The European Youth Foundation (EYF) has launched a special call to fund activities to support young people from Ukraine affected by the war through civil society and youth work interventions, within the framework of the values of the Council of Europe.
Eligibility criteria
- be legally constituted as a civil society organisation in Ukraine;
- be entitled to carry out in Ukraine activities described in its project proposal;
- have been active for at least 2 years in the field of youth work in Ukraine;
- have sufficient financial capacity (stable and sufficient sources of funding) to maintain its activity throughout the period for which the grant is awarded and to participate by way of its own resources (including human resources or in-kind contributions);
- have sufficient operational and professional capacity, including staff, to carry out activities described in its project proposal
Projects/Activities
The grants will finance projects aimed at ensuring young people's access to youth work activities. They should include one or more of the following areas:
- Non-formal educational activities in the field of mental health and trauma-informed youth work;
- Awareness-raising and non-formal educational activities in the field of barrier-free environment and accessibility;
- Human rights education activities with a focus on youth participation;
- Open youth work activities (mobile, outreach, detached, street youth work, etc.).
The implementation period of the proposed initiatives should begin no earlier than 1 June 2026 and end no later than 31 August 2026.
Financial conditions
The Council of Europe plans to provide four grants with a maximum amount of up to €4,500 each.

Applications must be submitted via the EYF online system in English or French. The title of the applications should include the text: “Special Call for Ukraine”.
