Are you passionate about disaster management, community resilience, or civic engagement? The European Commission is inviting young changemakers to join the official Youth Delegation at the 9th European Civil Protection Forum, taking place on 3–4 November 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
Under the theme “Preparing today, ready for tomorrow”, this is your chance to:
- take part in dedicated youth workshops and interactive activities
- contribute your ideas on youth engagement and preparedness
- help shape the outcomes of the Youth Agenda and Europe’s strategy for tackling future emergencies, climate risks, and disasters
- connect with other young people active in related fields across Europe
- engage with policymakers, experts, and practitioners
Who can apply
Young people aged 18–30 living in an EU Member State or UCPM Participating State (including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Türkiye, and Ukraine), with an interest in civil protection, youth engagement, disaster risk reduction, resilience, science for disaster risk management, preparedness, and related fields.
Funding
Travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
