La Fundación Heinrich Böll otorga cada año becas a cerca de 1.000 estudiantes universitarios, licenciados y doctorandos de todas las temáticas y nacionalidades, que estén llevando a cabo sus estudios en universidades de Ciencias Aplicadas (‘Fachhochschulen’),  o de artes  (‘Kunsthochschulen”).

Youth4Regions is the European Commission programme helping journalism students and young journalists to discover what the EU is doing in their region.

It provides a chance to receive trainings on journalism and EU Cohesion Policy, a mentorship from established journalists from your country and working alongside renowned journalists during the EU Regions’ Week.

Furthermore, selected participants will also have the chance to visit EU affairs media headquarters and EU institutions and participate as journalists in European Commission press trips to Member States (all expenses covered by the European Commission).

Eligible applicants should:

• be a citizen of an EU Member State or an EU neighbouring country
• be from 18 to 30 years old
• demonstrate a real interest in journalism through studies and/or work experience or be a recent journalism graduate (up to 2 years since graduation) with up to 2 years of journalism experience
• have not participated in previous editions of the Youth4Regions Programme

How it works

Selected applicants will be invited to attend the Youth4Regions Programme during the EU Regions’ Week in Brussels, Belgium ( 11-17 October 2025). The organisers cover travel and accommodation costs.

• send a short article (2500 to 6250 words), a photo report (3 pictures) or a video report (2-3 minutes) covering a project co-financed by the European Union (except for Erasmus+ study abroad projects).

Youth4Regions est le programme de la Commission européenne qui aide les étudiants en journalisme et les jeunes journalistes à découvrir ce que fait l'UE dans leur région.

Il offre la possibilité de recevoir des formations sur le journalisme et la politique de cohésion de l'UE, d'être encadré par des journalistes confirmés de votre pays et de travailler aux côtés de journalistes renommés pendant la Semaine des régions de l'UE.

De plus, les participants sélectionnés auront aussi la possibilité de visiter les sièges des médias spécialisés dans les affaires européennes et les institutions de l'UE, et de participer en tant que journalistes aux voyages de presse de la Commission européenne dans les États membres (tous les frais sont couverts par la Commission européenne).

Les candidats éligibles doivent :

Como funciona

Os candidatos selecionados serão convidados a participar no programa Youth4Regions durante a Semana das Regiões da UE em Bruxelas, Bélgica (5-11 de outubro de 2024). Os organizadores assumem as despesas de deslocação e alojamento. 

Como candidatar-se

• preencher o formulário online
• enviar um artigo curto (2500 a 6250 palavras), uma reportagem fotográfica (3 imagens) ou uma reportagem vídeo (2-3 minutos) sobre um projeto cofinanciado pela União Europeia (exceto projetos de estudo no estrangeiro Erasmus+).
• As contribuições são aceites em todas as 24 línguas oficiais da UE. Os vídeos devem ser acompanhados de um resumo escrito em inglês.

Youth4Regions este un program al Comisiei Europene care ajută studenții la jurnalism și tinerii jurnaliști să descopere ce face UE în regiunea lor.

Acesta oferă șansa de a beneficia de cursuri de formare în domeniul jurnalismului și al politicii de coeziune a UE, de un mentorat din partea unor jurnaliști consacrați din țara ta și de a lucra împreună cu jurnaliști renumiți în timpul Săptămânii regiunilor UE.

În plus, participanții selectați vor avea, de asemenea, șansa de a vizita sediile mass-media și instituțiile UE și de a lua parte, în calitate de jurnaliști, la deplasările de presă ale Comisiei Europene în statele membre (toate cheltuielile fiind acoperite de Comisia Europeană).

Candidații eligibili trebuie să:

• să fie cetățeni ai unui stat membru al UE sau ai unei țări vecine UE
• să aibă între 18 și 30 de ani
• să demonstreze un interes real pentru jurnalism prin studii și/sau experiență profesională sau să fie absolvenți de curând de jurnalism (până la 2 ani de la absolvire) cu până la 2 ani de experiență în jurnalism
• să nu fi participat la edițiile anterioare ale programului Youth4Regions

Cum funcționează?

Candidații selectați vor fi invitați să participe la Programul Youth4Regions în timpul Săptămânii Regiunilor UE de la Bruxelles, Belgia ( 11-17 octombrie 2025). Costurile de călătorie și cazare sunt acoperite de organizatori. 

Cum se aplică?

1. Completează formularul online
2. Trimite un articol scurt (între 2500 și 6250 de cuvinte), un reportaj foto (3 imagini) sau un reportaj video (2-3 minute) care să acopere un proiect cofinanțat de Uniunea Europeană (cu excepția proiectelor de studiu în străinătate Erasmus+).
3. Contribuțiile sunt acceptate în toate cele 24 de limbi oficiale ale UE. Contribuțiile video trebuie să aibă un rezumat scris în limba engleză.

"Youth4Regions" es un programa de la Comisión Europea que ayuda a los estudiantes de periodismo y a los jóvenes periodistas a descubrir qué proyectos está desarrollando la Unión Europea en su región.

• Envía un artículo breve (400-1000 palabras) o un reportaje breve en vídeo (2-3 minutos) que describa un proyecto cofinanciado por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (incluido Interreg) o el Fondo de Cohesión.

The European Commission is encouraging European enterprises to penetrate the Japanese market. To this end it has put in place various promotional activities to further European exports to Japan and to maximise business opportunities there.

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Co-operation organises:

Training programmes for EU managers (2 weeks):

- Get Ready for Japan HRTP (19-23 May 2025 online and 9-13 June 2025 in person) - provides an in-depth understanding of how to do business in Japan. It is targeted at EU young entrepreneurs who have a major role in defining and implementing their small medium enterprise’s policies in relation to Japan, or who are to be transferred to Japan, or come from companies intending to supply Japanese companies or wish to learn about management practices and technological developments in Japan. 

Deadline: 13 March 2025.

The candidate must:

- be a citizen of an EU Member State or of a COSME partnering country;

- be supported by their employer and be able to participate in the entire programme;

- have a reasonable command of English;

- be a manager or an executive from an industrial company;

- have proven experience in industry.

All participants cover their travel costs to and from Japan as well as living expenses in Japan, including accommodation.

The EU-Japan Centre covers all training-related costs such as speakers' fees, room rental, transfers for company visits, etc for participants from SMEs.

Participants need to pay a deposit of €1000 to guarantee attendance at all meetings, seminars and company visits. This deposit is refunded within 8 weeks after the mission and upon participant's completion of the post-event questionnaire. Participants will also benefit from a €1200 grant that will be paid within 2 weeks after the mission. 

World Class Manufacturing WMC 17-21 February 2025

The WMC for EU managers with knowledge of WMC and an engineering background - to assist EU companies to acquire a better understanding of how Japanese companies continually take costs out of their manufacturing, constantly innovating using "KAIZEN" manufacturing methods (continuous improvement), "JIT" (Just in Time), "TQC" (Total Quality Control), TIE (Total Industrial Engineering), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and "TQM" (Total Quality Management) practices.

Deadline: 14 November 2024

• Target participants:  individuals working for SMEs (small and medium enterprises, start-ups) or large companies from the European Union or a country associated with the Single Market Programme, SME Pillar, who have not taken part in a previous physical edition of the WCM mission.
• be nationals of an EU Member State or of a COSME partnering country;
• must be supported by their employer through a signed letter and be able to participate in the entire programme;
• must have a good command of English;
• should be an employee/team leader involved in engineering methods or production/service strategy or production control or with experience in operations management;
• should have knowledge and practice of production methods of excellence.

Costs

The EU-Japan Centre covers all costs directly related to the WMC mission. Participants will have to cover their travel and accommodation costs. Programe de stagii pentru manageri din UE (2 săptămâni)

- Get Ready for Japan HRTP (17 -21 iunie 2024 online și 8 -12 iulie 2024 opțional în persoană) – scopul este explorarea în detaliu a practicilor în afaceri. Costuri

Centrul UE-Japonia acoperă toate costurile legate direct de misiunea WMC. Participanții vor trebui să își acopere costurile de călătorie și de cazare. All participants cover their travel costs to and from Japan as well as living expenses in Japan, including accommodation. The EU-Japan Centre covers all training-related costs such as speakers' fees, room rental, transfers for company visits, etc. for participants from SMEs.

Participants from SMEs need to pay a deposit of €1200 to guarantee attendance at all meetings, seminars and company visits. This deposit is refunded within 8 weeks after the mission and upon participant's completion of the post-event questionnaire. 

Participants from non-SMEs pay a small tuition fee of €1200  covering all training-related costs.

World Class Manufacturing WMC (five days)

For EU managers and for EU senior executives - to assist EU companies to acquire a better understanding of how Japanese companies continually take costs out of their manufacturing, constantly innovating using "KAIZEN" manufacturing methods (continuous improvement), "JIT" (Just in Time), "TQC" (Total Quality Control), TIE (Total Industrial Engineering), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and "TQM" (Total Quality Management) practices.

Target participants are:

• managers from industrial companies;
• minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in industry
• good knowledge of English;
• be nationals of an EU Member State or of a COSME partnering country;
• must work for a company that is > 50% EU or COSME partnering country owned;
• must work for an organisation that is an EU or COSME partnering country juridical person;
• must be supported by their employer and be able to participate in the entire programme;
• must have a good command of English;
• should be an employee/team leader involved in engineering methods or production/service strategy or production control or with experience in operations management;
• should have knowledge and practice of production methods of excellence.

The EU-Japan Centre covers all costs directly related to the mission (i.e.lectures, seminars and transportation costs during group field trips). The participant's company is expected to cover the participant's travel costs to and from Japan as well as living expenses in Japan (including accommodation).

For SMEs participation is free. On top, SMEs benefit from a €600 but absences during the course may lead to deductions amounting to 120 EUR/day. SMEs must pay a 100% refundable deposit of €1,000 to guarantee the place on the course. The deposit will be refunded within 8 weeks after the course.

Non-SMEs must pay a non-refundable contribution of €1,000 towards the costs incurred by the EU-Japan Centre in relation to the company's participation.

Each year, DG Interpretation (SCIC) provides bursaries to students accepted for full-time postgraduate conference interpreting training at recognized universities.

Eligibility

• Be a national of an EU Member State or a candidate country;
• Be enrolled or intending to enroll in a master's/postgraduate degree in conference interpreting;
• Need/have paid the 2024/2025 enrolment fee for their course;
• Be registered in one of the active languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Maltese, Portuguese, Slovak or Slovene

or

• Be registered in one of the active language in your course with a retour into English, French or German: Estonian, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish or Swedish.
• Passive languages and/or retour languages must be in line with the preferential profiles as published here.

Bursary amount: EUR 3 000.

Kriterien:

• Sie sind Staatsangehörige/r eines EU-Mitgliedstaates oder eines der Beitrittsländer (Albanien, Republik Nordmazedonien, Montenegro, Serbien oder Türkei);
• Sie haben bereits einen Hochschulabschluss oder eine gleichwertige Qualifikation oder befinden sich im letzten Jahr eines Studiengangs, der zu einem Hochschulabschluss oder einer gleichwertigen Qualifikation führt,
• Sie haben sich für einen vollständigen Master-/Aufbaustudiengang im Konferenzdolmetschen beworben, der für das Jahr 2021/2022 von einer anerkannten Universität oder Hochschuleinrichtung angeboten wird, oder beabsichtigen, sich dafür zu bewerben. Wie man sich bewirbt

A tolmácsolási főigazgatóság tanulmányi ösztöndíjait minden szakterület hallgatói igénybe vehetik, akiket felvettek egy elismert egyetem vagy egyetemi szintű intézmény által kínált, konferenciatolmácsolással kapcsolatos teljes idejű posztgraduális képzésre. Sikeres elvégzése esetén ez a képzés olyan képesítést eredményez, amely tanúsítja, hogy képes hivatásos konferenciatolmácsként dolgozni mind konszekutív, mind szinkrontolmácsként.

Criteria:

• you are a national of an EU Member State or of one of the candidate countries (Albania, The Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia or Turkey);
• you already have a university degree or equivalent qualification, or are in the final year of a course leading to a university degree or equivalent qualification,

En cas de réussite, ces études permettent d'obtenir une qualification professionnelle attestant la capacité de travailler comme interprète de conférence en mode consécutif et simultané.

Critères

1. Connaissance parfaite de votre langue maternelle ainsi que la compréhension parfaite

Sont prioritaires les étudiants qui :

Program Evropske komisije »Simultano prevajanje in stroritve na konferencah« (JICS) vsako leto razpisuje štipendije
Štipendije JICS so na voljo študentom, ki so bili sprejeti v programe podiplomskega izobraževanje na področju prevajanja na konferencah, v okviru prepoznanih univerz ali na drugih enakovrednih institucijah. Če študent uspešno zaključi program, bo dobil certifikat, s katerim lahko dela kot profesionalni prevajalec, tako v konsekutivni kot v simultani obliki.

Kriteriji – potrebno je:
  biti državljan ene od 27 držav članic Evropske unije ali držav kandidatk (Hrvaške, Makedonije in Turčije);
  imeti univerzitetno diplomo ali potrdilo o končani izobrazbi na enakovredni stopnji, ali biti v zadnjem letniku izobraževalnega programa, s katerim bo kandidat pridobil univerzitetno diplomo ali izobrazbo na enakovredne stopnje
  obvladati naslednje jezikovne kombinacije:

1. Izvrstno znanje svojega maternega jezika in popolno razumevanje:
a) vsaj enega od jezikov držav članic EU, ki so bile članice pred 1. majem 2004 (danščine, nizozemščine, angleščine, finščine, francoščine, nemščine, grščine, italijanščine, portugalščine, švedščine) in

b) enega ali več naslednjih jezikov: bolgarščine, češčine, estonščine, madžarščine, latvijščine, litvanščine, malteščine, pojščine, romunščine, slovaščine, slovenščine ali jezika držav kandidatk (hrvaščine, makedonščine ali turščine)  

2. Izvrstno znanje dveh jezikov (poleg maternega jezika), od katerih je en jezik naštet pod točko 1.a, drugi pa pod točko 1.b;

3. Izvrstno znanje aktivnega jezika in popolno razumevanje vsaj dveh jezikov, omenjenih pod točko 1.a.

Višina dodeljenih štipendij znaša 2.200 evrov za tiste, ki študirajo v državi članici in 1.500 evrov za tiste, ki študirajo v kateri od držav kandidatk. Za tiste, ki se zaradi izobraževanje preselijo v drugo državo, je dodeljenih še dodatnih 500 evrov.

Pri dodeljevanju štipendij bodo imeli prednost kandidati, ki:

-  ponujajo jezikovno kombinacijo, ki najbolj ustreza trenutnim in prihodnjim potrebam generalnega direktorata, še posebej za jezike tistih držav, ki so se Evropski uniji pridružile od 1. maja 2004 dalje ali jezikov držav kandidatk ter jezikov, ki niso tako razširjeni v Evropski uniji. Ocene bodo temeljile na znanju vseh jezikovnih kombinacij, kot tudi drugih kvalifikacij in znanj.

Cada año, el Servicio Común de Interpretación y el Directorio General de Interpretación (DG de Interpretación conocida como SCIC) ofrecen una serie de becas.

Las becas de estudio de la Dirección General de Interpretación están disponibles para estudiantes de todas las disciplinas que han sido aceptados en un curso de formación a tiempo completo de postgrado sobre interpretación de conferencias ofrecido por una reconocida universidad o institución de nivel universitario. Si se completan dichos estudios con éxito, se obtendrá un título que acredite la capacidad de trabajar como intérprete en conferencias profesionales en ambas modalidades consecutiva y simultánea.

Criterios:
-Ser nacional de uno de los Estados Miembros de la UE o de los países candidatos (Macedonia, Islandia, Montenegro, Serbia 0 Turquía);
-Estar en posesión de un título universitario o equivalente o estar en el último año de un curso que conduce a un título universitario o título equivalente.
-Han de tener las siguientes combinaciones lingüísticas:
1. Excelente dominio de una lengua viva, y un conocimiento pasivo muy bueno de
a) al menos uno de los idiomas holandés, inglés, francés, alemán, italiano, portugués, español y
b) de uno o más de los siguientes idiomas: búlgaro, checo, danés, estonio, finlandés, griego, húngaro, irlandés, letón, lituano, maltés, polaco, rumano, eslovaco, esloveno, sueco o de la lengua de un país candidato (Islandia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia y Turquía);
2. Excelente dominio de dos lenguas (a nivel de lengua materna), de los cuales uno es un idioma mencionado arriba en 1.a y el otro de los idiomas mencionados en 1.b; o
3. Excelente dominio de su lengua materna y una perfecta comprensión de por lo menos dos de los idiomas mencionados en 1.a. y
4. Haber solicitado o tener intención de solicitar un curso completo de postgrado en interpretación de conferencias ofrecido para el año 2014/2015  por una universidad reconocida o institución de nivel universitario.

El importe de la beca que se concederá será 2.400 euros para los que estudian en un Estado Miembro, y 1.600 euros para los que estudian en un país candidato, no Estado Miembro.

En la concesión de becas de estudio, se dará preferencia a los solicitantes:
- Que ofrezcan la combinación de idiomas que más se adapte a las necesidades actuales y previsibles de la DG de Interpretación. La selección se basará en la combinación de lenguas del solicitante y en la evaluación del potencial candidato.

• you are a national of an EU Member State or of one of the candidate countries (Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey);
• you have applied or intend to apply for a full master's/postgraduate degree in conference interpreting ooffered for the year 2020/2021 by a recognised university or university-level institution. For courses that last more than one year, only final year students will be eligible, and
• you need to pay/have paid a tuition fee for the academic year 2020/2021 (= final year of your Master/Postgraduate course). Please note that you are not eligible to apply if your Master/postgraduate course is free of charge,
• you are registered with one of the following active languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Maltese, Portuguese, Slovene or Swedish or
• you are registered with in the course with a retour into English, French or German from one of the folowing active languages: Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak or Spanish
• and your passive languages and/or retour language in line with the preferential profiles as published herewith.

Bursary

The bursary will amount to the equivalent of the tuition fee for academic year 2020-2021, with a ceiling amount of EUR 2 400.

How to apply

Applicant need to complete the application form and upload all the following documents:
1. a copy of their passport or identity card (front and back);
2. a detailed CV, in French, German or English, listing all their qualifications (the use of the ‘Europass’ template is compulsory);
3. a short motivation letter (between 250 and 500 words), written in their mother tongue;
4. a scanned copy of the completed university information form;
5. the form related to their bank details, duly signed and dated (please read carefully the instructions given in the footnotes on the form);
6. the legal entity form, duly signed and dated, and

How it works

Summer Universities are on average 2 weeks long events that take place each summer in most of the cities where AEGEE is present. 30 young Europeans come together to taste the diversity of European integrity.

The summer university consists of different kinds of programmes: Summer Course; Summer Course Plus; Travelling Summer University; Short Summer Course.

There are application fees varying based on the Summer University.

How to apply 

1.   Go to the official website of the Summer University Project and log in with your MyAEGEE account. Then click on "Fill in Application Form" under "Applicants".

2.   Review your personal data from your MyAEGEE account. Here also you'll have to write your previous AEGEE experience (if any) and describe how would be your ideal Summer University.

3.   Write a different motivation letter for each of the SUs you chose in the previous step.

Die Sommeruniversität setzt sich aus verschiedenen Arten von Programmen zusammen: Sommerkurs; Sommerkurs Plus; Sommeruniversität auf Reisen; Kurzsommerkurs.
 

Wie man sich bewirbt

1.   Gehen Sie auf die offizielle Website des Sommeruniversitätsprojekts und melden Sie sich mit Ihrem MyAEGEE-Konto an. Dann klicken Sie auf "Fill in Application Form" unter "Applicants".
2.   Im ersten Schritt überprüfen Sie Ihre persönlichen Daten aus Ihrem MyAEGEE-Konto. Hier müssen Sie auch Ihre bisherigen AEGEE-Erfahrungen angeben (falls vorhanden) und beschreiben, wie Ihre ideale Sommeruniversität aussehen würde.
3.   Im zweiten Schritt müssen Sie für jeden der im vorherigen Schritt ausgewählten Universitäten ein anderes Motivationsschreiben verfassen.
4.   Im letzten Schritt sehen Sie eine Zusammenfassung Ihrer Bewerbung.

Die Bewerbungsgebühr beträgt maximal 14 € pro Tag (mit wenigen Ausnahmen). Darin enthalten sind Unterkunft, Frühstück und mindestens eine warme Mahlzeit pro Tag, Workshops, Aktivitäten und das Rahmenprogramm.

Asociaţia urmăreşte crearea unei societăţi deschise si tolerante.

Universitatea de vară cuprinde diferite tipuri de programe: cursuri de vară; cursuri de vară intensive; călătorii de studii; cursuri scurte de vară.

Procedura de înscriere online la Universitatea de vară:

1. Deschideţi site-ul oficial al proiectului Universitate de vară și conectați-vă la contul MyAEGEE. Apoi faceți clic pe "Fill in Application Form" la "Applicants".
2. Prima etapă: revizuiți datele personale din contul MyAEGEE. Aici trebuie să prezentați experiența voastră AEGEE (dacă aveți) și să descrieți cum ar arăta o universitate de vară ideală pentru voi.
3. Etapa a doua: trebuie să scrieți scrisori de motivație diferite pentru fiecare dintre universitățile de vară alese în prima etapă.
4. În ultima etapă puteți să vizualizați sumarul candidaturii.

AEGEE je okrajšava za L´ASSOCIATION DES ETATS G‰N‰RAUX DES ETUDIANTS DE L´ EUROPE oziroma Evropsko združenje študentov. AEGEE je največja evropska študentska organizacija (združenje evropskih študentov in mladih diplomantov iz različnih fakultet). Zavzema se za združeno Evropo, čezmejno sodelovanje, komunikacijo, povezovanje študentov, predvsem pa si prizadeva za odprto, bolj strpno družbo. Je prostovoljna, nevladna, politično neodvisna in neprofitna organizacija.

Prisotna je v 232 univerzitetnih mestih v več kot 43 državah po Evropi. Glavne aktivnosti organizacije AEGEE so povezane z mirom, univerzitetnim izobraževanjem, aktivnim državljanstvom in medkulturnim učenjem.

Poletne šole vsak leto organizira večina lokalnih AEGEE anten. Poletne šole so namenjene spodbujanju razumevanja medkulturnosti in omogočajo študentom potovanje k lokalnim AEGEE antenam v drugih državah, kjer jim študentje gostitelji predstavijo svoj jezik in svojo kulturo. Za gostitev študentov, poceni potovanje po Evropi in komunikacijo s študenti drugih držav načeloma poskrbijo lokalne AEGEE antene.

Poletne šole vključujejo različne točke programa: jezikovne tečaje, nadaljevalne jezikovne tečaje, poletne tečaje, nadaljevalne poletne tečaje, potovalne poletne šole ter poletne dogodke.
Aktivnosti vseh lokalni AEGEE anten koordinira evropski odbor.

The European University Institute provides advanced academic training to PhD students. The EUI carries out research in a European perspective (fundamental research, comparative research and Community research).

Doctoral programmes are offered in:

• the Department of History and Civilisation
• the Department of Economics
• the Department of Law
• the Department of Political and Social Sciences.

Conditions

Research students can study for periods from 1-3 years. 3 years for the Institute's doctorate; 1 year's study in comparative, European and international law (the Ll.M.); or in exceptional cases, 1-2 years' doctoral training at the Institute before defending a thesis in the home university of the student.

Eligibility

• Knowledge of 2 official languages of the European Union.
• Propose a specific thesis project that should be within the research areas covered by the Institute.

- European Union Member States,

- the Associate Member States of the EUI (i.e. Norway, Poland and Switzerland, Hungary) and

- Non-EU counties (Central and Eastern Europe/Russian Federation/CIS, South and East Mediterranean, South East Europe, and other non-EU)
