The Cross-Border Ambassadors programme is seeking young people aged 18–30 who want to represent their border region, share their experiences, and work with European Commission officials and other Ambassadors. As part of the programme, you’ll help raise awareness about cross-border challenges and solutions, and play a role in shaping EU cross-border cooperation.
What it is
- 6-month programme: 1 October 2026 – 31 March 2027
- Monthly online meetings with EU officials and other Ambassadors
- Create and share content: videos, podcasts, reports, or local events about cross-border life
- Collaborate: join debates, connect with youth from other countries, and make a real impact
- Certificate: get official recognition for your work.
Who can apply
- Young people aged 18–30
- Living in an EU or EFTA country and connected to a border region
- Fluent in English (other EU languages are a plus)
- Motivated to make a difference and commit to about 2 days/month
How to apply
- Fill in the application form
- Write a motivation letter (max 500 words) about your border region experience and why you want to join
- Record a short video (max 2 minutes) sharing your cross-border story and a solution you’d propose.
