The Global Quantum Mechanics Challenge (GQMC) is an international challenge designed for high school and university students interested in learning more about the quantum world. As an accessible, research-oriented, and internationally connected program, GQMC allows participants to explore physics beyond the standard curriculum through real-world problem formats.
Who can apply
All high school and university students worldwide.
Participants are grouped into three age categories:
- Junior: Grade 10 or below (under 16)
- Youth: Grades 11–13 (16–18/19)
- Senior: University level (19+)
Benefits
- International Recognition: All participants receive official digital certificates, with finalists and top performers earning special distinctions.
- Cash Prizes (Total: 1500 USD): The top achievers in the Final Round receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prizes, awarded globally:
- 1. Prize Senior: 250 USD, 2. Prize Senior: 175 USD, 3. Prize Senior: 125 USD, 1. Prize Youth: 200 USD, 2. Prize Youth: 150 USD, 3. Prize Youth: 100 USD, 1. Prize Junior: 175 USD, 2. Prize Junior: 125 USD, 3. Prize Junior: 100 USD
