Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) has launched a call for 105 scholarships and 45 tutorship covering 50% of the tuition fee for Master Courses 2023/2024 in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication and Art held in Milan, Barcelona, Florence, Madrid, Rome, Turin, Como and Bilbao.

Eligibility

• The contest is open to all candidates in possession of a bachelor degree or, equivalent qualification, or having a job experience in the relevant field. 
• Graduands are eligible, as long as they obtain the academic diploma within 30 days before the discussion of the Master course’s Thesis Project.
• Students who are already enrolled in a 1st Level Master course are not allowed to be enrolled in a Master course or in other academic and Afam courses at the same time.
• Candidates must show proficiency in the language of the course at minimum level B2.
• IED, Accademia Galli and Kunstal employees and consultants are not allowed to participate in the Contest.

How to apply

Scholarships will be assigned, taking into consideration the designated course. Each participant can apply for only one course and one location.

Admissibilité

Le concours est ouvert à tous les étudiants internationaux âgés de plus de 18 ans au moment de la candidature, titulaires d'une licence ou d'une qualification équivalente, ou ayant une expérience professionnelle dans le domaine concerné.

Les jeunes diplômés sont éligibles, à condition qu'ils obtiennent le diplôme académique dans les 30 jours précédant la discussion du projet de thèse du cours de Master.

La bourse sera attribuée, en tenant compte du cours désigné, des résultats d'un test lié aux compétences du cours, d'un test d'aptitude et de l'entretien de sélection.

Chi può partecipare

Youth4Regions is the European Commission programme helping journalism students and young journalists to discover what the EU is doing in their region.

It provides a chance to receive trainings on journalism and EU Cohesion Policy, a mentorship from established journalists from your country and working side by side with renowned journalists during the EU Regions’ Week.

Furthermore, selected participants will also have the chance to visit EU affairs media headquarters and EU institutions and take part as journalists in European Commission press trips to Member States (all expenses covered by the European Commission).

Plus selected participants also qualify for the Megalizzi-Niedzielski prize for aspiring journalists.

• be a citizen of a EU Member State or an EU neighbouring country.
• be from 18 to 30 years old

Youth4Regions est le programme de la Commission européenne qui aide les étudiants en journalisme et les jeunes journalistes à découvrir ce que l'UE fait dans leur région.

Il offre la possibilité de participer à des formations sur le journalisme et la politique régionale de l'UE, de bénéficier d'un mentorat de la part de journalistes établis de votre pays et de travailler côte à côte avec des journalistes de renom pendant la Semaine européenne des régions et des villes.

A Youth4Regions az Európai Bizottság programja, amely az újságírás szakon tanuló egyetemi hallgatókat és a fiatal újságírókat támogatja abban, hogy felfedezzék mit is tesz az Európai Unió a régiójukban.

A kezdeményezés lehetőséget biztosít arra a pályázat nyerteseinek, hogy újságírással és az Unió kohéziós politikájával kapcsolatos képzésen vegyenek részt, valamint az országuk kiemelkedő és tapasztalt újságírói által nyújtott mentorálásban vegyenek részt, és velük együtt dolgozzanak az Európai Unió Régiós Hete során.

Továbbá a kiválasztott résztvevőknek lehetőségük nyílik meglátogatni az EU-ügyek médiaközpontját és más EU-s intézményeket, valamint újságíróként csatlakozhatnak az Európai Bizottság különböző tagállamokban történő sajtóeseményein (minden költséget az Európai Bizottság fedez).

Alkalmas jelentkező, aki

The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to approximately 1,000 undergraduates, graduates, and PhD students of all subjects and nationalities per year, who are pursuing their degree at universities, universities of applied sciences (‘Fachhochschulen’), or universities of the arts (‘Kunsthochschulen”).

Scholarship recipients are expected to have excellent academic records, to be socially and politically engaged, and to have an active interest in the basic values of the foundation: ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self determination and justice.

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution (HEI) may carry out within the Erasmus+ Programme.

The award of an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education is a pre-requisite for all higher education institutions (HEIs) located in one of the countries listed below and want to apply and participate in learning mobility of individuals, cooperation for innovation and good practices among organisations and institutions and/or support to policy development projects under the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 Programme.

For HEIs located in third countries not associated to the Programme, the ECHE is not required, and the quality framework will be established through inter-institutional agreements between HEIs.

The Charter is awarded for the full duration of the Programme.

Eligible applicants

Recognised HEIs established in one of the following countries are eligible to apply for an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education:

- the Member States of the European Union,

Les candidats éligibles

• doivent avoir postulé (ou postuleront) à une université ou une école supérieure en Europe 
• doivent avoir postulé (ou postuleront) pour un diplôme de niveau master commençant à l'automne 2022 
• le programme de diplôme doit se dérouler en Europe ou en ligne via l'enseignement à distance d'un institut européen 
• doivent être titulaire d'un diplôme de premier cycle (bachelor) valide 
• doivent être titulaire d'un visa d'études approprié ou être éligible pour en faire la demande 
• doivent étudier à l'étranger dans un pays dont vous n'êtes pas citoyen ou dans lequel vous ne résidez pas actuellement (sauf si vous étudiez actuellement à l'étranger)

Comment postuler

• Remplissez un court formulaire
• Envoyez un court essai (400-500 mots) sur la question "Pourquoi avez-vous choisi votre pays d'études à l'étranger, et comment cela vous aidera-t-il à devenir un leader à l'esprit ouvert sur le monde ?

Les finalistes sélectionnés seront invités à fournir des documents supplémentaires pour prouver leur éligibilité.

M100 Young European Journalist Workshop is part of the annual international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium. It offers young journalists the opportunity to participate in workshops focusing on the theme "Journalistic impartiality in times of war – Dealing with Fake News and Disinformation" between 5^th-15^th September 2022.
Part of the workshop will also focus on "mental health in journalism".

Who can apply
Young journalists, bloggers or scholars, between 20 and 30 years old from Europe, the countries of the Eastern Partnership Countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine).

How to apply
Applicants should submit a text in English (max 6.000 characters including spaces ) to one of the two following subjects:
● What are your experiences with fake news and disinformation in your daily work? How important is it in your editorial/journalistic work? Have you already had your own concrete experiences with fake news? If yes, which ones? What are the main causes of fake news and disinformation in your opinion and how could they be combated?

● Mental health has become more important in the last two, three years. How important is the topic for you personally? In your professional environment? What experiences have you had with it as a journalist? Should more attention be paid to the topic? If yes, why, if no, why not?

Applicants should also include their CV, as well as a short motivational statement, stating their reasons for applying for a particular workshop and send it in one PDF (not larger than 2 MB).

Der "M100 Young European Journalist Workshop" ist Teil der jährlichen internationalen Medienkonferenz M100 Sanssouci Colloquium. Er bietet jungen Journalisten die Möglichkeit, zwischen dem 10. September und dem 2. Oktober 2021 an Workshops zum Thema "Reporting in Crises and the Crisis in Reporting" teilzunehmen.

Die Teilnehmer sollten sich für ihre Rolle im demokratischen Prozess begeistern und ein aktives Interesse an der Zukunft der Medien, des Journalismus und der Demokratie haben.
Aufgrund der COVID-Situation wird der Workshop als dezentrale Online-Veranstaltung über einen Zeitraum von sechs Wochen durchgeführt.

A résztvevők felől elvárás, hogy legyenek elhivatottak az általuk betöltött szerep iránt a demokratikus folyamatokban és aktívan érdeklődjenek a média jövője, az újságírás és a demokrácia iránt. 
A koronavírus járványhelyzet miatt a workshopokat decentralizáltan, online események formájában rendezik meg összesen hat héten keresztül.

Kik jelentkezhetnek?

Fiatal újságírók 21 és 30 év között Európa bármelyik pontjáról, valamint a keleti partnerországokból (Örményország, Azerbajdzsán, Fehéroroszország, Grúzia, Moldova és Ukrajna), valamint Oroszországból.

Quali esperienze avete avuto come giornalisti? Dovrebbe essere prestata maggiore attenzione a questo tema? Se sì, perché, se no, perché?

I candidati devono inoltre allegare il proprio CV e una breve lettera motivazionale che illustri le ragioni per cui si candidano a un determinato workshop e inviarla in un unico PDF (di dimensioni non superiori a 2 MB).

Atelierul “Tineri jurnalişti europeni M100” face parte din conferința internațională anuală de presă “M100 Sanssouci Colloquium”. Conferința oferă tinerilor jurnaliști posibilitatea de a participa la ateliere pe tema "Imparțialitatea jurnalistică în vremuri de război - Confruntarea cu știrile false și dezinformarea" în perioada 5 - 15 septembrie 2022. 

O parte a atelierului se va axa, de asemenea, pe "Sănătatea mintală în jurnalism".

Cine poate candida
Tineri jurnaliști, bloggeri sau cercetători, cu vârste cuprinse între 20 și 30 de ani din Europa, țările din Parteneriatul Estic (Armenia, Azerbaidjan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova și Ucraina).

Cum poți să candidezi

Candidații trebuie să trimită un text în limba engleză (maxim 6.000 de caractere, spații incluse ) la unul dintre următoarele două subiecte:

• Care sunt experiențele tale cu știrile false și dezinformarea în activitatea ta zilnică? Cât de importante sunt acestea în activitatea dumneavoastră editorială/ jurnalistică? Ai avut deja experiențe concrete cu știrile false? Dacă da, care dintre ele? Care sunt principalele cauze ale știrilor false și dezinformării în opinia ta și cum ar putea fi combătute?
• Sănătatea mintală a devenit mai importantă în ultimii doi, trei ani. Cât de important este subiectul pentru tine, personal? Dar în mediul tău profesional? Ce experiențe ai avut cu acest subiect, în calitate de jurnalist? Ar trebui să se acorde mai multă atenție acestui subiect? Dacă da, de ce, dacă nu, de ce nu?

Solicitanții trebuie să includă, de asemenea, CV-ul, precum și o scurtă declarație motivațională, în care să precizeze motivele pentru care aplică pentru un anumit atelier și să o trimită într-un singur fișier PDF (nu mai mare de 2 MB).

Vor fi luate în considerare doar candidaturile în limba engleză.

Periodista Europeo Joven M100, la ciudad de Potsdam y Postdam Media International ofrecen a los jóvenes periodistas la oportunidad de tener acceso directo a las principales personalidades de los medios de toda Europa, incluyendo países no pertenecientes a la Unión Europea.

El taller tendrá lugar entre el 8 y el 13 de septiembre de 2014 en Potsdam, Alemania, y se dirige a una joven generación de periodistas y editores con edades entre los 18 y 26 años, de toda Europa, incluyendo también a aquellos de países no pertenecientes a la Unión Europea.

Además del cultivo de conocimientos prácticos y teóricos relacionados con el periodismo y la labor periodística, el taller también busca generar vínculos a largo plazo y el contacto entre los participantes.

La elegibilidad y cómo solicitarlo:
Los periodistas jóvenes de entre 18 y 26 años de edad procedentes de toda Europa pueden solicitarlo con un breve texto en inglés (máximo 1000 caracteres), sobre el tema: datos ¿Impulsan el periodismo?

El texto debería incluir referencias concretas a la situación de los medios en los países de origen de los participantes.

Incluye un breve curriculum y una declaración de motivación junto con la solicitud con las razones que justifiquen la solicitud de este taller en particular, que se llevará a cabo en inglés.

The 16^th edition of the International Tool Fair will take place from 21 to 25 of November in Marseille, France. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and learn from each other about innovative methods and best practices from the field of youth work. 

The International XVI Tool Fair Tool UP 4 sustainability will support youth workers in:

• sharing about, learning and reflecting on how to apply competences and education of youth workers on different levels and in different contexts to one’s own reality.
• sharing knowledge, being challenged, getting inspired and critically reflecting on youth policy, research and studies of youth work and society.
• exploring, learning from and supporting further development of practice and methods of working with young people.
• engaging, connecting and experiencing youth work in context, while linking practice to local reality.

• Trainers, facilitators, coaches;

• People working directly with youth;

Die internationale XV Tool Fair BACK TO THE FUTURE wird sich mit Themen befassen, die mit den verschiedenen Risikofaktoren zusammenhängen, mit denen die Jugendarbeit konfrontiert ist und die in der nächsten Zukunft angegangen werden müssen.

•     Wie kann Jugendarbeit eine Unterstützung für junge Menschen sein?
•     Welches sind die notwendigen pädagogischen Instrumente, die in andere soziale und kulturelle Kontexte übertragen werden können?
•     Ist eine Bildungsrevolution erforderlich, um CHANGE in CHANCE zu verwandeln?

Dies sind einige der Fragen, mit denen sich die 15. Internationale Tool Fair befassen wird, indem sie pädagogische Mittel als Gelegenheit zum Austausch und zur beruflichen Weiterentwicklung in den Mittelpunkt stellt.
An dieser Veranstaltung werden Jugendbetreuer und Ausbilder teilnehmen, die Hilfsmittel zur Unterstützung des psychophysischen Wohlbefindens von Jugendlichen entwickelt haben, aber auch digitale und persönliche Hilfsmittel, die während der Sperrzeit konzipiert und in der Übergangszeit weiterentwickelt wurden.

Dieses Projekt wird von den teilnehmenden nationalen Stellen des Programms Erasmus+ finanziert.

A Nemzetközi Eszközbörze. November 12-16. között kerül megrendezésre a horvátországi Split városában, és arra irányul, hogy az ifjúsági munkások olyan eszközöket ismerhessenek meg, amelyekkel még hatékonyabban tudják bevonni a fiatalokat a társadalmi párbeszédbe egyes témákat illetően, különös tekintettel az emberi jogokra. A résztvevők lehetőséget kapnak arra, hogy beleszóljanak az oktatási és tapasztalatszerzési módszerek formálásába, valamint workshopokon vegyenek részt, melyeken kollégáikkal együtt ismerkednek meg a nemzetközi lehetőségekkel és eszközökkel.

A Nemzetközi Eszközbörzén kiemelten kezelnek olyan témákat, mint az Interkulturális párbeszéd, társadalmi befogadás és mentális egészség.

Cea de-a 16-a ediție International Tool Fair va avea loc între 21 și 25 noiembrie, în Marsilia, Franța. Participanții vor avea ocazia de a discuta și de a învăța unii de la alții despre metodele inovatoare și cele mai bune practici din domeniul activităților pentru tineret. 

Târgul internațional Tool UP 4 sustainability va sprijini lucrătorii de tineret în:

• diseminarea, învățarea și reflecția asupra modului în care se pot aplica competențele și educația lucrătorilor de tineret la diferite niveluri și în diferite contexte la propria realitate.
• împărtășirea cunoștințelor, provocarea, inspirația și reflecția critică asupra politicii de tineret, cercetării și studiilor privind munca de tineret și societatea.
• explorarea, învățarea și sprijinirea dezvoltării ulterioare a practicii și a metodelor de lucru cu tinerii.
• angajarea, conectarea și experimentarea activității de tineret în context, făcând în același timp legătura între practică și realitatea locală.

The Young African Leaders Programme (YALP) of the EUI School of Transnational Governance (STG) is offering a unique opportunity to aspiring leaders from Africa to further develop their policy work and professional skills amidst international experts and global leaders.

In the dynamic academic environment of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, selected participants will take part in seminars, trainings and skills development sessions, conferences, and study visits in Europe. Interaction with the other fellows, policymakers and the academic community at the EUI will make this a highly enriching experience.

The fellowship is a full-time and fully-funded programme.

Eligibility
The programme is open to mid-career professionals and executives under the age of 35 at the start of the programme on 1 September 2023. Women and people with disabilities will exceptionally be considered up to the age of 40 on 1 September 2023.

The programme targets mid-career, high potential emerging leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and professionals from Africa, working in national and local authorities, regional, continental, international organisations and development partners, civil society organisations, academia, media and the private sector, in Africa.

African leaders must live in the area of Florence for the duration of their stay. The language of the programme is English.

Special attention will be paid to ensuring access to the programme for young people with disabilities and dedicated measures will be foreseen during the fellowship as needed.

Duration
The programme has a duration of 3 months: September to November 2023.
During this period, the fellows are expected to commit to the programme full-time.

Three-month leadership programme are fully-funded with a grant of € 2,500 per month.

Studying abroad is a central part of Erasmus+ and has been shown to have a positive effect on later job prospects. It is also an opportunity to improve language skills, gain self-confidence and independence and immerse yourself in a new culture. Erasmus+ supports student and doctoral candidate exchanges within Erasmus+ Programme countries and to and from Partner countries.

Opportunities to study abroad are available to students at short-cycle Bachelor and Master levels and Doctoral candidates. You can also combine your period spent studying abroad with a traineeship to gain work experience.

Access to Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support will help you learn the language used for your studies if you are moving between Programme countries.

Duration

Your long-term study period abroad can last a minimum of 2 months (or 1 academic term or trimester) and a maximum of 12 months.

Students can also do blended mobility, combining a virtual period with physical short or long-term mobility. The short-term physical presence abroad as part of blended mobility lasts a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days.

You can benefit from an exchange abroad with Erasmus+ multiple times, either as a student or as a trainee, but your total time abroad (study abroad periods included) may not exceed 12 months within one cycle of study.

"Cycle" refers to the level of study as defined by the European Qualifications Framework (EQF):

• First cycle (Bachelor or equivalent) EQF – 5/6
• Second cycle (Master or equivalent) EQF 7
• Third cycle (Doctoral or equivalent) EQF 8

For "one-cycle" courses such as medicine or architecture, you can go abroad with Erasmus+ for as long as 24 months.

Conditions

You must be registered in a higher education institution and enrolled in studies leading to a recognised degree or tertiary-level qualification.

For students in the first cycle, you need to be at least in the second year of your studies.

Your period of study abroad must be relevant for your degree-related learning and personal development needs, and be part of the study programme that you are following.

Financial support

You receive a grant to contribute to your travel and subsistence costs. The amount of the grant varies according to differences in living costs between your country and the destination country, the number of students applying for a grant, the distance between countries and the availability of other grants.

Erasmus+ students are exempted from fees for tuition, registration, examinations, and charges for access to laboratories or libraries at the receiving institution. Small fees for insurance or student union membership may still apply.

Este, de asemenea, o oportunitate de a îmbunătăți competențele lingvistice, de a câștiga încredere în sine și independență și de a te cufunda într-o nouă cultură. Sprijin financiar

Studenții cu afecțiuni fizice, psihice sau cu probleme de sănătate pot solicita o finanțare suplimentară după ce au fost selectați pentru a studia în străinătate.

Studenții Erasmus+ sunt scutiți de taxele de școlarizare, de înscriere, de examene și de taxele de acces la laboratoare sau biblioteci în instituția de destinație. Se pot aplica totuși taxe mici pentru asigurări sau pentru calitatea de membru al uniunii studențești.

The European Commission is encouraging European enterprises to penetrate the Japanese market. To this end it has put in place various promotional activities to further European exports to Japan and to maximise business opportunities there.

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Co-operation, which was established in Tokyo in 1987 and in Brussels in 1996, organises:

Training programmes for EU managers (2 weeks):
- Get Ready for Japan HRTP (16-27 May 2022) - provides an in-depth understanding of how to do business in Japan. It is targeted at EU managers who have a major role in defining and implementing their company’s policies in relation to Japan, or who are to be transferred to Japan, or come from companies intending to supply Japanese companies or wish to learn about management practices and technological developments in Japan. 
Deadline: 10  March 2022.

The candidate must:
- be a citizen of an EU Member State or of a COSME partnering country;
- work for a company that is > 50% EU or COSME partnering country owned;
- work for an organisation that is an EU or COSME partnering country juridical person;
- be supported by their employer and be able to participate in the entire programme;
- have a reasonable command of English;
- be a manager or an executive from an industrial company;
- have proven experience in industry.

All participants cover their travel costs to and from Japan as well as living expenses in Japan, including accommodation.
The EU-Japan Centre covers all training-related costs such as speakers' fees, room rental, transfers for company visits, etc for participants from SMEs.

Participants from SMEs need to pay a deposit of €1200 to guarantee attendance at all meetings, seminars and company visits. This deposit is refunded within 8 weeks after the mission and upon participant's completion of the post-event questionnaire. 
Participants from non-SMEs pay a small tuition fee of €1200  covering all training-related costs.

World Class Manufacturing WMC (five days)
- for EU managers and for EU senior executives - to assist EU companies to acquire a better understanding of how Japanese companies continually take costs out of their manufacturing, constantly innovating using "KAIZEN" manufacturing methods (continuous improvement), "JIT" (Just in Time), "TQC" (Total Quality Control), TIE (Total Industrial Engineering), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and "TQM" (Total Quality Management) practices.
Deadline: 25 November 2021 (Next session will take place online in March 2022).

• Target participants are:
• managers from industrial companies;
• minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in industry
• good knowledge of English;

• être soutenu par son employeur et être en mesure de participer à l'ensemble du programme 
• avoir une maîtrise raisonnable de l'anglais 
• être un dirigeant ou un cadre d'une entreprise industrielle 
• avoir une expérience avérée dans l'industrie

Tous les participants prennent en charge leurs frais de voyage à destination et en provenance du Japon ainsi que leurs frais de séjour au Japon, y compris le logement.

Le Centre UE-Japon prend en charge tous les frais liés à la formation, tels que les honoraires des intervenants, la location des salles, les transferts pour les visites d'entreprises, etc. pour les participants issus de PME.

Les participants issus de PME doivent verser une caution de 1 200 € pour garantir leur présence à toutes les réunions, séminaires et visites d'entreprises. Cette caution est remboursée dans les 8 semaines suivant la mission et après que le participant ait rempli le questionnaire post-événement.

Les participants non-PME paient des frais de scolarité minimes de 1 200 € couvrant tous les coûts liés à la formation.

World Class Manufacturing WMC (cinq jours) - pour les cadres de l'UE et les cadres supérieurs de l'UE - pour aider les entreprises de l'UE à mieux comprendre comment les entreprises japonaises éliminent continuellement les coûts de leur fabrication, en innovant constamment grâce aux méthodes de fabrication "KAIZEN" (amélioration continue), "JIT" (Just in Time), "TQC" (Total Quality Control), TIE (Total Industrial Engineering), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) et aux pratiques "TQM" (Total Quality Management).

Les participants doivent :

• être des cadres d'entreprises industrielles 
• avoir un minimum de 5 à 10 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans l'industrie
• avoir une bonne connaissance de l'anglais 
• être ressortissants d'un État membre de l'UE ou d'un pays partenaire du COSME 
• travailler pour une entreprise qui appartient à plus de 50 % à l'UE ou à un pays partenaire du COSME 
• travailler pour une organisation qui est une personne morale de l'UE ou d'un pays partenaire du COSME 
• être soutenus par leur employeur et être en mesure de participer à l'ensemble du programme 
• avoir une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais 
• être un employé/chef d'équipe impliqué dans les méthodes d'ingénierie ou la stratégie de production/service ou le contrôle de la production ou ayant une expérience dans la gestion des opérations 
• avoir une connaissance et une pratique des méthodes de production d'excellence.
