The European Commission co-finances information measures relating to the common agricultural policy (CAP) that aim, in particular, at building trust within the EU and among all citizens, farmers and non-farmers alike. The common agricultural policy (CAP) is a policy for all the citizens of the EU and the benefits that it provides to them must be clearly demonstrated.

Objectives

The general objective of the call is to inform citizens, farmers and non-farmers alike and to promote information about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) (i.e. the policy and its benefits for the citizens of the EU).

Themes

The CAP plays a key role in supporting the EU’s farming sector and rural areas. It aims to ensure a sustainable agriculture with respect to economic, social, and environmental aspects. In the framework of the European Green Deal, the Commission adopted a Farm to fork strategy, a Biodiversity strategy, and the Organic action plan, all of which address issues relevant to agriculture and rural areas.

Activities

The information measures should include one or several activities such as:

- production and distribution/broadcast of print, multimedia or audiovisual material;

- web and social media outreach activities that reach a significant number of citizens;

- media events;

- conferences, seminars, workshops that reach a significant number of citizens

- studies on CAP-related issues.

Target public:

- general public (with particular attention to young people in urban areas) and/or farmers and other parties active in rural areas and the agricultural sector.

More specifically:

- For young people in urban areas, school children, teachers and university students: new approaches should be used to engage with young people and raise their awareness of the CAP and the contribution that it makes in many areas such as the climate change challenge, food, healthy and high-quality eating as a lifestyle choice, in relation also with the EU School Scheme for Milk, Fruit and Vegetables and the Tartu Call.

- For stakeholders: stakeholders should be more aware of the contribution that the CAP makes to support the social, environmental and economic sustainability of agriculture.

Activities should be taking place in the eligible countries.

The maximum duration of the projects is 12 months.

Budget

The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of activities is estimated at EUR 4 000 000. 

Who can apply

Legal entities (public or private bodies) established in an EU Member State (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs).

They could be farmers or rural development organisations, European associations, non-governmental organisations, public authorities of the Member States, media companies, educational institutions, universities and research centers.

International organisations are eligible. The rules on eligible countries do not apply to them.

il pubblico in generale (con particolare attenzione ai giovani delle aree urbane) e/o gli agricoltori e altri soggetti attivi nelle aree rurali e nel settore agricolo.

Più specificamente:
- Per giovani nelle aree urbane, bambini in età scolare, insegnanti e studenti universitari: nuovi approcci dovrebbero essere utilizzati per interagire con i giovani e sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica sulla PAC e sul contributo che essa fornisce in molte aree come la sfida del cambiamento climatico, il cibo, un'alimentazione sana e di alta qualità come scelta di vita, in relazione anche al EU School Scheme for Milk, Fruit and Vegetables e il Tartu Call.
- Per le parti interessate: si dovrebbe garantire una maggiore consapevolezza del contributo che la PAC offre per sostenere la sostenibilità sociale, ambientale ed economica dell'agricoltura.

Le attività devono svolgersi nei paesi ammissibili. La durata massima delle misure di informazione è di 12 mesi.

Bilancio
Il bilancio totale stanziato per il cofinanziamento delle attività è stimato a 4 000 000 EUR.

Politica agrară comună (PAC) este o politică care se adresează tuturor cetățenilor UE, iar beneficiile pe care le oferă acestora trebuie sa fie prezentate cu claritate.

Obiective

Obiectivul general al acestui apel este de a crește nivelul de încredere în UE a tuturor cetățenilor, inclusiv fermierilor și de a promova informații despre PAC (de exemplu politica și beneficiile acesteia pentru cetățenii UE).

Tematici

PAC joacă un rol deosebit de important în sectorul fermierilor și în zonele rurale UE. Are drept scop asigurarea unei agriculturi sustenabile, respectând factorii factorii economici, sociali și de mediu. În cadrul Pactului Verde European, Comisia Europeană a adoptat strategia A Farm to fork, precum și strategia despre Biodiversitate și Planul de Acțiune Organic - toate acestea adresează priorități relevante pentru agricultură și zonele rurale.

Propunerile depuse:

• trebuie să cuprindă informații coerente, obiective și curprinzătoare, atât la nivel intern, cât și extern UE, pentru a oferi o imagine generală cât mai precisă despre CAP
• accentul trebuie să fie pus pe abordarea percepțiilor greșite și a dezinformarii cu privire la agricultura europeană și PAC, folosind exemple susținute cu date, în vederea creșterii gradului de conștientizare a publicului cu privire la relevanța sprijinului UE pentru agricultură și dezvoltare rurală prin PAC

Activități

• Activitățile de informare trebuie să includă una sau mai multe activități, cum ar fi:
• producția și distribuirea/difuzare de materiale tipărite, multimedia sau audiovizuale
• campanii web și social media de diseminare, care ajung la un număr foarte mare de cetățeni;
• evenimente media;
• conferințe, seminare, ateliere care ajung la un număr foarte mare de cetățeni;
• studii pe teme legate de PAC.

Publicul țintă:

Publicul larg (cu o atenție specială pentru tinerii din zonele urbane) și/sau fermierii și alte părți active în zonele rurale și în sectorul agricol.

Mai precis:

• Pentru tinerii din zonele urbane, elevi, profesori și studenți: folosirea de noi abordări pentru a se implica tinerii și pentru a-i sensibiliza cu privire la PAC și la contribuția pe care aceasta o aduce în multe domenii, cum ar fi provocarea schimbărilor climatice, alimentația, alimentația sănătoasă și de înaltă calitate ca alegere a stilului de viață, în legătură, de asemenea, cu programul UE pentru școli în domeniul laptelui, fructelor și legumelor și cu apelul de la Tartu.
• Pentru părțile interesate: părțile interesate ar trebui să fie mai conștiente de contribuția pe care PAC o aduce la susținerea sustenabilității sociale, ecologice și economice a agriculturii.

Activitățile de informare trebuie să fie organizate în țările eligibile.

Durata maximă a proiectelor este de 12 luni.

Buget

Bugetul total alocat pentru cofinanțarea activităților este estimat la 4.000.000 euro.

Cine poate să candideze

• Entități juridice (publice sau private) cu sediul într-un stat membru al UE (inclusiv țări și teritorii de peste mări).

Se co-financiarán las acciones que incluyan varias de las siguientes medidas:

• Producción y distribución de material multimedia y audiovisual,
• Producción y distribución de material impreso (canciones, carteles, etc),
• Configuración de Internet y las herramientas de redes sociales,
• Eventos de los medios de comunicación,
• Conferencias, seminarios o talleres,
• Eventos tipo "Granja en la ciudad", que ayudan a explicar la importancia de la agricultura para la población urbana,
• Jornadas de puertas abiertas, con el objetivo de mostrar a los ciudadanos el papel de la agricultura,
• Exposiciones estáticas o móviles o puntos de información.

Las medidas tienen que ser aplicadas desde el 1 de mayo de 2015 al 30 de abril de 2016.

El tema prioritario de esta convocatoria es la Política Agrícola Común (PAC) reformada.
Para los ciudadanos, los temas prioritarios que se tratarán serán temas generales sobre la PAC y deberán centrarse en sus tres elementos fundamentales : la seguridad alimentaria, la gestión sostenible de los recursos naturales y el desarrollo de las zonas rurales. El objetivo de estas acciones es dar a conocer a un gran número de personas  las cuestiones fundamentales de la PAC reformada .

Para los agentes rurales, las acciones deben centrarse en la aplicación de las nuevas medidas introducidas por la reforma de la PAC, y en temas específicos relacionados con las iniciativas puestas en marcha después de la reforma de la PAC, como las "granjas orgánicas".

Destinatarios:
• Las comunidades rurales , grupos de interés agrícola , agricultores y otros beneficiarios potenciales de las medidas de desarrollo rural.
• Público en general (con especial atención a los jóvenes de las zonas urbanas).

Presupuesto:                                                                                                                                                     El importe de la subvención solicitada de la Comisión deberá estar comprendida entre 75.000 y 300.000 euros por medida específica. La Comisión aportará el 50% de los costes subvencionables totales.

Solicitantes:

Cualquier organización legalmente establecidas en un Estado miembro de la UE puede solicitarlo: organizaciones agrarias o de desarrollo rural, organizaciones no gubernamentales, las autoridades públicas de los Estados miembros, las empresas de medios de comunicación, escuelas , instituciones educativas y universidades y centros de investigación.

 Fostering knowledge, innovation and digitisation in the agricultural sector;
 Enhancing environmental sustainability and climate resilience;
 Strengthening generational renewal and the socioeconomic fabric of rural areas;
 Ensuring a fair return to farmers from the agri-food chain to maintain the viability of European agricultural production and the future of the family farm model;
 Encouraging healthy eating habits for children and adults with the consumption of safe and sustainably-produced quality food and the distribution of agricultural products in the EU school scheme, as an important contribution to the Commission's healthy living initiative.

Support will go to actions which should include several of the following types of measures:
production and distribution of multimedia or audiovisual material,
production and distribution of printed material (pub­ lications, posters, etc.),
setting up online and social network tools,
media events,
conferences, seminars, workshops (preferably web streamed) and studies on CAP related issues,
events type "city farm" nature which help to explain the importance of agriculture to the urban population,
events type "open farm" nature aiming at showing to the citizens the role of agriculture (eg best practices, innovation projects),

The objective of these actions is to inform a large number of people about the basic issues of the reformed CAP.
For rural actors, actions should focus on the implementation of new measures introduced by the CAP reform and on specific issues related to policy initiatives initiated after the reform of the CAP, such as ‘organic farming’.

More specifically:

- general public: the focus of information on the CAP would put greater emphasis on addressing the (mis-) perceptions of European agriculture and the role of farming in society instead of the policy content. There needs to be also greater understanding of the enormous contribution the EU agri-food sector provides to the wider EU economy.
- stakeholders: it should be ensured that there is greater awareness of the contribution that the CAP makes to the support of economic growth of rural areas, especially SMEs. The contribution that is made through the Rural Development programmes should be promoted, through which the EU is investing almost EUR 100 billion in the period 2014-2020 for the development of European rural areas. It will also be emphasised the support provided for sustainable production practices and other measures that will help to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

Budget: total budget earmarked for the co-financing of activities is estimated at EUR 4 000 000. The maximum grant will be EUR 500 000.

Applicants: any organisation legally established in an EU Member State can apply: farmers' or rural development organisations, European associations, non-governmental organisations, public authorities of the Member States, medias companies, educational institutions, universities and research centers.

Zis Foundation is inviting young people of all nationalities between 16 and 20 to get the chance to receive a grant of 700 Euros for a self-organised study trip to a foreign country.

Who can apply
- young people between 16 and 20 years old;

- not yet attending university.

Conditions of the journey
- it researches a topic chosen by the participant;
- it is undertaken alone;
- it is paid with the grant (700 euros) alone;
- it lasts four weeks at least;
- it takes the participant abroad, if you are not from Germany you either have to travel to a German speaking country or you have to have a subject related to Germany;
- transport by plane is not allowed;
- trips to regions of warfare or violent ethnic conflicts will not be sponsored;
- every participant has a personal advisor (mentor) to help to organise the trip via e-mail;
- participants hand in a project report (8000 words at least), a travel diary or an alternative documentation.

How to apply
- candidates have to complete the application form;
- parents are asked to complete a consent form (even if the candidate has reached the majority age).

Wer kann sich bewerben

- Junge Menschen zwischen 16 und 20 Jahren;

- aus allen Nationalitäten;

- die noch nicht an einer Universität eingeschrieben sind.

Bedingungen der Reise

- sie verfolgt ein vom Teilnehmer gewähltes Thema;

- sie wird alleine unternommen;

- sie wird allein mit dem Stipendium (700 Euro) bezahlt;

- sie dauert mindestens vier Wochen;

- sie führt den/die Teilnehmer/-in ins Ausland, z.B. Deutsche Staatsangehörige und Einwohner Deutschlands sollten nicht in Deutschland reisen;

- Reisen mit dem Flugzeug sind nicht erlaubt;

- Reisen in Kriegsgebiete oder in Gebiete mit gewaltsamen ethnischen Konflikten werden nicht gefördert;

- Jeder Teilnehmer hat einen persönlichen Berater (Mentor), der ihn bei der Organisation der Reise per E-Mail unterstützt.

- Die Teilnehmer reichen nach der Rückkehr einen Studienbericht (mindestens 8000 Wörter), ein Tagebucheintrag und eine Stellungnahme in deutscher oder englischer Sprache ein.

- külföldre viszi a részvevőt, ha a résztvevő nem német származású, vagy német nyelvet beszélő országba szóljon az utazás, vagy Németországhoz kapcsolódjon a kutatási téma;
- repülővel törtnő utazás nem megengedett;
- a háborús vagy erőszakos etnikai konfliktusok sújtotta régiókba történő utazások nem kerülnek támogatásra;
- minden résztvevő rendelkezik saját tanácsadóval (mentorral), aki e-mailen segít az utazás megszervezésében;
- a résztvevőknek be kell nyújtania az utazás végén egy legalább 8000 szóból álló beszámolót a projektről, utazási naplót, vagy egyéb alternatív formában történő dokumentációt.

Condiții de călătorie

• explorează un subiect ales de participant;

• este plătită cu grantul acordat (700 de euro);

Conditions of the journey

- it researches a topic chosen by the participant;

- trips to regions of warfare or violent ethnic conflicts will not be sponsored;
- every participant has a personal advisor (mentor) to help to organise the trip via e-mail;
- participants hand in a study report (8000 words at least), a diary and a statement within three months after return in German or English.

This Call for Proposals implements the EP Pilot Project "A European public sphere: a new online media offer for young Europeans". The call seeks to bring the EU closer to young people, encourage them to become active citizens, and connect them across borders.

Objective

The action aims to engage with young Europeans by creating curated online spaces that gather thought-provoking content around current affairs, empowering them to compare perspectives from across Europe and discuss and discover how their interests link to the interests of young Europeans in other Member States, and to relevant EU initiatives. 

Eligibility

Eligible applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must: 

• be legal entities (public or private bodies) 
• be established in one of the EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs). 

 Proposals may be submitted by any of the following applicants or combinations of: 

• News media organisations
• Non profit organisations, including youth organisations (private or public).

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least 5 applicants from 5 different EU Member States.

Associated partners, if any, are considered third parties. They are not applicants, not part of the consortium, and hence do not count for the minimum number of applicants. 

Eligible activities

The following types of activities are eligible under this call for proposals: 

• Coordination; 
• Journalistic production and content distribution; 
• Organisation of youth events and other youth engagement activities; 
• Creation and maintenance of websites and platforms;
• Online advertising (max 10% of the total eligible direct costs); 
• Other promotion and dissemination actions; 
• Actions aiming at the creation and improvement of networks, such as exchanges of good practices among youth media reporters; 
• Analyses and mapping of perceptions among youth; 
• Financial support to third parties (e.g. competition for young journalists, or support for projects (by media organisations, journalists, etc. that provide independent journalistic coverage of current affairs for youth). 
• Proposals must relate to activities taking place in the eligible countries. The territorial focus of this action is EU Member States. 

Funding

The Commission expects to fund up to 4 proposals, with a maximum grant set at €3.2 million per project. The maximum rate of co-financing is 80% of eligible costs, applicants may propose a lower co-funding rate.

• Die Vorschläge müssen sich auf Aktivitäten beziehen, die in den förderfähigen Ländern stattfinden. Der territoriale Schwerpunkt dieser Aktion liegt auf den EU-Mitgliedstaaten.

Förderung

In questo modo, contribuisce anche all'Anno europeo della gioventù 2022.

Obiettivo
L'azione mira a coinvolgere i giovani europei creando spazi online curati che raccolgano contenuti stimolanti sull'attualità, consentendo loro di confrontare le prospettive di tutta Europa e di discutere e scoprire come i loro interessi si colleghino a quelli dei giovani europei di altri Stati membri e alle pertinenti iniziative dell'UE. 

Ammissibilità
I candidati ammissibili (beneficiari ed enti affiliati) devono: 
-essere persone giuridiche (enti pubblici o privati) 
-essere stabiliti in uno degli Stati membri dell'UE (compresi i Paesi e territori d'oltremare -PTOM). 

Le proposte possono essere presentate da uno dei seguenti richiedenti o da combinazioni di essi: 
-Organizzazioni giornalistiche
-Organizzazioni senza scopo di lucro, comprese le organizzazioni giovanili (private o pubbliche).
Le proposte devono essere presentate da un consorzio di almeno 5 candidati provenienti da 5 diversi Stati membri dell'UE.

• Organizații de presă;
• Organizații non-profit, inclusiv organizații de tineret (private sau publice).

Culture Moves Europe is the new EU mobility scheme that offers grants to artists, cultural professionals and host organisations in all Creative Europe countries who work in the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts, and visual arts.

The scheme aims to foster sustainable and inclusive mobility and give particular attention to emerging artists and cultural professionals. It is funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut.

Culture Moves Europe is composed of two action lines:

• Individual mobility for artists and cultural professionals;
• Residencies for host organisations.

The Individual Mobility Action of Culture Moves Europe provides financial support to partially fund the cost of travel (transport, accommodation, etc.) of an artist or a cultural professional residing in a Creative Europe country and going to another Creative Europe country to implement a project with an international partner (organisation or individual). The international partner (organisation or individual) is an associate that agrees to host the individual artist(s), guides him/her/them through their working environment, and implements the project with him/her/them.

Eligibility

• Artists and culture professionals (individuals or groups of up to 5 people) who are at least 18 years old and reside legally in a Creative Europe country. 
• Applicants can come from all cultural and creative sectors covered in the Culture Strand of the Creative Europe programme (architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts and visual arts);
• Applicants legally residing in Ukraine will exceptionally have the option to directly apply for a virtual mobility.

Mobility Conditions

The mobility duration includes travel time and project implementation:

• For single individual: the duration should be between 7 and 60 days,
• For groups of individuals (2 to 5 people): the duration should be between 7 and 21 days;
• The mobility must take place within one year, starting from the signature of the grant agreement; It must be uninterrupted and take place in a single destination.
• Each applicant is allowed to submit only one application as an individual or a group within the first rolling call.
• Beneficiaries of an i-Portunus mobility grant are eligible to apply, but priority will be given to first-time applicants;
• Beneficiaries from the Culture Moves Europe Mobility Scheme are not allowed to re-apply;
• The mobility support cannot be awarded retrospectively for actions and projects already completed.

Funding

The grant is composed of a travel allowance (between 350 EUR and 700 EUR), a daily allowance (75 EUR per person) and individual top-ups. 

The mobility grant includes:

• Travel costs from the place of residence to the place of destination.
• Culture Moves Europe aims at encouraging applicants to choose sustainable ways of travelling and to opt for slow travel.
• For people residing or willing to implement a project further than 5.001km from their place of residence, the travel grant is adapted to contribute to the cost of this long-distance travel.
• Daily allowance (also called ‘per diem’) to contribute to the accommodation and subsistence.
• Extra costs and top-ups are available to support the inclusion of people from various backgrounds and profiles (including people from and going to Overseas Countries and Territories and Outermost Regions, visas, disability, with children below the age of 10), as well as to promote more sustainable or slow travel.

Applicants need to:

Инициативата има за цел да насърчи устойчива и приобщаваща мобилност и да обърне специално внимание на новите артисти и културни професионалисти. Финансирането е от програма „Творческа Европа“ на Европейския съюз и се изпълнява от Гьоте-институт.

Културата движи Европа се състои от две дейности:

• Индивидуална мобилност за артисти и културни професионалисти;
• Резиденции за приемащи организации.

Дейността за индивидуална мобилност на Culture Moves Europe предоставя финансова подкрепа за частично финансиране на разходите за пътуване (транспорт, настаняване и т.н.) на артист или професионалист в областта на културата, който живее в държава, легитимна да участва в „Творческа Европа“ и отива в друга държава от „Творческа Европа“, за да реализира проект с международен партньор (организация или физическо лице). • Кандидатите могат да идват от всички културни и творчески сектори, обхванати от Културното направление на програмата „Творческа Европа“ (архитектура, културно наследство, дизайн и моден дизайн, литературен превод, музика, сценични изкуства и визуални изкуства);
• Кандидатите, пребиваващи законно в Украйна, по изключение ще имат възможност директно да кандидатстват за виртуална мобилност.

Условия за мобилност

Продължителността на мобилността включва време за пътуване и изпълнение на проекта:

• За едно лице: продължителността трябва да бъде между 7 и 60 дни,
• За групи от лица (2 до 5 души): продължителността трябва да бъде между 7 и 21 дни.
• Мобилността трябва да се проведе в рамките на една година, считано от подписването на споразумението за безвъзмездна помощ; тя трябва да бъде непрекъсната и да се извършва в една дестинация.
• Всеки кандидат има право да подаде само едно заявление като индивидуално или групово в рамките на първата покана.
• Бенефициентите на безвъзмездна помощ за мобилност i-Portunus имат право да кандидатстват, но приоритет ще се дава на кандидатите, които искат да участват за първи път;
• Бенефициентите от схемата за мобилност Culture Moves Europe нямат право да кандидатстват повторно;

Culture Moves Europe est le nouveau programme de mobilité de l'UE qui offre des subventions aux artistes, aux professionnels de la culture et aux organisations d'accueil de tous les pays de l'Europe créative qui travaillent dans les secteurs de l'architecture, du patrimoine culturel, du design et du stylisme, de la traduction littéraire, de la musique, des arts du spectacle et des arts visuels.

Ce programme vise à encourager la mobilité durable et inclusive et à accorder une attention particulière aux artistes et professionnels de la culture émergents. Il est financé par le programme Europe créative de l'Union européenne et mis en œuvre par le Goethe-Institut.

Culture Moves Europe est composé de deux lignes d'action :

Éligibilité

• Artistes et professionnels de la culture (individuels ou groupes de 5 personnes maximum) âgés d'au moins 18 ans et résidant légalement dans un pays du programme Europe Créative ;
• Les candidats peuvent provenir de tous les secteurs culturels et créatifs couverts par le volet Culture du programme Europe Créative (architecture, patrimoine culturel, design et création de mode, traduction littéraire, musique, arts du spectacle et arts visuels) ;
• Les candidats résidant légalement en Ukraine auront exceptionnellement la possibilité de postuler directement à une mobilité virtuelle.

Conditions

La durée de la mobilité comprend le temps de déplacement et la mise en œuvre du projet :

• Pour un individu seul : la durée doit être comprise entre 7 et 60 jours ;
• Pour les groupes d'individus (2 à 5 personnes) : la durée doit être comprise entre 7 et 21 jours ;
• La mobilité doit avoir lieu dans un délai d'un an, à compter de la signature de la convention de subvention ; Elle doit être ininterrompue et se dérouler sur une seule destination.

Financement

La bourse se compose d'une allocation de voyage (entre 350 et 700 euros), d'une allocation journalière (75 euros par personne) et de compléments individuels :

• Les frais de voyage du lieu de résidence au lieu de destination.
• Culture Moves Europe vise à encourager les candidats à choisir des modes de déplacement durables et à opter pour un "slow travel".
• Pour les personnes résidant ou souhaitant mettre en œuvre un projet à plus de 5.001 km de leur lieu de résidence, la bourse de mobilité est adaptée pour contribuer au coût de ce voyage longue distance.
• Indemnité journalière (également appelée "per diem") pour contribuer à l'hébergement et à la subsistance.

The scheme aims to foster sustainable and inclusive mobility and give particular attention to emerging artists and cultural professionals. It is funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut.

Culture Moves Europe is composed of two action lines:

• Individual mobility for artists and cultural professionals;
• Residencies for host organisations.

The Individual Mobility Action of Culture Moves Europe provides financial support to partially fund the cost of travel (transport, accommodation, etc.) of an artist or a cultural professional residing in a Creative Europe country and going to another Creative Europe country to implement a project with an international partner (organisation or individual). The international partner (organisation or individual) is an associate that agrees to host the individual artist(s), guides him/her/them through their working environment, and implements the project with him/her/them.

Eligibility

• Artists and culture professionals (individuals or groups of up to 5 people) who are at least 18 years old and reside legally in a Creative Europe country. 
• Applicants can come from all cultural and creative sectors covered in the Culture Strand of the Creative Europe programme (architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts and visual arts);
• Applicants legally residing in Ukraine will exceptionally have the option to directly apply for a virtual mobility.

Mobility Conditions

The mobility duration includes travel time and project implementation:

• For single individual: the duration should be between 7 and 60 days,
• For groups of individuals (2 to 5 people): the duration should be between 7 and 21 days;
• The mobility must take place within one year, starting from the signature of the grant agreement; It must be uninterrupted and take place in a single destination.
• Each applicant is allowed to submit only one application as an individual or a group within the first rolling call.
• Beneficiaries of an i-Portunus mobility grant are eligible to apply, but priority will be given to first-time applicants;
• Beneficiaries from the Culture Moves Europe Mobility Scheme are not allowed to re-apply;
• The mobility support cannot be awarded retrospectively for actions and projects already completed.

Funding

The grant is composed of a travel allowance (between 350 EUR and 700 EUR), a daily allowance (75 EUR per person) and individual top-ups. 

The mobility grant includes:

• Travel costs from the place of residence to the place of destination.
• Culture Moves Europe aims at encouraging applicants to choose sustainable ways of travelling and to opt for slow travel.
• For people residing or willing to implement a project further than 5.001km from their place of residence, the travel grant is adapted to contribute to the cost of this long-distance travel.
• Daily allowance (also called ‘per diem’) to contribute to the accommodation and subsistence.
• Extra costs and top-ups are available to support the inclusion of people from various backgrounds and profiles (including people from and going to Overseas Countries and Territories and Outermost Regions, visas, disability, with children below the age of 10), as well as to promote more sustainable or slow travel.

• Solicitanții care au reședința legală în Ucraina vor avea, în mod excepțional, opțiunea de a aplica direct pentru o mobilitate virtuală.

Condiții de mobilitate

Durata mobilității include timpul de călătorie și implementarea proiectului:

Culture Moves Europe is the new EU mobility scheme that offers grants to artists, cultural professionals and host organisations in all Creative Europe countries who work in the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts, and visual arts.

Culture Moves Europe is composed of two action lines:

• Individual mobility for artists and cultural professionals;
• Residencies for host organisations.

This call is open to residency hosts that are legal entities (e.g. non-for-profit, private, public bodies, foundations, etc.) in one of the Creative Europe countries and that are active in the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design, and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts.

Mobility grant

The residency grant contributes to the costs connected to hosting international artists and cultural professionals and their mobility. Accommodation is provided by the residency host. The grant includes travel allowance and daily allowance for the participating artists and cultural professionals. It is part of the residency grant that hosts will receive. The travel allowance depends on the participants’ travel distance and means of transportation. 

• Travel distance under 5 000 km: standard amount of €350
• Travel distance from 5 000 km: standard amount of €700
• Daily allowance €25 per day, per participant artist or cultural professional.
• Green mobility top-up: €350
• Overseas Countries and Territories or Outermost Regions top-ups: €150
• Visa top-up: €80
• Disability support: up to €75 per day, per participant.
• Family top-up: €100

How to apply

Hosts need to submit a residency proposal that includes its objectives, expected impact, and duration. Hosts will act as a mentor to artists and cultural professionals and should provide them with the environment, support, and equipment adapted to their field of expertise so that they can focus on their individual or collective projects.

Hosts can welcome between 1 and 5 international artists and cultural professionals who must all participate in the residency project on the same dates and for the same duration. The residency can last between 22 and 300 days.

Hosts can choose one of the following durations:

• Short-term residency project: between 22 and 60 days.
• Medium-term residency project: between 61 and 120 days.
• Long-term residency project: between 121 and 300 days.

When

Selected residency projects must be carried out and completed within 1 year from the signature of the grant agreement. The earliest start date of the residency project is 5 April 2024.

Как да кандидатствате

Домакините трябва да подадат предложение за резиденция, което да включва цели, очаквано въздействие и продължителност. Gazdele trebuie să prezinte o propunere de rezidență care să includă obiectivele, impactul preconizat și durata. Gazdele vor acționa ca mentori pentru artiști și profesioniști din domeniul cultural și ar trebui să le ofere mediul, sprijinul și echipamentele adaptate domeniului lor de expertiză, astfel încât aceștia să se poată concentra pe proiectele lor individuale sau colective.

Organizațiile gazdă pot primi între 1 și 5 artiști și profesioniști culturali internaționali, care trebuie să participe la proiectul de rezidență la aceleași date și pe aceeași durată. Rezidența poate dura între 22 și 300 de zile.

Organizațiile gazdă pot alege una dintre următoarele durate:

Proiect de rezidență pe termen scurt: între 22 și 60 de zile.

Proiect de rezidență pe termen mediu: între 61 și 120 de zile.

Proiect de rezidență pe termen lung: între 121 și 300 de zile.

Când?

Proiectele de rezidență selectate trebuie să fie realizate și finalizate în termen de 1 an de la semnarea acordului de grant. Cea mai apropiată dată de începere a proiectului de rezidență este 5 aprilie 2024.

Civil Society Projects explore innovative methods of citizens’ participation. The Civil Society Projects aims to support a variety of projects of a transnational and cross-sectoral dimension, directly involving citizens. Those projects should gather citizens from different horizons, who will act together or debate on common European issues, at local and European level.

This third measure is part of the Strand 2. Democratic engagement and civic participation within the “Europe for Citizens” 2014-2020 programme. This strand aims to foster European citizenship and improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at EU level, to encourage democratic participation of citizens at EU level and to support concrete participation in the EU policy-making process. 
The Civil Society Projects measure is directed at activities involving citizens and at bringing together people from local communities across Europe to share and exchange experiences, opinions and values, to learn from history and to build for the future. It encourages meetings, exchanges and debates among European citizens from different countries and through different means.
 

Volunteering is an essential element in active citizenship: by giving one’s time for the benefit of others, volunteers service their community and play an active role in society. They develop the sense of belonging to a community thereby also gaining ownership. Volunteering is therefore a particularly powerful means to develop citizens’ commitment to their society and to its political life. Civil society organisations, associations of a European general interest, town twinning associations and other participating organisations often rely on volunteer work to carry out and to develop their activities. Therefore, particular attention is paid to the promotion of volunteering, in particular through the European Solidarity Corps.
In its first phase, the European Solidarity Corps, the new EU initiative which aims at giving young people across the EU the opportunity to volunteer where help is needed and to respond to crisis situations, will build on existing EU programmes including the Europe for Citizens programme. In this context, project promoters are encouraged to make use of the European Solidarity Corps. 
Promoters making use of members of the European Solidarity Corps must comply with the requirements laid down by the European Solidarity Corps Charter, including the requirement relating to the insurance of the members. Indeed, within the framework of the Europe for Citizens Programme, the Agency does not provide directly or indirectly an insurance coverage to the volunteers/members used by the promoters for their projects. It is therefore for each promoter to ensure that the volunteers/members they are making use of are properly insured for their activities. 
All the eligible countries within the Europe for Citizens programme can participate to the European Solidarity Corps initiative.

2.3 - Civil Society Projects
The specific objectives are to support projects gathering citizens in activities directly linked to EU policies, providing an opportunity for direct participation in the policy making process.
A Civil Society Project must include at least two of the following three types of activities:
- promotion of societal engagement and solidarity: activities able to promoting debate/campaigns/actions on the themes of common interest in the larger framework of the rights and responsibilities of the Union citizens and making the link to the European political agenda and policy making process;
- gathering of opinions: activities aiming at gathering the individual opinions of the citizens on a specific topic to be yearly defined, favouring a bottom up approach (including the use of social networks, webinars, etc.) and media literacy;
- volunteering: activities promoting solidarity among Union citizens and beyond.

 

Applicant and partners
- Type of organisation: non-profit organisations, including civil society organisations, educational, cultural or research institutions, other organisations involved in the project can also be public local/regional authorities.
- Number of Partners: A project must involve organisations from at least 3 eligible countries of which at least two are an EU Member State.

Maximum eligible grant for a project: 150 000 EUR.
The activities must take place in any of the eligible countries.
The project must start within the relevant eligibility period.
Maximum project duration is 18 months.

- 28 EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
- Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo.
For British applicants: please be aware that eligibility criteria must be complied with for the entire duration of the grant. If the United Kingdom withdraws from the EU during the grant period without concluding an agreement with the EU ensuring in particular that British applicants continue to be eligible, British applicants will cease to receive EU funding (while continuing, where possible, to participate) or be required to leave the project.
The Programme is potentially open to the following categories of countries provided that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commission:
a) acceding countries, candidate countries and potential candidates, in accordance with the general principles and general terms and conditions for the participation of those countries in Union programmes established in the respective Framework Agreements, Association Council Decisions or similar Agreements;
b) the EFTA countries party to the EEA Agreement, in accordance with the provisions of that Agreement.

Het programma ‘Europa voor de burger’ heeft de volgende algemene doelstellingen:

Budget/projectfinanciering

Het Europa voor de burger programma heeft een totale begroting van 215 miljoen euro voor een periode van zeven jaar (2007-2013). Voor actie 1 is tenminste 45% vrijgemaakt.

De toegekende projectsubsidie mag niet meer bedragen dan 60 % van de totale subsidiabele kosten van het project, zoals gespecificeerd in de gedetailleerde begroting. De subsidie bedraagt per project tussen 100 000 en 250 000 EUR.

Proiectele societății civile explorează metode inovatoare de participare a cetățenilor. Proiectele Societății Civile își propun să sprijine o varietate de proiecte de dimensiune transnațională și intersectorială, care presupun implicarea directă a cetățenilor. Aceste proiecte trebuie să strângă laolaltă cetățeni proveniți din diferite zone, care vor acționa împreună sau vor dezbate problemele europene comune, la nivel local și european.

Această a treia măsură este parte a angajamentului Democraţia și participarea civică din cadrul programului 2014-2020 "Europa pentru cetățeni". Această componentă își propune să încurajeze cetățenia europeană și îmbunătățirea condițiilor de participare civică și democratică la nivelul UE, pentru a încuraja participarea democratică a cetățenilor europeni și pentru a sprijini participarea concretă la procesul de elaborare a politicilor UE. Proiectele societăţii civile se referă la activități care implică cetățeni și la reunirea persoanelor din comunitățile locale din toată Europa pentru a împărtăși și schimba experiențe, opinii și valori, pentru a învăța din istorie și pentru a construi viziuni pentru viitor. Žncurajează întâlniri, schimburi și dezbateri în rândul cetățenilor europeni din țări diferite, prin varii mijloace.

2.3 - Proiecte ale societății civile
Obiectivele specifice sunt de a sprijini proiectele de implicare a cetățenilor în activități direct legate de politicile UE, oferind o oportunitate pentru participarea directă la procesul de elaborare a politicilor.

Activitățile finanțate pot include:
- Promovarea implicării în societate și a solidarităţii (activități capabile să promoveze dezbateri / campanii / acțiuni pe teme de interes comun în cadrul mai larg al drepturilor și responsabilităților cetățenilor Uniunii și de a face legătura cu procesul de luare a deciziilor politice din agenda europeană);
- Colectarea de opinii (activități care vizează colectarea opiniilor individuale ale cetățenilor pe un anumit subiect care urmează să fie definit anual, favorizând o abordare de jos în sus, inclusiv utilizarea rețelelor sociale, webinarii, etc. și mass-media pentru alfabetizare);
- Voluntariat (activități de promovare a solidarității între cetățenii Uniunii și ai celor din afară).

Solicitanții eligibili:
- Organizații non-profit, inclusiv organizații ale societății civile, instituții de învățământ, culturale sau de cercetare
Parteneri de proiect eligibili sunt autoritățile publice locale / regionale sau organizații non-profit, inclusiv organizațiile societății civile, instituții de învățământ, culturale sau de cercetare, comitete de înfrățire ale orașelor și reţelele.
Un proiect trebuie să implice cel puțin 5 țări participante, dintre care cel puțin una să fie un stat membru al UE.

Numărul de parteneri:
Un proiect trebuie să implice organizații din cel puțin 3 țări, dintre care cel puțin una să fie un stat membru al UE.

Subvenție maximă eligibilă pentru un proiect: 150.000 EUR.
Activitățile trebuie să aibă loc în oricare dintre țările eligibile.
Proiectul trebuie să înceapă în perioada de eligibilitate.
Durata maximă a proiectului este de 18 luni.

Statele participante:
- cele 28 state membre ale UE: Austria, Belgia, Bulgaria, Croația, Cipru, Republica Cehă, Danemarca, Estonia, Finlanda, Franța, Germania, Grecia, Ungaria, Irlanda, Italia, Letonia, Lituania, Luxemburg, Malta, Olanda, Polonia, Portugalia, România, Slovacia, Slovenia, Spania, Suedia, Marea Britanie.
- Țările AELS, țările în curs de aderare, țările candidate și țările potențial candidate sunt eligibile, cu condiția să fi semnat un memorandum de înțelegere cu Comisia Europeană.

Data limită: 1 martie 2016, ora 12:00 (CET, ora Brussels), pentru proiecte care încep între 1 august în acelaşi an şi 31 ianuarie anul următor.

Projekti državljanov in podporni ukrepi odkrivajo inovativne metode za participacijo državljanov. Ukrepi za projekte državljanov podpirajo mnogo različnih projektov mednacionalnih in medsektorskih dimenzij in neposredno vključujejo državljane. Ti projekti naj bi zbrali državljane iz različnih obzorij, ki bi delovali ali razpravljali o skupnih evropskih temah, na lokalni in evropski ravni. Vključene bi bile tudi metode, ki upoštevajo participacijo državljanov.

Ta akcija je del programa »Evropa za državljane«. Akcija 1 – aktivni državljani za Evropo spodbuja aktivnosti, ki vključujejo državljane in združujejo ljudi iz lokalnih skupnosti po Evropi, da si med seboj izmenjujejo izkušnje, mnenja in vrednote, da se učijo iz zgodovine in da gradijo prihodnost. Spodbuja srečanja, izmenjave in razprave med Evropskimi državljani iz različnih držav in preko različnih sredstev.

 Ukrep 2.1 – projekti državljanov

Specifični cilji teh projektov so:

•  zbirati mnenja državljanov o nekaterih ključnih evropskih izzivih za prihodnost (glej teme);
•  odkriti nove metode, ki bi spodbujale aktivno interakcijo in razpravo med državljani o specifičnih politikah EU, ki vplivajo na njihova vsakodnevna življenja;
•  ustvariti mehanizme, ki bi evropskim državljanom omogočili razviti državljanske kompetence, formulirati svoje poglede in mnenja o evropskem integracijskem procesu v obliki priporočil za odločevalce na evropski ravni;
•  spodbuditi dialog med evropskimi državljani in institucijami EU, zagotoviti zbiranje mnenj državljanov o institucijah EU.

 Primerni kandidati so:
•  lokalne oblasti
•  neprofitne organizacije ali civilna družba s pravnim statusom

 Primerni projektni partnerji so javna telesa ali neprofitne organizacije, locirane v sodelujočih državah.

Pri projektu mora sodelovati najmanj 5 držav,  od katerih je vsaj ena država članica EU.

 Število sodelujočih:
• Projekt mora vključevati vsaj 200 udeležencev
• Vsaj 20 % udeležencev projekta mora prihajati iz držav, ki niso država gostiteljica,

Ukrep 2.2 – podporni ukrepi

Ta ukrep je orodje za razvijanje kakovosti projektov v akciji 1 »Aktivni državljani za Evropo«. Podpira izmenjavo izkušenj in dobrih praks, in tudi aktivnosti, ki lahko vodijo k vzpostavitvi dolgotrajnih partnerstev in mrež.

 Podporni ukrepi imajo lahko mnogo oblik, kot so:
• Svetovanje in praktični nasveti za pripravo in izvedbo kakovostnih projektov
• Usposabljanje
• Nacionalni in transnacionalni dogodki, ki spodbujajo koncept pobratenja mest med lokalnimi oblastmi

• neprofitna organizacija s pravnim statusom (pravna oseba), ustanovljena v eni izmed držav, ki sodelujejo v programu.

 Partnerstva
• izbrani partnerski projekti so združenja ali federacije lokalnih oblasti ali neprofitnih organizacij s pravnim statusom (pravne osebe), locirane v sodelujočih državah.
• število udeležencev: projekt mora vključevati vsaj 2 sodelujoči državi, od katerih je vsaj ena država članica.

Los proyectos de la sociedad civil exploran métodos innovadores de participación ciudadana. Las medidas de los proyectos de la sociedad civil tienen como fin apoyar una variedad de proyectos con dimensión transnacional y intersectorial, que involucren directamente a los ciudadanos. Estos proyectos deben reunir a ciudadanos de entornos diferentes, que actuarán o debatirán sobre cuestiones europeas, a nivel local y europeo.

La tercera medida es parte del Capítulo 2. La participación democrática y la participación ciudadana dentro del programa Europa con los Ciudadanos 2014-2020. Este capítulo tiene por objeto fomentar la ciudadanía europea y mejorar las condiciones para la participación cívica y democrática a nivel de la UE, para fomentar la participación democrática de los ciudadanos en la UE y para apoyar la participación concreta en el proceso de formulación de políticas de la UE. La medida de los proyectos de la sociedad civil está dirigido a las actividades que involucran a los ciudadanos y juntan a personas de diferentes comunidades locales a lo largo de Europa para compartir e intercambiar experiencia, opiniones y valores, para aprender de la historia y para construir el futuro. 2.3 - Proyectos de la sociedad civil.
Los objetivos específicos son apoyar proyectos de recopilación de los ciudadanos en las actividades directamente relacionadas con las políticas de la UE, proporcionando una oportunidad para la participación directa en el proceso de formulación de políticas.
Las actividades financiadas pueden incluir:
- La promoción de la participación social y la solidaridad (actividades capaces de promover el debate / campañas / acciones sobre los temas de interés común en el marco más amplio de los derechos y responsabilidades de los ciudadanos de la Unión y hacer el enlace en el proceso de la agenda política y latoma de decisiones europeas.
- Recopilación de opiniones (actividades encaminadas a la recopilación de las opiniones individuales de los ciudadanos en un tema específico que se define anualmente, lo que favorece un enfoque de abajo arriba, incluyendo el uso de las redes sociales, seminarios, etc., y los medios de alfabetización).

The purpose of the IFCD is to promote sustainable development and poverty reduction in developing countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The IFCD supports projects that aim to foster the emergence of a dynamic cultural sector, primarily by facilitating the introduction of new cultural policies and cultural industries, or strengthening existing ones.

Eligibility

The beneficiaries of the Fund are developing, economies in transition and least-developed countries that are Parties to the Convention.

Therefore, those who are eligible to apply to the Fund are:

• Public authorities and institutions from eligible countries (developing countries Parties to the 2005 Convention).
• Non-governmental organisations from eligible countries (developing countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention), which meet the definition of civil society as mentioned in the Operational guidelines relating to the role and participation of civil society;
• International non-governmental organisations, registered in countries Parties to the 2005 Convention.

Projects

Projects must be implemented and/or benefit only eligible countries (developing countries Parties to the 2005 Convention).

The project implementation period shall be between 12 and 24 months.

The projects should start, at the earliest, in April 2024, following the approval of the project by the Intergovernmental Committee in February 2024.

How to apply

All funding requests are to be sent to the relevant National Commissions for UNESCO or other official channels designated by the States Parties, who will then submit them to the Secretariat of the Convention.

INGOs should submit applications directly to the Secretariat of the Convention if their programme/project proposals are supported in writing by the States Parties concerned.

Budget

Maximum amount that can be requested from the IFCD is $100,000 for programmes/projects.

Application should be completed in either English or French.

Come presentare domanda
Tutte le richieste di finaziamento devono essere inviate alle relative Commissioni Nazionali per l'UNESCO o altri canali ufficiali designati dagli stati membro, che saranno successivamente inviate al Segretariato della Convenzione. Le INGO devono presentare domanda direttamente al Segretariato della Convenzione se le loro proposte di programma/progetto sono supportate nella redazione dai paesi membro in questione. 

Il periodo di attuazione del progetto deve essere compreso tra 12 e 24 mesi. L'importo massimo che può essere richiesto è di 100.000 USD. I progetti dovrebbero iniziare, al più presto, nell'aprile 2023, dopo l'approvazione del progetto da parte del Comitato intergovernativo nel febbraio 2023.

El propósito de la FIDC es promover el desarrollo sostenible y la reducción de la pobreza en los países en desarrollo que son Parte de la Convención de 2005 sobre la Protección y Promoción de la Diversidad de las Expresiones Culturales. El FIDC apoya proyectos que tienen como objetivo propiciar el surgimiento de un sector cultural dinámico, sobre todo facilitando la introducción de nuevas políticas culturales y de industrias culturales, o el fortalecimiento de las ya existentes.

Elegibilidad:
Los beneficiarios del Fondo son los países en desarrollo y menos adelantados que son Partes de la Convención. Por lo tanto, aquellos que son elegibles para solicitar el Fondo son los siguientes:

-todos los países en desarrollo que son Partes de la Convención;

-todos los Estados Partes de la Convención que han determinado la existencia de situaciones especiales en su territorio, de conformidad con los artículos 8 y 17 de la Convención y de las directrices operacionales;

-las organizaciones no gubernamentales de países en desarrollo que son Partes en la Convención, que tienen  trabajan con la definición de la sociedad civil como se indica en las directrices operativas relativas al papel y la participación de la sociedad civil;

-organizaciones internacionales no gubernamentales, que cumplen con la definición de la sociedad civil como se indica en las directrices operativas relativas al papel y la participación de la sociedad civil, y que presentan proyectos con un impacto a nivel subregional, regional o interregional;

-los representantes de grupos vulnerables y de otros grupos sociales identificados en el artículo 7 de la Convención de 2005 (es decir, mujeres y otros grupos sociales, incluidas las personas pertenecientes a minorías y pueblos indígenas) de los países en desarrollo que son Partes de la Convención de 2005.

La distribución geográfica equitativa de los recursos del FIDC ha de ser garantizada en la medida de lo posible.

Cómo solicitarlo:
Todas las solicitudes de financiación deberán ser enviadas a las Comisiones Nacionales para la UNESCO pertinentes o a otros conductos oficiales designados por los Estados Partes, que a su vez las envíen a la Secretaría de la Convención. Las ONG’s deben enviar sus solicitudes directamente a la Secretaría de la Convención, si su programa/propuestas de proyectos son apoyados por escrito por los Estados Partes interesados.

La cantidad máxima que puede solicitarse a la FIDC es de $ 100.000 para los programas y proyectos y de 10.000 dólares para la asistencia preparatoria.

Plazos:
Los solicitantes deben preguntar a sus Comisiones Nacionales para la UNESCO con el fin de averiguar la fecha límite para la recepción de solicitudes a nivel nacional.

The purpose of the IFCD is to promote sustainable development and poverty reduction in developing countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The IFCD supports projects that aim to foster the emergence of a dynamic cultural sector, primarily by facilitating the introduction of new cultural policies and cultural industries, or strengthening existing ones.

Eligibility

The beneficiaries of the Fund are developing, economies in transition and least-developed countries that are Parties to the Convention.
Therefore, those who are eligible to apply to the Fund are:

• Public authorities and institutions from eligible countries (developing countries Parties to the 2005 Convention).
• Non-governmental organisations from eligible countries (developing countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention), which meet the definition of civil society as mentioned in the Operational guidelines relating to the role and participation of civil society;
• International non-governmental organisations, registered in countries Parties to the 2005 Convention

Projects

• Projects must be implemented and/or benefit only eligible countries (developing countries Parties to the 2005 Convention).
• The project implementation period shall be between 12 and 24 months.

How to apply

All funding requests are to be sent to the relevant National Commissions for UNESCO or other official channels designated by the States Parties, who will then submit them to the Secretariat of the Convention. INGOs should submit applications directly to the Secretariat of the Convention if their programme/project proposals are supported in writing by the States Parties concerned. Application should be completed in either English or French.

Budget

Maximum amount that can be requested from the IFCD is $100,000 for programmes/projects.

¿Cómo participar?

European Research Council (ERC) grants are available to support researchers in carrying out frontier research projects. The European Research Council (ERC) is a European funding initiative, designed to support the best scientists, engineers and scholars in Europe. Its mandate is to encourage the highest quality research in Europe through competitive funding and to support investigator-initiated frontier research across all fields of research, on the basis of scientific excellence.

About

ERC Advanced Grants allow exceptional established research leaders of any nationality and any age to pursue ground-breaking, high-risk projects that open new directions in their respective research fields or other domains. The ERC Advanced Grant funding targets researchers who have already established themselves as independent research leaders in their own right.

In brief:
Research proposal: pioneering frontier research in any field of science, engineering and scholarship
Researchers: candidates can be of any nationality, any age, must be scientifically independent and have a recent research track-record and profile which identifies them as leaders in their respective field(s) of research
Host organisation: legally recognised public or private research organisation situated in an EU Member State (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden) or an Associated Country.
The Associated Countries are Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Israel, Georgia, North Macedonia, Norway, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Switzerland, Faroe Islands, Ukraine, Tunisia and Turkey.

Notice for UK applicants: The Withdrawal Agreement foresees that the UK will continue to participate in the current 2014-2020 EU programmes, including ERC Grants, as if the UK was an EU Member State until the closure of the programmes.

Conditions

Funding: up to EUR 2.5 M per grant.
Duration: up to 5 years
Calls for proposals: published annually
Up to an additional EUR 1 000 000 can be requested in the proposal to cover: 
- eligible "start-up" costs for Principal Investigators moving to the EU or an Associated Country from elsewhere as a consequence of receiving the ERC grant;
- and/or the purchase of major equipment and/or 
- access to large facilities.

The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is the EU's programme to encourage international learning mobility across the African continent. The programme provides support for consortia of African Higher Education Institutions and scholarship opportunities for African trainees, students and staff.

The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is part of the Youth Mobility for Africa flagship initiative which aims to support learning opportunities and exchanges and ultimately to promote Africa as an attractive study destination. Youth Mobility for Africa is one of the flagship initiatives related to Education and Training under the EU-Africa Global Gateway Investment Package

More specifically, the programme aims to:

1. Promote inclusive learning mobility opportunities with a focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation in curricula and research programmes;
2. Increase the employability of higher education students and trainees, specifically in green jobs, and their entrepreneurship skills;
3. Improve the quality, relevance, internationalisation and climate change focus of higher education in Africa.

The Call is open to all themes/subject areas relevant to the action’s objectives.

Eligible applicants, partnership and individuals
Higher education institutions (HEIs) private or public, registered in Africa that provide courses at postgraduate level (master level and/or doctorate degree) of higher education leading to a qualification recognised by the competent authorities in their own country. Only HEIs accredited by relevant national authorities in Africa are eligible. Branches of HEIs from outside Africa are not eligible.

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least 5 and maximum 7 applicants (beneficiaries; not affiliated entities), which complies with the following conditions:
- Minimum 4 and maximum 6 HEIs from the eligible countries in the following African regions: East and Central Africa, Southern Africa and Indian Ocean, West Africa.
- One HEI from one of the EU Member States (EU technical partner)
- Maximum 2 HEIs from the same eligible country in Africa.

Two categories of projects will be selected:
- Sub-regional projects involving HEIs from at least four different countries from one of the following African regions: East and Central Africa, Southern Africa and Indian Ocean, West Africa.
- Cross-regional projects involving HEIs from at least four different countries representing the three following African regions: East and Central Africa, Southern Africa and Indian Ocean, West Africa.

Eligible activities and duration
The project will entail the organisation and implementation of student and staff mobility in high quality master and doctoral programmes and academic/administrative staff mobility, as well as the provision of education/training and other services to foreign students and teaching/training and research assignments and other services to staff from the countries covered by the project.
Mobility must take place only in Africa.
Projects should normally last 48 months.

Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR EUR 27 000 000 allowing around 15 projects.

Le programme de mobilité académique intra-africaine est le programme de l'UE visant à encourager la mobilité internationale des étudiants sur le continent africain. Il soutient les consortiums d'établissements d'enseignement supérieur africains et offre des bourses aux stagiaires, aux étudiants et au personnel africains.

Le programme de mobilité académique intra-africaine fait partie de l'initiative phare "Mobilité des jeunes pour l'Afrique" qui vise à soutenir les possibilités d'apprentissage et les échanges et, en fin de compte, à promouvoir l'Afrique en tant que destination d'étude attrayante. La mobilité des jeunes en l'Afrique est l'une des initiatives phares liées à l'éducation et à la formation dans le cadre du paquet d'investissement «Global Gateway» UE-Afrique.

Plus précisément, le programme vise à :

• Promouvoir des opportunités de mobilité d'apprentissage inclusives en mettant l'accent sur l'atténuation et l'adaptation au changement climatique dans les programmes d'études et de recherche ;
• Améliorer l'employabilité des étudiants et des stagiaires de l'enseignement supérieur, en particulier dans les emplois verts, et leurs compétences en matière d'entrepreneuriat ;
• Améliorer la qualité, la pertinence, l'internationalisation et la prise en compte du changement climatique dans l'enseignement supérieur en Afrique.

L'appel est ouvert à tous les thèmes/sujets en rapport avec les objectifs de l'action.

Candidats, partenariats et individus éligibles

Établissements d'enseignement supérieur (EES) privés ou publics, enregistrés en Afrique, qui dispensent des cours de troisième cycle (niveau master et/ou doctorat) de l'enseignement supérieur menant à une qualification reconnue par les autorités compétentes de leur propre pays. Seuls les EES accrédités par les autorités nationales compétentes en Afrique sont éligibles. Les filiales d'établissements d'enseignement supérieur situés en dehors de l'Afrique ne sont pas éligibles.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par un consortium d'au moins 5 et de 7 candidats au maximum (bénéficiaires ; entités non affiliées), qui remplit les conditions suivantes :

• Au minimum 4 et au maximum 6 EES des pays éligibles des régions africaines suivantes : Afrique de l'Est et centrale, Afrique australe et océan Indien, Afrique de l'Ouest.
• Un EES de l'un des États membres de l'UE (partenaire technique de l'UE).
• Au maximum 2 EES d'un même pays éligible en Afrique.

Deux catégories de projets seront sélectionnées : 

• Projets sous-régionaux impliquant des établissements d'enseignement supérieur d'au moins quatre pays différents de l'une des régions africaines suivantes : Afrique de l'Est et centrale, Afrique australe et Afrique du Sud : Afrique de l'Est et centrale, Afrique australe et océan Indien, Afrique de l'Ouest. 
• Projets interrégionaux impliquant des EES d'au moins quatre pays différents représentant les trois régions africaines suivantes : Afrique de l'Est et centrale, Afrique australe et océan Indien, Afrique de l'Ouest : Afrique de l'Est et centrale, Afrique australe et océan Indien, Afrique de l'Ouest.

Activités éligibles et durée

Le projet comprendra l'organisation et la mise en œuvre de la mobilité des étudiants et du personnel dans le cadre de programmes de master et de doctorat de haute qualité et de la mobilité du personnel académique/administratif, ainsi que la fourniture de services d'éducation/formation et d'autres services aux étudiants étrangers et de missions d'enseignement/formation et de recherche et d'autres services au personnel des pays couverts par le projet.

 La mobilité doit avoir lieu uniquement en Afrique.

 Les projets doivent normalement durer 48 mois.

Budget

Le montant indicatif global mis à disposition dans le cadre de cet appel à propositions est de 27 000 000 EUR, permettant la réalisation d'une quinzaine de projets.

El objetivo del programa es fortalecer la cooperación entre las instituciones de educación superior (IES) en frica, Caribe y Pacífico en vistas del aumento del acceso a la educación superior de calidad y con el fin de alentar a los estudiantes a cursar estudios de posgrado, y promover la retención de los estudiantes en la región, así como la movilidad del personal (académico y administrativo) para aumentar la competitividad y el atractivo de las propias instituciones.

Más concretamente, el programa tiene como objetivos:
- Facilitar el acceso a la educación superior para los estudiantes, incluidos los de los grupos desfavorecidos;
- Facilitar la cooperación en materia de reconocimiento de estudios y títulos;
- Contribuir a la mejora de la calidad de la educación superior a través de la promoción de la nacionalización y la armonización de los programas y planes de estudios en las instituciones participantes;
- Mejorar la capacidad de cooperación internacional de las instituciones de educación superior en países de frica, Caribe y Pacífico;
- Promover la cooperación entre las instituciones de origen y de acogida;
- Permitir a los estudiantes, académicos y personal beneficiarse lingüística, cultural y profesionalmente a partir de la experiencia adquirida en el contexto de la movilidad a otro país;
- Mejorar, a medio plazo, los vínculos políticos, culturales, educativos y económicos entre los países participantes. Para la presente convocatoria se definen algunas prioridades sectoriales/temáticas adicionales.

Candidatos admisibles y composición de la asociación:
- Instituciones de educación superior (IES) de frica, Caribe y Pacífico que ofrecen cursos de posgrado y/o de doctorado dentro de la educación superior, reconocida por las autoridades competentes de su país de origen. Sólo instituciones de educación superior nacionales de frica, Caribe y Pacífico autorizadas por las autoridades nacionales son elegibles. Las sucursales de instituciones de educación superior fuera de frica, Caribe y Pacífico no son elegibles.
La asociación debe implicar entre 3 y 12 instituciones de educación superior.

Actividades elegibles y duración:
El proyecto supondrá la organización y realización de la movilidad de alta calidad de estudiantes y personal, master y doctorado, así como la provisión de educación/formación y otros servicios a los estudiantes extranjeros y la enseñanza/formación investigación y otros servicios para el personal de el país (es) objeto del proyecto. La movilidad debe tener lugar en uno de los países que pueden optar a la presente convocatoria de propuestas.
La duración del proyecto debe ser de entre 48 y 60 meses, sobre la base de las actividades previstas.

Presupuesto:
El importe indicativo global asignado a la presente convocatoria de propuestas asciende a 23,45 millones de euros.

Fecha límite: 10 de junio de 2013, a las 16.00 horas CET.

The programme's objective is to enhance human capital development in Africa, while strengthening intra-African collaboration as called for by Agenda 2063.

More specifically, the programme aims to:
- increase the employability of students;
- improve the quality of higher education in Africa and its relevance to Africa's development vision;
- strengthen the modernisation and internationalisation of African higher education institutions, and promote the development of an African higher education and research space.

Mobility of students and staff between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is expected to help them acquire stronger knowledge and skills and contribute to improve the quality and relevance of teaching and learning through exchanges of practices. In addition, the scheme will contribute to strengthen the modernisation and internationalisation strategies of HEIs through the establishment of mechanisms to manage the mobility flows.

Eligible applicants and partnership composition
Higher education institutions (HEIs) registered in Africa that provide courses at postgraduate level (master level and/or doctorate degree) of higher education leading to a qualification recognised by the competent authorities in their own country. Only HEIs accredited by relevant national authorities in Africa are eligible. Branches of HEIs from outside Africa are not eligible.

The technical partner has to be a HEI from one of the EU Member States having been awarded an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
The partnership will be constituted of minimum four and maximum six African HEIs as partners (including the applicant) and one technical partner from the EU.

 

Eligible activities and duration
The project will entail the organisation and implementation of student and staff mobility in high quality master and doctoral programmes and academic/administrative staff mobility, as well as the provision of education/training and other services to foreign students and teaching/training and research assignments and other services to staff from the countryies covered by the project.
Mobility must take place in one of the eligible countries covered by this call for proposals.
The duration of the project must be between 60 months.

 

Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 9 800 000 allowing around 350 mobility flows. 
Each grant will amount to between EUR 1 000 000 (minimum grant size) and EUR 1 400 000 (maximum grant size).
