder Projektteams aus UN-Mitgliedsstaaten offen
- Mindestens eines der Gründungsmitglieder und die Mehrheit des Teams müssen unter 26 Jahre alt sein (geboren am oder nach dem 1. Januar 1995)

Wie man sich bewirbt
- über das Online-Bewerbungsformular
- Einreichungen für die WSA Young Innovators können alle mobilen und webbasierten Projekte enthalten, wie z.B.: Apps, Webseiten, Anwendungen für Wearables, Kiosk-Installationen, SMS-basierte Produkte, Spiele und interaktive Produktionen (es gibt keine Beschränkung bezüglich der Plattformen oder Kanäle, mit denen die Projekte arbeiten)
- alle Einreichungen müssen entwickelte Produkte sein (es können keine Entwürfe, Ideen oder unvollendete Projekte angenommen werden)
- alle im Antragsformular eingegebenen Informationen müssen auf Englisch sein.

A világszintű World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) elnyeréséért indított pályázat keretében fiatalok tervezhetnek online vagy mobilos felületeket a legsürgetőbb globális problémák megoldása érdekében.

A kezdeményezés olyan inspiráló internetes tartalom megtervezésére ad lehetőséget harminc évnél fiatalabb tervezők és e-tartalom készítők számára, amely elősegítheti az ENSZ Fenntartható Fejlődés Céljainak (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs) népszerűsítését és megvalósítását. A Wourld Summit Youth Award díjazza az e-tartalom és technológiai kreativitás területén megjelenő hasznos gyakorlatokat; bemutatja, miként tudnak a fiatalok kiemelkedő digitális tartalmat létrehozni; valamint az ENSZ tagállamaiból érkezők számára közös munkafelületként is szolgál.

A munkák a következő hat kategóriához kapcsolódóan készülhetnek:

1. A szegénység, éhezés és járványok elleni küzdelem

2. Mindenki számára elérhetővé tehető oktatás

3. Nők előrelépése

4. Zölddé válás, környezetváltozás

5. Digitális generáció

Jelentkezési feltételek

• A projekteket 2014. január 1-je után kell megvalósítani (a korábban megvalósított projektek vagy termékek esetében a pályázóknak dokumentálnia kell, az elkészültük utáni időszakban milyen jelentősebb változások és/vagy fejlesztések és/vagy kiegészítések történtek).

• A projekben 30 évnél fiatalabb (1986. január 1-je után született), ENSZ illetve UNESCO tagországban élő személyek vehetnek részt.

• A leadás időpontjakor a projekteknek vagy termékeknek teljes mértékben működnie kell.

• A munkáknak az interneten is elérhetőnek kell lennie.

• A projektekben nem fordulhat elő sértő vagy plágiumgyanús tartalom, és arra felhatalmazott személy vehet részt azok kivitelezésében.

• Egy pályázó abban az esetben adhat be több pályamunkát, ha mindegyik projektet/terméket külön regisztrál.

Díjak:

Minden kategóriában hirdetnek győztest, és emellett kategóriánként legfeljebb három főt díjaznak még.

A győztesek a World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) győzelmi ünnepségén bemutathatják a megtervezett internetes felületeket.

A jelentkezés menete

• A projekteket egy Youthaward Követ vagy egy korábbi győztes bírálja el. Amennyiben a projektet megfelelőnek ítélik, automatikusan bekerül a második fordulóba.

• A jelentkezők munkáikat a Youthaward adatbázisába tölthetik fel. A projekteket az első körben elbírálják, majd a kategóriánként legjobbnak ítélt projektek versenyeznek tovább.

Os Prémios Juventude da Cimeira Mundial (WSYA) convidam uma vez mais jovens designers, criadores de conteúdos eletrónicos, escritores e bloggers de todo o mundo para participarem com os seus projetos numa competição internacional de multimédia:  usando a internet e telemóveis para colocar os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento do Milénio (ODM) em Ação! Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Os Prémios Juventude da Cimeira Mundial selecionam e promovem as melhores práticas em e-content e criatividade tecnológica, demonstram o potencial dos jovem para criar excelentes conteúdos digitais e servem como uma plataforma para as pessoas de todos os estados membros da ONU trabalharem juntos nos esforços para reduzir a pobreza e a fome, e para combater a falta de cuidados de saúde, a desigualdade de gênero, a falta de educação, a falta de acesso a água potável e a degradação ambiental.

Critérios de elegibilidade:
 - Os projetos tem de estar concluidos à data de 01 de janeiro de 2012 (um produto, projeto ou aplicação que tenha sido submetido anteriormente deverá documentar quais as alterações ou melhorias introduzidas e/ou adições feitas no periodo depois);
 - Os projetos devem ter sido elaborados e executados por jovens com menos de 30 anos (data de nascimento 01.01.1984);
 - Os produtos devem ser totalmente funcionais e operacionais aquando da submissão da candidatura;
 - Os produtos devem ser acessiveis através da Internet;
-  As submissões devem ser isentas de comentários ofensivos e/ou conteúdos plagiados e devem ser executados por uma pessoa autorizada; 
 - Em caso de candidaturas múltiplas de um mesmo candidato, cada produto, projeto ou aplicação requer um registo e um recibo separados.

Prémio:
Em cada categoria haverá três vencedores e dois vice-campeões.
Será dado aos vencedores a oportunidade de mostrarem sua plataforma na cerimónia Prémio Cimeira Mundial da Juventude (WSYA) lugar e data a definir.

WSA (World Summit Awards) – Tineri inovatori reprezintă o recunoaștere specială pentru tineri antreprenori sociali cu vârsta sub 26 de ani, care utilizând tehnologia informației și a comunicațiilor (TIC) acționează pentru atingerea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabilă ale Organizației Națiunilor Unite (ODD ale ONU).

Împreună cu câștigătorii WSA din fiecare an, aceștia sunt recunoscuți pentru inovații digitale remarcabile cu impact social.

Din 2020, EYA (European Youth Award – Premiul European pentru Tineret) devine parte a WSA pentru a încuraja impactul social durabil, pentru a oferi sprijin și mai multe oportunități pentru tineri antreprenori în domeniul digital la nivel global.

Criterii de eligibilitate

• participarea la WSA – Tineri inovatori este deschisă pentru antreprenori, companii, grupuri de studenți sau echipe de proiect din statele membre ONU și UNESCO
• cel puțin unul dintre membrii fondatori și majoritatea membrilor echipei trebuie să aibă vârsta sub 26 de ani (născut la sau după 1 ianuarie 1997)

Cum poți candida

• prin completarea și trimiterea formularului de candidatură online      
• materialele trimise pentru WSA - Tineri inovatori pot fi proiecte pentru dispozitive mobile și web, cum ar fi: aplicații, pagini web, aplicații pentru dispozitive portabile, instalații de tip chioșc de informare, produse bazate pe SMS, jocuri și producții interactive (nu există nicio limitare privind platformele sau canalele cu care lucrează proiectele)
• toate proiectele trimise trebuie să fie produse lansate (nu pot fi acceptate proiecte în stadiu de pregătire, idei sau proiecte neterminate)
• toate informațiile incluse în formularul de candidatură trebuie să fie în limba engleză

El Premio de la Cumbre Mundial de Juventud es un concurso global para iniciativas online o a través de móviles que tiene como fin incrementar la concienciación y ayudar a resolver los asuntos globales más tensos. Por ello, se invita a jóvenes diseñadores y creadores de contenidos digitales (por debajo de los 30) de todo el mundo a desarrollar un contenido creativo de Internet que promueva los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio.

El Premio de la Cumbre selecciona y promueve las mejores prácticas de creatividad tecnológica y contenido digital, demuestra el potencial de los jóvenes para crear contenidos digitales y sirve de plataforma para que las personas de todos los estados miembros de las Naciones Unidas trabajen juntos.

Las propuestas deben enmarcarse dentro de una de las seis categorías:
1.Lucha contra la pobreza, el hambre y la enfermedad.
2.Educación para todos.
3.Poder 2 mujer.
4.Crea tu cultura
5.Respeto del medio ambiente.
6.Persigue la verdad

Criterios de elegibilidad:
-Los proyectos deben ser completados después del 1 de enero de 2012 (para los proyectos o productos terminados con anterioridad, los solicitantes tendrán que documentar cualquier alteración, mejora o cambio que hayan hecho en un periodo posterior).
-Los proyectos deben iniciarse y ejecutarse por un joven por debajo de 30 años (nacido después del 1 de enero de 1984).
-Los productos deberán ser funcionales y estar plenamente operativos cuando se presenten.
-Las solicitudes deberán estar libres de ofensas o contenido plagiado y se deberán realizar por una persona autorizada.
-En el caso de múltiples participaciones del mismo participante, cada producto, proyecto o aplicación requiere un registro separado.

Premio:
En cada una de las categorías habrá tres ganadores y hasta tres finalistas. Los ganadores tendrán la oportunidad de mostrar su plataforma en el evento de entrega del Premio de la Cumbre Mundial de Juventud,

Efforts to undermine European democracy have been underway for some time - and now, democracy needs us. In its current fragile state, fighting for its future is more important than ever. You can do just that, by joining the European Capital of Democracy’s Citizens' Jury, playing a hands-on role in strengthening Europe’s democratic future!

Each year, a different city will be designated as the European Capital of Democracy annually by a diverse jury of 10,000 European citizens.

Twenty-two cities all around Europe have already applied to compete for the title of European Capital of Democracy, with the winner set to host international events and become a center for democratic education and innovation, attracting an international audience. The city will be designated in January 2024.

By joining a community of democracy defenders, you can make your voice heard, promote your cause, and select the very first European Capital of Democracy.

As a Citizens’ Juror, you can make

• a monumental impact by (actively) participating for up to 3 hours per month, as you get access to selecting the European Capital of Democracy once a year,
• give your opinions through monthly surveys, and
• acquire new skills in (free) online-trainings.

Der Wettbewerb wird vom 1. Juli 2021 bis zum 28. Februar 2022 laufen. Es wird jeden Monat ein neues Thema geben.

Das Oktober-Thema lautet "DiscoverEU ist zurück", um den Start der 5. Runde am 12. Oktober 2021 zu feiern. Dies ist der Zeitpunkt, an dem ihr eure #BestOfDiscoverEU-Erinnerungen zeigen könnt.

Um teilzunehmen:

• Poste das Foto oder den Videoclip (max. 15 Sekunden) öffentlich auf Instagram. 
• Verwende die Hashtags #DiscoverEU und #Competition.
• Markiere Instagram-Konto „European Youth“ @ european_youth_eu auf dem Foto oder dem Post in sozialen Medien
• Fülle den Fragebogen aus (dafür benötigst du den Bewerbercode, den du im Zuge deiner Bewerbung für DiscoverEU erhalten hast)

A verseny nyitott azok a #DiscoverEU jelentkezők számára, akik 2018-ban és 2019-ben jelentkeztek a DiscoverEU valamely fordulójára. Nyertesek és jegyet nem nyertek egyaránt csatlakozhatnak. A fotó-és videóverseny központi témája "Lépj ki a komfort zónádból, mégha otthon is vagy!". Az alkotásokat beküldők között különböző díjakat sorsolnak ki a szervezők. 

A júliusi téma: "Alkosd újra egy fotóban vagy egy videóban a kedvenc példádat az európai kultúráról."

A résztvevőknek a következőket kell tenniük ahhoz, hogy részt vehessenek a versenyben: 

• fel kell tölteniük fotójukat vagy rövid videójukat (maximum 15 másodperc) a nyilvános Instagram profiljukra;
• posztjaikban fel kell tüntetnük a #DiscoverEU és a #Competition hashtageket;
• be kell tagelniük a European Youth Instagram profilt (@european_youth_eu) a fotójukon vagy a közösségi média posztban; 
• ki kell tölteniük ezt a kérdőívet (ehhez szükségük lesz a jelentkezési kódjukra, amelyet azután kaptak meg e-mailben, hogy jelentkeztek a DiscoverEU-ra);
• végül érdemes megkérniük a barátaikat, hogy lájkolják a fotójukat/videójukat.
