ALF in Motion is a mobility programme of the Anna Lindh Foundation that creates opportunities for civil society organisations to carry out in-person intercultural dialogue initiatives with partners from the other shore of the Mediterranean. Through the programme, organisations receive financial support to coordinate mobility actions and develop projects with new partners, involve relevant experts in their events, and co-create art or produce new knowledge.

Who can apply

• Each application must be submitted by a single organisation (the host) to invite one representative from another organisation (the hosted). The host and the hosted must be based on different shores of the Mediterranean.
• The applicant (host organisation) must be a legal entity registered in one of the 43 Euro-Mediterranean Partnership countries. The same applies for the hosted organisation, with the exception of the Creativity Modality, where individual artists (not representing organisations) are eligible to be hosted.  
• Activities must take place in the host organisation’s home country.

Four types of mobility

1. Mobility for Partnership 

• Duration: Minimum 7 days, excluding travelling days 
• Funding: 1.300 euro 
• Purpose: Host partners to jointly develop project proposals for national or international donors 

1. Mobility for Action 

• Duration: Minimum 2 days, excluding travelling days 
• Funding: 1.000 euro 
• Purpose: Mobilise transnational expertise to take part in intercultural events, workshops, debates and trainings, among others 

1. Mobility for Creativity 

• Duration: Minimum 20 days, excluding travelling days 
• Funding: 2.200 euro  
• Purpose: Host artists and creative individuals for collaborative cultural initiatives 

1. Mobility for Knowledge 

• Duration: Minimum 7 days, excluding travelling days 
• Funding: 1.300 euro 
• Purpose: Host experts, from specialised entities, to co-produce intercultural dialogue know-how
