The Italian Erasmus+ National Agency INDIRE is inviting young musicians to join the Erasmus Orchestra for its 2027 concert season, which will feature major events celebrating 40 years of the Erasmus Programme.

The orchestra is seeking players of the violin, viola, double bass, bassoon, horn, and percussion/timpani. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, citizens of an Erasmus+ country, and enrolled at a Higher Music Education Institution in an EU Member State or Erasmus+ associated country. Priority is given to students with past or current Erasmus+ mobility experience.

Participation is entirely free, with travel, accommodation, and meals fully covered by INDIRE and event partners.

Candidates cannot apply individually; nominations must be submitted directly by their conservatoire or music institution (up to 3 candidates per school).
